Chapter - 12

"This is your mother's," announced Gramps as he seized Lucas in his eyes into pieces, he was settled near the stone and the tears rushed down his cheeks, the pain was immeasurable, yes her behavior was in the question towards him, still she was his mother and he'd had the love stored in his heart. The date had revealed to him as was 14 June 2011, a 9 years had been elapsed since he was departed and deserted her.

"How– how did she die?!" Asked Lucas.

"That's something that you will soon get the answer to, you can have as much time you want to be here and grieve the loss of your mother,"

Gramps walked away and left Lucas with his fortitude. though Lucas had his mind occupied with the unresolved mystery of her death, still the tranquility was lost and his hopes had been trampled beneath the stone as he'd had dreamt about seeing them again. He rose as the dim sunlight flickered upon him and the pang had amply passed, and nothing but the dull numbing pain of it remained. He soon rose and walked up to Gramps as he had a tree admiring its leaves.

"Well," said Gramps, "Do not fret dear, she wasn't a nice mother to you, have you forgotten the pain she'd had poured into you?"

"I loved her, she was still my mother," he didn't forbearance pang be evident in his voice.

"No dear, she was not even come close to the value of a mother! She had her own intentions regarding you, she wanted to disperse into the crowd and take you away from me,"

Gramps looked at him as the tears had awash his face already in the blink of a second, and the dead leaves whirled by the help of the wind and tumbled upon Gramps's legs, betrothed or not betrothed, he was equally far from him at the current wretched state of his, but it couldn't have hindrances the prescient even as it held no assertion to trample the feelings of Gramps.

"Now dear, shall we proceed to the next big thing?!"

"I know what he did to you!" Said Lucas,

"Wha—- what do you mean?"

Though the pain was immeasurably visible on her face, still she had the intention of letting his crime of vindictive stay hidden.

"You should tell me everything,"

"I don't know what you are talking about,"

Her eyes had the blots of tears crowding, and Lucas had the hint that the words were almost beneath her tongue but still had the poignant heavier than her urge to let the words fly.

"Do not fret, he isn't nice to you, he isn't a nice guy for you, have you forgotten what pain has he poured into you?" His words had felt like a bullet to her even though his words were real to her as well, still, she could do nothing besides obeying the ugly side of Zak.

"Speak to me, he doesn't even come close to the value of being called a partner, you need to discern the real animal that is hidden beneath him! He has raped you, you can't be silent now!"

"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, I I need —- I need to go." She quickly rose and in a second, had she reached the door, though Lucas had wanted to stop her but he'd let her go, soon the silence permeated the room and she was disappeared from his eyes even though he could see her through the hole, instead he chose to stay awhile his knees had screamed for its treatment. He lied down to his messy quilt, awash with the books, the wind hurled again and the sun had decided to disperse, the moon threw the dim light to the land, it was gorgeous to an extremity yet he'd had no feelings towards it at the current time. Soon enough he'd decided to inquire about her condition as he leaned onto the wall and looked through the hole. She was there, in her bed and yes, sleeping, her sleeping had its own charming traits on her face. Perhaps she seemed relaxed and that made Lucas a bit happy.

He shifted his glance to the books that she'd had left behind and there it was, the magazine, it had a woman on the cover as her naked body splashed against the light of the sun, perhaps the theme was of the beach. He wasn't sure, in his own mind, why she had the magazine confined with the photos of women, why she had taken it under her possession. Without a second doubt, he let his eyes disperse as his fingers opened the finger. It did feel like she had poured almost all the books here in his room but he'd never thought that he found something like this in her piles of books, he surveyed every page and every picture of the women sitting naked, alluring him, yet he'd had restraint himself, he had his sexual desire arousing with every steps his fingers took. Those smiles, the smiles that were stitched to their faces had the attractiveness to be easily called "Sexy!"

He looked at the hole again and fantasized about her being one of the women in the pictures. He kept his eyes on her, and surveyed her gorgeousness that he could only fantasize about or stare at her as she's being unknown to the fact.

He took his eyes off of her and turned a page, and in his surprise, his fantasy had glanced its way to reality as the woman that was standing against the dim light of the sun on the beach, with her whole body avow to the world, naked. It was her! He had his own doubts, he couldn't asunder the facts of embarrassment for her or being provoked his anger by it, but he damn sure was that he wasn't happy seeing her there. He had the doubts forming inside his mind as to whether she was as dirty as he thought she was clean. Those thoughts had confined his brain, and amply those thoughts had helped him to decide, to take the actions and ask her upfront!
