I woke up, and something was strange. I wasn't in pain or anything but my eyes they saw a holographic screen in front of me. I rubbed eyes twice before i could see what it was.

What was this?? everything was zero except my charm. lol i'll be just a beautiful vase. But what is talent, rank and skills? i wonder, after all i Don't want to feel helpless again while facing danger like that before.

I have to change my mentality, atleast little bit by bit so i can stomach all the ghore. But surprisingly i didn't see any nightmare like i expected them to come, guess i was too tired for by brain to even have them.

After tiding myself up, l took a shower and then cleaned the guest room that Silea let me stay in, all in all tis' was a good experience.

I went downstairs but the air fragrance was sweet, Silea was in kitchen and making breakfast, I walked up to him and then tapped his soldier. "Good morning, hmm do you need any help".

He looked suprised by my action, but quickly that emotion hid on his face, "Morning to you to, yes can you set this on the table".

"ok".

After putting the food in the table we began to eat, the food was what can I say was tastier than what my mom would make.

"Silea can you tell me someway to make money, i Don't want to become burden to you,". I asked. But selia looked at me for a few seconds before saying.

"you are not a burden at all".

"But still."

"it should be a job that can give me much money with low work", after hearing my words Silea laughed and then said, "There are few but, do you have any type of identification card on you". i replied, "No".

"Then it may be a bit hard, you can possibly become a butcher, they don't need indentity card." The previous fumbling Silea was nowhere to be seen. "what do you mean a butcher?" i don't wanna become that.

"People who skin monsters, they earn quite a bit, many people hate the smell of monsters. only few take this job." After thinking about it for sometime. "Then let's give it a shot".

Silea quickly replied with, "If you don't want to you can just stay here, atleast untill your memories get back, we can go to a hospital".

"No no no, Silea it's fine. I'd rather work hard".

"I can introduce you to some butcher house.", Silea said. But why does he have connections with a butcher house. But then again why is he being kind and generous to me? something smells smoky. No something really smells really smoky.

The moment the waft of smoke came, the flustered Silea returned, with confusion he ran toward the kitchen and turned off the gas stove and looked at me with drooping eyes.

"I burned the d...dessert", i nearly laughed at that gap moe. "No worries, i was already full." We began to air the kitchen and wash the floor where at the time of confusion the confused Silea dropped the charred black dessert on.

after washing, we tidied up.

"ok let's go".

Silea locked the door of the house with keys and then as per Silea said before he was going to introduce me to a butcher. We went off to the market that was about a half an hour away via foot.

The buildings looked futuristic some cars were even flying, if so then why don't the make machine that can butcher a monster why use humans out of curiosity i asked the walking Silea beside me.

He nodded like he understood something, "it maybe because you lost your memories. But only humans can slice the skin of monster, machines can not. They can harm it but when it comes to properly skinning it only humans or specifically living touch can melt it. High grade monsters required high mana to even put a cut into it.".

This maybe the longest sentence i have heard from Silea, so i asked another question. "What does people with mana do" i mean do they work as architecture, healers as doctors or something like that.

" Hmm about that, there are many fields a mana user can go to, they can become fighters to protect world from chaosling. Or choose to go into more supportive role".

so according to what He said it's seem that humanity has a common enemy called chaosling. I was wondering why people with magic stayed together with peace afterall humans are very greedy. So a common enemy made them group together.

He also told me there is an association called lumen and an academy named Fos dedicated for humanities growth and protection for whatnot dangers there are to be.

He also told me that, he is enrolled in some fancy school and is going to try to go the fos academy. oh that must be why at the wall of city the gaurd said that he is a student.

Must mean being a student, is high thing.

"Silea i want to enroll in academy to, what are the requirements?". Silea looked at me little confused and said, "you can't".

little bastard what do you mean by i can't, i though but my expression gave it away that i was a little mad.

"I mean you don't seem that you possess, any mana". oh that's right, I am just your regular everyday normal moth*rf*cker. How can I have magic.

My mood was getting dark thank God we reached at our destination soon. There stood a slobby looking guy with stubble but one can see if he took care of himself he would look handsome.

"Hey, Silea long time no see" he tried to shake Silea hand but Silea only gazed at his hand, not shaking it. The guy awkwardly held hand for few seconds before taking it back and flicking his hair to not show how bad he felt.

He laughed awkwardly and moved toward me and then said, "who is he?". Silea looked at him and said , "A friend". Ris looked a bit pissed as he stared at Silea and said "the man of few word". which Silea ignored.

"So you want me to do you a favour, what's this the great Silea is asking me for a favour, since it's your first time. I will accept". Ris looked pretty smug on the other hand Silea had black lines on his face.

Dack dack dack dack.

Many people came running, with a huge monster that looked like Griffin. A chimera between the body of an eagle and a lion tied with ropes on a huge truck . Rin even though looked a bit messy was a responsible man. ignoring us he ran away toward those people and began to shout out orders.

He looked pretty dashing doing that, after managing the whole ruckus and told his juniors on how to dissect this pretty looking Griffin he moved back to us. where me and Silea were just looking at the mess.

"Hey newbie what's your name?" Ris asked while looking at me intensely, i quickly replied, "Noah, Noah Sapphire". Ris replied with a grin and smug on his face.

"hi, i am your new boss, Ris".
