Strawberry hair-chan

[AYANOKOUJI POV]

As Ayanokouji stepped out of the bus, he stretched his arms and legs to relieve fatigue. His ears were soothed by the sound of his knuckles cracking. He returned a brief glance, waving goodbye to Ayaka. And with that, all the loose ends were tucked away. He was confident Ayaka has no way of retaliation since the bus won't halt until it reaches its next destination. In addition to that, because she is an outsider, she will be unable to enter his school.

Was it pretty cold of him? Probably. But as far as he is concerned Ayaka merely met a stranger on a bus, and there are no reasons for her to be infatuated with him. As the expression goes, "there are plenty of fish in the sea."

It was that time of year again when cherry blossoms seemed to glide through the air, carried by the breeze. 'Horikita,' the girl from earlier, was strolling right in front of him, her beautiful long black hair fluttering in the wind. Maybe it was the sakura petals, or maybe it was the spring air itself that seemed to elevate her beauty. Her thin waist and noble posture made her stand out even more. Ayanokouji, on the other hand, needed to know something before making any advances on her.

''Wait''

His voice caused Horikita to pause, she tilted her head slightly to look at the origin of the voice.

''You were looking at me at the bus, why?'' he asked.

Horikita narrowed her eyes, perhaps perplexed as to why he had asked her such a question. ''The last I checked it isn't a crime to look at someone; also, how would you know I was looking at you if you weren't looking at me too?'' She seemed rather smug at her own remark, tossing her front hair with her right arm.

"Relax, I had no malice behind my question, I was simply interested," Ayanokouji paused as if pondering something. "Say Horikita, if you don't mind me asking, why didn't you offer your own seat to the old lady?"

Horikitas eyes widened before staring at him with a glare. ''How do you know my name?''

''Huh?'' he scratched the back of his head.''It was written in the book you were previously reading.''

''You got some nerve spying on me.''

He couldn't help but sigh. ''I thought you already established that we both have been staring at each other, so why are you still fed up on that part? Arent we even?''

''Tch. I didn't give up my seat because I thought it would be pointless. That's all.''

''I see..... well if you are wondering my name is Kiyotaka Ayanokouji''

''Do I look like I asked?'' Horikita immediately started striding away, her skirt swaying against the wind. Before briefly glancing behind, '' Just so you know I don't want to spend any more time around people like you.''

Aynokouji casually shrugged, ''Feelings mutual.''

As Ayanokouji gazed at the passing figure of Horikita, he had already formed an opinion about her in his mind.

Yup, there is no doubt about it. Horikita Suzune is a mother f**king tsundere.

And it's for this reason that Aynokouji will keep his distance from her. When it comes to Tsunderes, things get a little more complicated. It's not that he doesn't believe he can make her fall for him; he's more concerned with what happens next. Horikita is a tsundere, so even if he seduces her, she will never admit it.

Of course, there's probably nothing more satisfying than getting a Tsundere to say "I like you" because it gives off a sense of accomplishment. However, Ayanokouji is seeking the quickest method to sleep with a girl, not the most fulfilling.

He lingered just outside the school gates, watching all the first-year students pass right past him. Once he makes it past these gates he will have three years of freedom. One small step for man, one giant leap for me getting laid.

[ICHINOSE POV]

''Hey Ichinose don't you think you think entrance ceremonies are just boring'' Chihiro a girl with short blonde hair and bluish violet eyes asked her peer. Both of them were in the middle of the auditorium with the rest of the school batch.

"Well, you're not entirely wrong." Chihiro's comment made Ichinose giggle. "I'd been going to entrance ceremonies since I was young, and I figured I'd get used to it. But I guess not."

''Right!! Right!!!'' Chihiro seemed to agree.

One would think that they were pals before they got to this school. That is not the case; they were both strangers approximately an hour ago. Ichinose and Chihiro happened to be sitting next to each other on the bus when they met. Their parallels don't stop there. They found they were in the same class through basic small talk. Class 1B. As a result, a bond amongst classmates was formed.

Advanced Nurchering High School. That's the name of the school they are at.

Ichinose saw this as her time to finally move forward and start over with a clean slate. It was thanks to her middle school homeroom instructor telling her about this high school that she chose this institution to attend. Swearing an oath to herself, she resolved to return to school in the hopes of restoring her mother's and her younger sister's smiles.

''Oh by the way you can call me Honami.'' Ichinose decided she is gonna get along with everyone in her class. So she might as well start with Chihiro.

''Eh-eh w-wait a minute are you sure?'' Chihiro seemed ecstatic about it, with sparkles in her eyes.

Ichinose was perplexed by her answer, "Uhh ..yeah, we should get along, after all, we're going to spend the next three years together." Ichinose smiled brightly at her, making Chihiro look down in embarrassment.

Once again Ichinose was confused by her reaction. Was it something I said that made her blush? Ahhh....she might be the sort that gets flustered easily. Well, It doesn't really matter as long as she's happy.

Chihiro wouldn't talk to her for the duration of the ceremony, as if she was preoccupied with something. Ichinose, on the other hand, didn't ask her anything since she didn't want to put any pressure on her; she'd rather let her speak at her own pace.

Once the entrance ceremony was over all the students were requested to head to their respective classes. As the two girls walked together, Chihiro suddenly stopped. Ichinose being concerned looked back at her friend.

''Hey, Ichinose can I ask you a weird question?''

''Sure go ahead!'' Ichinose was glad Chihiro trusts her enough to confide in her.

''You seem like the type of girl to always be popular. So you must've had a lot of boyfriends right?'' Chihiro's blush seemed to get even deeper.

Wait....what? Beads of visible sweat started dripping from her forehead. Where is she going with this????

''Sooo I was wondering if you're still single?''

''Ehhhhh!?!''

Out of all the questions, Ichinose had thought Chihiro was going to ask. This wasn't one of them. It wasn't like Ichinose actively had dating and romance on her mind, she preferred to disregard that side of life. Ichinose backed away subconsciously, slightly panicked. However, as a result of this, one of her ankles twisted, forcing her to tumble backward.

''Whoa Ichinose lookout!!'' Chihiro extended her hand to stop her friend's fall. However, it wasn't necessary.

Someone had already stopped her fall holding onto her back. Or to be more precise he didn't really catch her but was in the right place at the right time. He eliminated any possibility of Ichinose falling by acting as a solid wall, even if it wasn't deliberate. It looked as if she was leaning on him.

She peered up, her delicate back pressed against his chest. Because the boy was taller than her, she could see his facial features, smooth brown hair, and eyes with a yellow shade and purple gradient. She quickly drew away because it was the first time she had been this close to a member of the opposing sex. Her cheeks became slightly heated.

The boy lowered his gaze to his feet, prompting Ichinose to do the same. His sneakers featured a distinct footprint, which was unmistakably hers. Her shoes must have tracked dirt all the way here from school. Ichinose's face instantly paled to a ghostly white. Hasn't even been 24 hours of my new school life and I already messed something up.

But before she could say anything the boy started talking, ''Don't worry about it I should've been more careful while walking.'' It seemed like he was intentionally shifting the blame from her to him.

''B-But----''

''Like I said don't worry about it, just point me to the nearest washroom and I will be on my way.''

There wasn't any trace of anger on his face. However, there was no indication of any other emotions either. He appeared to have been born with a natural poker face. Chihiro did as he requested and pointed to the boy's restroom. The guy walked away, leaving them both behind. Despite the fact that the situation had been settled, Ichinose was disappointed. Considering that it was her fault due to her clumsiness, she felt a natural obligation to see this through. And most importantly, she never got to say thank you.

''Chihiro go on without me. I have some unfinished business to attend to.''

''Sure.'' Chihiro seemed to understand her reasons and left her with a meek smile. ''Make sure not to be late.''

Ichinose was relieved to have such a supportive friend. With a newfound resolve to find that guy, Ichinose headed out, though she soon came to a hollow realization.

She herself had no idea where the boy's washroom was...

....

.....

Should've paid more attention to where Chihiro was pointing. She couldn't help but slap herself on the face.

[AYANOKOJI POV]

He used a tissue to clean his shoe before flushing it down the toilet. His trip to the washroom was only supposed to last 5 minutes, but he spent much too much time in the mirror experimenting with new looks. Which was a terrible waste of time because he just went with his typical hairstyle.

He read in a magazine that women do notice a guy's hair and if given the choice between hair and no hair, they would nearly always choose hair.

Which is weird since the existence known as 'Johnny Sins' shatters those expectations.

Ayanokoji didn't have a watch, so he didn't know what time it was, but his white room senses began to tingle with the thought that he was already late. Not to mention the restroom had gone silent around him.

Being late on the first day of school. Mmmmm..... not really a good first impression

Throwing the door open, Ayanokoji rushed out the deserted bathroom, his momentum carrying him through the door and into— an obstacle?

''—Huh?''

Ayanokoji's face met a soft and yielding surface that completely enveloped his field of vision. He could hear a cute muffled shriek of surprise as the indescribable feeling and sweet, perfumed scent of citrus surrounded him.

Ayanokoji dropped to the floor of the hallway as if to push the person he had run into down.—

The hallway was in complete silence.

Ayanokoji's face was still buried in the smooth texture and the nice aroma. It felt like he was slipping into a marshmallow pillow. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He feared he would fall asleep right there. His right hand moved closer to his face, gripping onto the enigmatic surface to get a better feel for the texture.

''Mmm--''

Huh...that's weird, the last time I checked pillows don't moan. Must be a new model or something.

It felt nice.

Too nice.

Then again why was there a pillow in the middle of the hallway?

''...Excuse me. Could you please move off of my chest now?'' It was a girl's voice, a beautiful, soft soothing mumble.

At first, Ayanokoji didn't understand the girl's words. A little too late, it hit him.

Chests huh.....no wonder they were soft- wait a minute!
