Arthur was struggling to regain consciousness. At that moment, he saw himself in a totally blank place, with Leni's, Mora's, and Calypso's breasts circling above his disoriented head. Gradually Arthur regained consciousness and glimpsed the scenario the noble trainer was in. So it went until he managed to observe everything clearly.
"Hey, why are you red?" the first thing Arthur managed to focus on clearly, was what was in front of him, that is, Micky's huge and broad smile of happiness at seeing his Master awake. Arthur yelped in astonishment and hit the headboard of the gurney. They were in the hospital closest to the Rockville gymnasium.
"How wonderful that you woke up, Arthy; you had us worried sick." Calypso pounced on Arthur, smothering him with her arms and breasts. Though he only suffered the real smothering when the rest of his harem joined in.
"I appreciate you guys taking care of me after I lost consciousness, but, tell me, what happened next? Where is Leo?" asked Arthur worriedly, seeing that everyone was there with him but Leo.
"Leo is at the Monsuta recovery centre in the city. He'll be fine in no time." Leni added, smiling around Arthur, arranging his hair with his right hand.
"It was a tough battle, but I won, didn't I? I didn't dream it, did I? Cause that happened before. I swear if another dream eater is after me again." Arthur looked them all in the face one by one. On everyone's faces, including Raph's, there was a smile that then turned into a big, "Of course you did!" from everyone. The girls hugged Arthur again with impetus, who was very happy to have proved that what had happened had not been a dream. I have really won my first match in a Monsuta gym. I can't give up; I must keep moving forward! thought the young man with blue eyes and golden hair. "How long should I be here; I feel good already. There is no time to lose; we must continue our journey." So said Arthur, full of energy and hungry for adventure.
"Now that you have awakened, we must call the doctor to tell us when you will be able to leave here, Master. In fact, I don't know why no one has done so yet..." Raph was in a resting position at one end of the room.
"Raph is right; please inform the doctor that I have awakened and feel full of energy. He will surely discharge me today." Arthur said, raising both fists in the air.
Soon the doctor came in. Arthur's family has always been on good terms with the Doctors guilds. But this is the first time he has been in the hospital... without his father with him. Actually, Arthur was in the Pendragon suite. With how many times the male members of the Pendragon family get injured worldwide and how much business they bring to the doctor's guild. They are given their own suite to themselves in any hospital in the world.
"Let's see, let's see... Arthur Pendragon... Ah, yes, you must remain at the facility for a couple more days. Anything you need, please don't fail to let me know. See you later..." Arthur's face had embraced sadness, and his enthusiasm had completely frozen. His countenance was grim and tragic.
"I'll never get out of here... What kind of noble trainer am I? Would my father be proud of me? I'm a disgrace to the HETS!" Arthur was whispering to himself in a very dark sphere of personal reproach.
"Dude~, how dramatic you are, master dude," Micky said, smiling and dancing around Raph, who fell asleep before the doctor arrived.
"Arthy, it's only two days. You may feel energetic, but your body hasn't recovered yet. To continue, you must be at 100%," expressed Mora, arching his arms upwards, pulling out some muscle. Arthur eventually resigned himself and continued his eternal two-day treatment.
Leo managed to recover completely and saw his Master. This news was very motivating for Arthur, which accelerated his recovery process. When he had already been discharged, a thought, which quickly turned into a question, came to his mind. "Guys, what happened to Roxanne? She also suffered a lot of damage; how is she now?" asked Arthur as he adjusted his clothes inside the hospital room.
"She will also be discharged today, Master. Do you want to go and see her? She asked to speak to you when possible; I think that time is now," Leo stated, and the other Monsuta's nodded their heads. Arthur responded likewise and asked to be taken to the city gym leader's room.
"Oh, but if it isn't the champion." So said Roxanne, who was also getting ready to leave the hospital.
"Hi, how have you been feeling? I hope very well. Well, I'm not the champion yet, as I haven't received the Rockville badge." Arthur replied, rubbing the back of his neck as he closed his eyes and let out a weak laugh.
"Oh, I'm sorry...that concerns me. I thought I'd deliver to you what belongs to you when I was discharged. Besides making a request to you..." added Roxanne, bowing her head as she gave a small smile to Arthur, who put on his best blank face...
The team left the hospital, triumphant, on their way to the gym, where Roxanne would present the trainer's badge to their former opponent. "Arthur, you see... I could notice the bond you have with your Monsutas and with the people around you. It's something highly admirable and even enviable, for those of us who yearn for that kind of relationship with others, something that can become quite difficult to achieve." Roxanne found herself opening up sentimentally to Arthur, who was staring at her.
"That girl is starting to annoy me..." said Leni, trying to disguise her expression from hell.
"Oh, please, Leni, don't be jealous... For two Goddess I'm named after sake..." replied Calypso, faking the most forced smile on the planet, while an invisible black veil clouded her gaze. Mora merely stared at Roxanne.
"Well, I can understand that it's hard for some people... I think? But in my case, that doesn't happen. They are all the reason why I fight, besides my personal ambitions, which are none other than to better myself. Although I always try to be kind to people. There's enough evil in the world without adding to it..." Arthur walked upright, his gaze fixed on his horizon and the wind crashing against his face lightly ruffled his golden hair. Roxanne watched him out of the corner of her eye as she blushed. Behind, a gloomy, negative aura was slowly building.
"Wow... these girls could succumb to madness at any moment," Raph commented with Leo as they both hovered over the group. Leo only smiled slightly, somewhat uncomfortably.
"I know, or at least that's what I sense. That's why I wanted to ask you if it's possible that..." before Roxanne could finish formulating her question, the presence of a subject in front of them disturbed the nature of the scene. This guy was wearing a black trench coat that covered his entire body, was bald, and wore extraordinary dark glasses with some red and green lights. Standing static in front of the team, almost as if awaiting everyone's arrival at his location, he crossed his arms. He was wearing a strange garment underneath the trench coat with an IX in the centre, on his chest.
"What a strange guy; why is he standing there? Is he staring at us?" asks Mora. Arthur, with an incredulous look on his face, looks at the guy while blinking several times. Roxanne looks sideways only with her eyes, without moving her head, suspicious, looking for allies of that subject. "Well, I don't know, I'll ask him... Hey! Friend, do you want something, do you know us?" asked Arthur, without further ado, waving his right arm in the air while smiling. Everyone behind Arthur seemed to fall head over heels.
"Wow... who's that muscle-bound jerk? Well, it doesn't really matter. My target is that girl, so if you stand back and let me do my job, I won't mess with you... Hell, how old are you? You look like you've developed too much." Said the guy with the IX on his chest, pointing directly at Roxanne and asking that question at the end after inspecting Arthur Pendragon a bit more, who was approaching him along with his team.
"Arthy, be careful! That guy must belong to The Black Organization... They usually have Roman numerals stamped on their flannels, armour, or whatever they wear..." added Leni quickly, slowly raising her guard.
As they approached, familiar-looking creatures appeared behind IX as he drew a big smile on his face and clasped his hands behind his waist. "P-p-p PICKETTS! Roxanne shouted, hiding behind Arthur, touching his body. The blue-eyed young man made an effort not to let that distract him, though he couldn't help but blush slightly at the level of his cheeks.
"This is unbelievable; we could barely defeat a single one, Master... Any ideas?" said Leo, who was already on guard next to Raph.
"That's what I'm thinking, Leo... Damn, why do these things always have to happen to me?" wondered Arthur, looking at the sky. A wild Pickett didn't want to wait any longer and lashed out at the group. "EVERYONE PROTECT YOURSELVES!" shouted Arthur, as he grabbed Roxanne by the waist and pulled her away with him. "Hey, Roxanne, can you fight?" asked Arthur, realizing that the girl was very terrified.
"Sorry, the Picketts scare the hell out of me. I can't fight that Monsuta." Roxanne replied with complete sincerity.
"Who the hell are you? Why are you attacking in the middle of town?" asked Arthur, starting to get annoyed, as the people of Rockville ran around looking for cover, still witnessing what seemed to be a battle about to begin.
"You, besides being weird, are you deaf or stupid? I want the girl, and if you don't back off, I'm going to kick your ass so many times, you'll never be able to sit down again." IX seemed to have very little patience.
"Wow... that guy is obscene, master," Jacky said, behind the girls, as they nodded at the same time, scowling.
"I won't let you take her, forget it, it's useless. You can insult me all you want, but it won't happen." Replied Arthur, who was crouched down protecting Roxanne. The golden-haired boy stood up and adopted a fighting countenance. "Hey, Micky, are you feeling energetic?" asked Arthur to the water dragon, who gave an incredible spin in the air, giving off bright blue energy. "At your command, Master..." he replied, with his characteristic positivity.
"Hey, hey... Are you a coward too? I don't have Monsutas, dude... These Picketts are just really pissed off, as you mistreated one of them; we met by chance, we shared our goals, and they turned out to be practically the same: kicking the strange golden-haired, blue-eyed, dark-skinned guy's ass... You have to admit, finding you is easy, kid." IX added, taking off his trench coat and adopting a fighting stance. The device the Master gave is working fine... I can understand these stupid beasts now.
"Wait, we mistreated one of them? Damn, that wild Monsuta wanted to kill us. Kill us! And almost ruined my manicure..." said Calypso, a bit hysterical.
Arthur analyzed the situation; the wild Picketts seemed to be doing the same. It was only a matter of time before they started making simultaneous attacks. "Let me get this straight... You say you have no Monsutas, and you adopt a basic Karate stance. Are you trying to tell me to fight you through martial arts?" asked Arthur, doing little jumps in his stance and breathing out his neck.
"You're not so slow after all, kid... Yeah, that's what I mean. Are you ready?" asked IX, tensing his muscles. Arthur drew a smile on his face, as did the girls behind him.
"Leni, Mora, Calypso... I'm counting on you. Take care of the Picketts as best you can. These are not as tall as the one we face; they must be younger and therefore less experienced. We already faced a stronger one, so they should be able to make it. Leo, Micky, Raph, Longfang, Jacky, Mani... I'm counting on you guys too. I'm going to take care of this guy; I won't let him get away with it." Arthur began to tense his muscles as well, while his blue flannel seemed to suffer the first damage.
"We won't let you down, Arthy, now finish off that arrogant bald guy!" shouted Mora energetically.
"Those girls with very vulgar..." said IX, with a vein about to burst on his forehead. Then, as if a bell had rung, both IX and Arthur began to run until they were face to face and began to exchange blows wildly.
"Hey, you're a member of the Black Organization, aren't you?" asked Arthur, dodging IX's attacks.
"What's that to you?" replied IX, throwing a kick that grated Pendragon's cheek. "Well, nothing, I am a member of HETS... more specifically, I am Arthur Pendragon, son of Gallo Pendragon, you know the directors of HETS. So if you are a member of that organization, you are in big trouble," Arthur said, showing a slight growing smile on his face and generating an opening in IX's defence, caused by the surprise of hearing who he was fighting with. Obviously, Arthur did not waste such an opening. "Have this!" said Arthur, connecting an incredible punch to IX's face, releasing around his entire body a glowing heroic blue aura that lingered.
IX went through about four food stores with his body after receiving that punch. "You'll pay for this, Pendragon... I'm going to delight in telling my friends about kicking a HETS member's ass." Added IX, then, almost superhumanly, he lashed out at Arthur in a great frontal leap, making it look like he was practically flying.
"Like the ones I stopped two times already?"
He threw a knee close to Arthur, absorbed by the boy's arms, who raised a cross defence. However, IX exerted a little pressure at the end of the blow, which caused the defence to break. Immediately after, IX managed to impact a front kick to the pit of Arthur's stomach. "Tell me, what did you think of that, HETS member? Its name is Ap Chagui, a powerful Taekwondo front kick." IX expressed, smiling, as he watched Arthur hug his stomach with both arms, his head fully bowed.
On the other hand...
"Damn, damn... Micky, use water missile" Mora ran as a wild Pickett chased after her. "Well, of course!" replied Micky cheerfully, as he concentrated a large amount of blue energy in his maw, firing it in a straight line. The Pickett managed to avoid a direct hit to her torso but couldn't save her paw.
"Oh, it's time... Raph, finish off that Pickett using Earth Dragon Sphere!" commanded Leni with momentum, pointing the target at Raph by stretching her arm out entirely, causing her breasts to heave quite a bit.
"Hey... no need to point at the target to me like I'm blind..." added Raph seconds before firing the attack with great precision straight into the Pickett's torso, finishing him off.
"Alright guys, combo attack, we should be able to take out the remaining ones right now..." Calypso was on top of Jacky, and they were escorted by Longfang, Mani, and Leo. "Those three Picketts stopped a few minutes ago while we were finishing off the other more active ones. They are charging their one special attack, Last Enemy Breath... We must get them to do it and draw them in, but without it hitting us." Said Mora, who was running beside Jacky.
"You are right, Miss Mora... and I think I could do something. Don't you think so?" asked Jacky, lighting up Mora's mind, who smiled broadly and, after jumping as high as she could, blew a kiss to the huge Monsuta insect.
"This is... unbelievable," Raph added. Leo watched the whole thing and sighed with his eyes closed.
"Wow, that was... nice," Jacky exclaimed, her tone elegant.
"All right, girls, try to work with me as best you can; we don't have any more time to plan anything more detailed. Jacky will buy us time and..." at that moment, the wild Picketts let out an almost inaudible roar that gained strength as it was emitted by all three at the same time. They were ready to attack... "Ohhh shit, shit, SHIT! Jacky, use Wall of Defense and then attack using Multiple Stings." Mora said quickly, closing her eyes, then slowly opening one. "Ohh, it worked. Arthy will be proud of me. I'll give him lots of little kisses-"
"Please open your eyes; the enemies are still alive..." Raph interrupted Mora's hurried cheer.
"Take this, you bird chap..." said Jacky, destroying the body of one of the Picketts. The shield carrying Athens' invincible girl, Mora, was also her carrier of the skill cards. Arthur had given him the skill cards of his Monsutas for cases like this. Taking into account that he does not need them due to the natural connection he has with his Monsutas through the use of Ki. But his harem does not have such a relationship yet. So, the cards are needed. In Leni's case, the device was her summoner staff, and Calypso's was one of her pirate's flintlock pistols.
They all waited behind Jacky's wall of defence as he tore the enemy Pickett to shreds. The other two wild Monsters charged hard without being able to stop themselves, hitting the defence wall with great power, which began to crack. One of the Pickett was smart and struck with precision the weakest part of the wall, leaving Calypso, who had descended from Jacky's back so that he could attack without holding back, totally vulnerable. There was no time to give any orders to any Monsuta. The Pickett charged a deadly peck but was disturbed when a human body crashed into the side of its huge moving beak, causing the wild Pickett to attack its ally right next to it. It was IX, who had flown away after an attack by Arthur.
Calypso, who had seen death in the face, opened her eyes and, bewildered, looked in the direction from which the flying body had come. The first thing she saw was a golden-haired figure, sideways, with one leg fully stretched upward. "Tell me, what do you think, bald member of The Black Organization... Her name is Dollyo Chagui. You're not the only one who knows martial arts, buddy." Calypso's beautiful blue eyes filled with tears of happiness. "Oh, Arthy...you saved my life. You deserve an award; of course, you do." She manifested, wiping away her tears and resuming her concentration on the battle that was not yet over.
Both wild Picketts were disoriented. It seemed too improbable that creatures so precise in the execution of their attacks would attack each other by mistake, which left them bewildered for a moment. Such a moment had to be seized, and so it was... "Now Mani, use Deadly Onslaught against one of the wild Picketts", ordered Leni quickly, taking control of the situation.
"Alright, Miss Leni!" replied Mani, the Monsuta Bull, as he ran at high speed towards his target with a white flash surrounding his horns. The impact was accurate and effective. Another Pickett had fallen; only one remained.
"Raph, use Mash Steel and finish off that last threat!" commanded Mora. Raph obeyed immediately, efficiently, repeatedly striking the enemy wild Pickett with the twist of his hardened tail.
The enemy Picketts had fallen. Roxane began to rise as the paralysis from the terror of the Picketts disappeared. "Wow, you guys are... amazing. You are very agile and experienced trainers." Roxane said sincerely.
"Living with Arthur Pendragon and his hapless luck tends to forge our experience." Leni expressed, leaning in a little and winking at Roxane.
At that moment, Calypso began to sprint in Arthur's direction. "Oh, oh, Calypso, wait a minute, just..." It was too late for him. Calypso jumped on Arthur with her arms outstretched, hugging him tightly, pressing him against her body, and joining her lips to his with momentum. Calypso's breasts had become one with Arthur's pectorals as he fell prey to the sincerest gratitude.
When she so decided, The Pirate Princess Calypso released the helpless Arthur, who wore a stupid expression and was very red. "Thank you very much, Arthy. If it hadn't been for you, I might now be..."
"Don't even think about that, Calypso. The important thing is that you're safe." Arthur regained his consciousness after that kiss only because Calypso was about to talk about what could have been his death.
Roxane came to meet Calypso and Arthur. The rest of the girls and the Monsutas also approached Pendragon. "I must say it is amazing how determined and powerful you are, Arthur Pendragon. You proved it to me during our battle, and you reaffirm it today, now. I must thank you for helping me today. That man from the Dark Organization was coming for me." Roxane expressed, taking Arthur by both hands with her own, as the harem emanated hellish energy with a smile on their faces. A sound caught everyone's attention; it was IX, who stood up, his glasses shattered and nose bleeding.
"You will pay for this, Arthur Pendragon. I swear to you." He said, panting.
"I always knew you'd get up, and I was waiting for you to do it so I could arrest you. No need to tell you on what charges, need I?" said Arthur, walking calmly towards the target.
At that moment, IX smiled slightly, and Arthur noticed him on the spot, starting to run at full speed. "Wow, how fast he is..." said Roxane, unable to help herself.
"We'll see you soon, Pendragon... I'll tell you that much," IX said, pulling a strange silver sphere out of his pocket and smashing it against the floor, activating a huge smokescreen immediately after the device's impact. Arthur continued to move forward but could not find it. IX had escaped.
"It can't be... Damn it!" Arthur wailed, a bit furious and disappointed in himself for letting him escape.
"That damn thing escaped..." lamented Calypso.
"He's so lucky... If only Arthur was really at 100% of his power, he'd be passed out and handcuffed right now." Mora added, frowning.
"Wait, what do you mean? We just got out of the hospital; he was already recovered, and so was I." Asked Roxane, who didn't understand what the girls were referring to.
"The current Arthur fights with only 10% of his true power..." added Leni, smiling broadly as she displayed the 10 with both hands extended forward. "Wait, what? That's... unbelievable." Raph expressed, looking at his Master, first surprised, then proud. Micky looked at him, and his smile spread even wider, giving way to a dance in the air. Leo's gaze was filled with hope and pride as he flapped his wings. They all watched Arthur in the distance, still lamenting IX's escape, surprised at Leni's words.
"How did you..." Roxane was about to ask something, but Leni already sensed what it was, so she began to answer.
"A year ago, Arthur was involved in a hard battle that almost ended his life. As a result, his Ki control and management was affected, damaging the flow of Ki. Arthur has been slowly recovering, but he is still far below his true power level."
Wow, this is simply unbelievable. That man is extremely powerful right now, and that's only 10% of his full power. Who wouldn't want to be around a man like that? Besides, he's very handsome and... Roxane had gotten carried away in her thoughts, and her expression had become a bit striking...
"Hey you, what are you thinking about?"
"Your expression is weird, Roxane..."
"You'd better watch your lewd thoughts towards our Arthur, stranger."
Mora, Leni, and Calypso accosted Roxane, standing in front of her with dark countenances and questioning her.
"The Master is a fortunate man, don't you think? I am of the opinion that it is due to his elegance." Jacky added, proud of his Master.
"I am of the opinion that he is an example of how wonderful good luck can be", expressed Longfang, with an expression of not understanding the situation.
After Arthur finished lamenting, the team continued to move towards the gymnasium. "Wow, it was complicated to be able to officially hand you the badge, Arthur. But finally, here it is. Here" Roxane handed the badge of the Rockville gym, an earth-type gym, to Arthur, who looked at it with his eyes shining like a constellation.
It was a small golden medal, with a drawing of a slightly battered rock and an adjacent fist. "It's simply beautiful..." said Arthur, putting it away and shaking Roxane's hand. "It's been a pleasure to meet you and a magnificent fight," Arthur added, smiling.
"I hope we can see each other soon, Arthur. Count me in for whatever you want, whenever you want. Consider me one of your friends." Roxane expressed, ducking her head a little, embarrassed. Arthur looked at her a little puzzled but at the same time with some affection and a slight smile. "That's good to know, Roxane. Of course, you can count on me for anything you need, too. If you need me, I will come running... Even if I'm in the depts of the underworld!" He finished with a winning smile.
Roxane looked like a tomato with sunburn. The girls were burning like hellfire. The Monsutas simply witnessed the scene with varied expressions. Then, at that moment, they are interrupted by someone.
"Uh, hello. My name is Peter. Are you the man who defeated the guy with the IX in his chest?" asked the unknown man who had arrived at the gym.
Arthur turned to him. "Yes, my name is Arthur Pendragon; what's up with that" asked Arthur, a little concerned by the man's desperate look.
"I'm sorry, I'm just a simple airline security worker from Rockville, but I know that guy. I've never dealt with him, but I mean, I saw him arrive in Rockville yesterday. He looked very suspicious to me, so much so that I wanted to look into it, but in the end, I didn't; I had too much work to do. But today, I witnessed it all. Maybe, if I had looked into it, today wouldn't have happened." Said the man, blaming himself.
"Easy, Peter, it's not your fault. The Black Organization is dedicated to sowing chaos wherever its members are. Based on the last two I met them. I doubt you could have stopped it from carrying out its plans here in Rockville." Arthur replied, resting one of his hands on the man's shoulder.
"Yes, I can understand that, but you can stop them, can't you? I know where he came from...taking advantage of the commotion, I checked his airline registration. He came directly from Italy, Venice. He's always going back there and out of there to different places. I checked all of that guy's flight records. He travels under the name Samuel Black, but I doubt that's his real name." Peter.
"Thank you very much for the information, Peter. I will do my best to make your efforts worthwhile. So go to any HETS HQ and say my badge number for your reward... Which should be about 2 something..." Replied Arthur cordially and bidding Peter farewell.
"Mr Pendragon, Rockville Airlines is currently out of operation, as the havoc caused by that fellow and the Picketts requires all the attention it can get to fix the damage caused. The airline labour corps volunteered. Goodbye, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thankfully no one was hurt in the chaos." Peter added, leaving with a smile on his face. On the other hand, Arthur was left wondering how he would get to Italy if he couldn't get out of there on a plane. Of course, he had not yet consulted with the group, so he turned around to do so...
"Alright, Master, when do we leave for Italy?" asked Jacky, very enthusiastically and holding an Italian flag with his trunk.
"Hey Jacky, wait, where did you get that flag?" asked Arthur, perplexed.
"That doesn't matter, Arthy; the more time we waste here, the longer it will take to get to Italy," Calypso mentioned while performing a little choreography with Mora and Leni.
"Wait... and where did you guys get those outfits from? I just turned around for a few moments to talk to that man! Arthur exclaimed, seeing how the girls were wearing their outfits with some Italian motif. Leni had the flag painted on one of her cheeks, Calypso on her flannel, and Mora was dressed entirely in the representative colours of the country.
Arthur was beginning to think it was not a good idea to go to Italy, but it was too late to back out... He tried to claim that the airline was out of service, but Leni reminded him that he could call their father and ask for one of HETS' private jets. Arthur futilely refused, as...
"Arthy, please do, all three of us asked."
"We had a hard time getting these outfits..."
"Yes, Arthy, we must go. Besides, those bad men are over there, and we must stop their plans."
The girls evidently did not have in mind going to confront The Black Organization plan in Italy as their primary objective; they wanted to go to the most romantic city in the world, Venice... also where their fellow harem sister is staying at the moment.
"I'm sure the last thing on their minds is to fight those guys," Raph said.
"I agree with you, little brother." Added Leo.
"Of course, they do... That's the main reason." Replied Jacky, waving his flag, which looked very small, being held by someone so big.
You, see? This is one of many reasons Arthur is trying not to have a harem. Past, he barely had the resistance to say no to cute girls. Now it's impossible to win a fight.
Arthur regrettably contacted his father with much suspicion, who very kindly sent a huge jet to his position. "I have sent your jet to you, son... very few times you used it, and it has been here ever since. So it's time for Arthur Pendragon to return to the heights." Gallo said, letting out a laugh.
I only flew that thing once and never wanted to do it again...
"Thanks, Dad... I appreciate it." Arthur thought and replied almost at the same time.
Finally, the HETS private jet arrived on autopilot. "This is amazing..." manifested Arthur, holding his palm to his forehead. The jet had been painted and completely resurfaced. It now reads 'The Incredible Arthur Pendragon pilots this jet' in addition to having Arthur's face drawn on it as well. Arthur looked at Roxane out of the corner of his eye, embarrassed.
"Hey, what a cool jet... your dad must love you quite a bit." Roxane expressed, looking at the jet with a neutral expression. "Well, Arthur, I guess this is where we say goodbye. Until another time, right?" asked Roxane, standing facing Arthur. "Soon, I'm sure we'll see each other, Roxane. Under better circumstances. Take care of yourself." Arthur replied, hugging Roxane and walking towards the jet, where everyone was already inside. The girls watched from the windows of the jet, fogging the glass with the hellish breath coming out of their mouths. Arthur took off the jet, and Roxane waved to them all from below.
"Wow, this sure is fast... But, master, you know where to go, don't you?" asked Leo, looking straight ahead and looking at Arthur's face.
"Sure I do; it's just been a long time since I've driven this thing. If I don't drive it, my condition will become active." Arthur replied, extremely focused on the board and the horizon.
"Ah, this speed we should be there in no time, Arthy," said Calypso, already breaking the rum. Arthur wondered how it was possible that they could manufacture jets large enough to transport Monsutas as big as Mani, or Jacky, in Camelot, without affecting speed. We are in charge of hunting criminals and beasts of all kinds, son, our vehicles must be prepared to transport them at all times, the possible answer that his father would give him came to Arthur's head, which made him let out a sigh and adopt a momentary annoyed expression when he heard his voice and laughed in his head.
A couple of hours had passed, the girls had fallen asleep together. Some of the Monsutas too, but the sound of one of the jet's thrusters exploding into a thousand pieces ended everyone's deep sleep. "Oh, shit... Hang on!" said Arthur, trying to keep the landing from being so forced. The jet was cushioned by a huge, thick grove of trees. For almost a full minute, the jet went all over the ground, shredding trees in its path as the heavy turbulence shook everyone inside the jet, except Arthur. He had to deal with the girls' breasts and buttocks hitting him and choking him as he tried to stop that prolonged landing.
"Wow, that was fun," said Micky. They all looked at him silently and then continued to assess the situation.
"Arthy, what happened?" asked Calypso, her clothes ripped and revealing some of her underwear, as did the other girls.
"I'm sorry, is everyone okay? The thruster simply exploded; maybe I was going too fast and overheated it. It had been a long time since I'd flown a jet, and it sure had been out of use since then. It's been a while since I had a forest crash." Explained Arthur, avoiding looking at the girls. "Damn... Where are we?" asked Arthur, looking around and realizing that this was a deep, dense forest. Quickly, strange noises were heard, and presences began to be felt. Leni ran to the almost destroyed jet and pulled out a suitcase containing a digital map from one of the lockers on the jet's roof.
"Arthy... we are near Italy, but, currently, according to this map, we are in a forest that does not belong to any country or city, it says here that it is the independent forest known as The Monsuta's Dusk... Dominated for the last 8 years by skilled forest hunters who are dedicated to hunt and slaughter any kind of Monsuta." Leni expressed, swallowing thickly and looking around.
Suddenly, an arrow that came out of nowhere, out of the trees, passed in front of Leo at full speed without him even noticing it. "Leo, use Vacuum Wave, now, shoot over there, where that arrow came from." Arthur pointed as his device glowed brightly, and the Ki directed at Leo was almost tangible. The Spider Dragon fired many pressurized air blades that cleanly sliced through about 55 trees in a frontal cone. This brought out 4 figures who jumped up to dodge the devastating attack. "Wow... that sure was a powerful attack. That Monsuta looks extremely powerful. Sadly, he'll have to die." A guy in leather armour, longbow, a quiver full of arrows, and hair as long as his bow lay on a tree branch, analyzing the entire team below him in detail. Everyone else was dressed pretty much the same, their facial features were a little different, and they brought markings on their faces.
"Who are you?" asked Arthur, analyzing them all. Calypso, Leni, and Mora were also on guard, frowning.
"Ya, that beautiful, voluptuous girl explained it to you very well... We're Monster hunters, and we're very good at it." Said another of the subjects, pulling an arrow from the quiver, drawing his bow with it, and shooting it, all in less than a second. "Leo, Venoshock towards the arrow!" expressed Arthur, making use of his impeccable reflexes. Leo obeyed, impacting the arrow in the air and disintegrating it before it reached its destination. The hunter successfully dodged Leo's attack.
"In Italy, the training of the Monsutas is tradition, its law, it's the done thing. The Monsutas are a kind of holy grail for them. So much so that there are even unofficial activities involving Monsutas. Whether as a reward or as payment." The hunter descended from the tree and lit a cigarette, not taking his eyes off Arthur's movements and his device, which was still glowing. The forest was covered by a pregnant silence that served as a stage for the words that came out of the hunter's mouth.
"We men and women who now inhabit this immeasurable forest used to live in Rome, where Monsutas were a source of economy. One night, a Monsuta seller had a couple of damned wild beasts' escape. He tried to subdue them with one of those damn sedatives that those HETS fakers make, but it didn't work, of course, because the HETS don't want the Monsters to disappear; they are their market too..." the man continued telling his story, while Arthur raised a brow, and felt the need to think deeply about those words, but he couldn't right now. "... Those beasts ran and ran until they found the first helpless human, my wife... They tore her to pieces, and then the police forces had those beasts again handed over to the seller, who was fined, and little else... Tell me, boy, are you proud of that dragon that flew over you? I'm sure you are, and I don't blame you, for it is majestic. But not all the damn Monsutas are like that, not all of them obey orders, not all of them are pleasing to the eye. And I don't mean just wild Monsutas in general, no, because there are even some that are wild, but they just want to survive, like any creature when threatened. I mean Monsutas with a killer instinct, who wouldn't mind taking a life." The man continued to vent, and for Calypso, it was impossible not to remember her recent brush with death; she looked at Arthur, then back to focusing on the hunter. But then the princess remembers all the other times she was close to death, and it wasn't involved with a Monsuta. The Haitian bounty glared at the hunter instead.
"I understand what you're saying. Ok, not really, but I've been paying attention to you, but is it really necessary..."
"Yes, my boy, yes it is..." the hunter interrupted Arthur. "I'm sure you were thinking of asking if it was necessary to eradicate all the Monsutas; the answer is yes. Why take the risk? As I see it, they are still beasts. My wife is no more, and maybe I can go back to sleep someday when I know that no one else can die under the attack of a damned Monsuta..." the hunter finished his cigarette, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it hard. "Alright, kid, you have several beasts, so as you understand, I'll need reinforcements." Behind him, he expressed the hunter, and about 5 more hunters began to show themselves, which appeared from among the trees, climbing on the branches.
"On guard, Trainer..." said the hunter. Arthur and the girls sighed at the situation. The Monsutas watched the enemies and waited expectantly for Arthur's orders.
