Practice

"Thank you for coming to help me" said Tatiana as she smiled as she looked at Natasha.

"It's no problem at all" said Natasha as she smiled, well she had nothing else to do anyway, and well, she was already awake, so what better to do than to help watch Tatiana as she was practicing her shots.

"But still thank you, I am just so annoyed, I still can't get the hang of shooting, I always miss the target" said Tatiana as she sounded very annoyed as she frowned and Natasha could not help but laugh.

"What is funny?" asked Tatiana.

"Nothing" said Natasha as she laughed, Tatiana looked like a cute chipmunk when she frowned like that.

"But you laugh" said Tatiana.

"It's nothing really, why don't you focus on your shot?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"Okay" said Tatiana as she put on her ear muffs and she loaded her gun as she focused on the target and she shot the gun.

"Ayyy" said Tatiana in annoyance.

"I miss again" said Tatiana as she was getting tired of this, she had the worst aim of them all, and well Romanoff hadn't complained yet, but she was sure that once he did, she would be unable to show that she had improved.

"Hmm, don't beat yourself up too much Tatiana, not everyone is good like that" said Natasha as she tried to make Tatiana feel better, she could see that she was irritated with herself right now.

"But how can I not? Everyone else is good, but I am bad" said Tatiana as she sighed.

"You're not bad, you just need more practice" said Natasha.

"That is what I have been doing Natasha" said Tatiana.

"Alright, you want to know what I think?" asked Natasha.

"What?" asked Tatiana.

"You just need to have more focus" said Natasha.

"How?" asked Tatiana.

"Next time, when you shot, maybe try closing one eye so you can use the other eyes to focus on the target, that should provide you with more accuracy" said Natasha as she was just speaking from her mind, she found it better for more focus when you closed one eye.

"Hey, that is good idea, wait let me try it" said Tatiana as she smiled and she did not even wait for Natasha to reply as she turned back to face the target, she stood in her position and she positioned her gun to shoot as she closed one eye and she aimed for the right.

"You do know that you don't have to nail it now, take it slowly" said Natasha as she added that.

"Shush, shush, I know, need focus" said Tatiana as she shushed Natasha.

"Okay then??" said Natasha as she just kept quiet and let Tatian focus, because she really seemed to want be in focus mode.

Tatiana closed her right eye as she took aim and she pulled the trigger as her shot landed and she opened her right eye.

"I did it, I actually did it" said Tatiana as she could not believe it.

"That's great Tatiana" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oh thank you, thank you so much Natasha" said Tatiana as she looked at Natasha and she smiled.

"There is no need to thank me, I didn't do anything, you were the one that took the shot" said Natasha as she smiled.

"No, but you gave me good advice, so thank you" said Tatiana as she smiled.

"Well for that, you are welcome" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Hey you guys, what's up?" asked Olga as she smiled and she walked into the training room.

"Oh Olga, I finally didn't miss a shot, and all thanks to Natasha" said Tatiana as she looked at Olga and she smiled.

"Really?" asked Olga in surprise as she looked at Natasha.

"Yes really" said Tatiana as she smiled.

"She is overreacting, all I did was to tell her to close her eye so she would have more focus on the target" said Natasha as she smiled and Olga smiled.

"The Commander is coming" said Alexi as Natasha, Olga and Tatiana all turned to look at him as the others followed after him as they all got in line.

"Good Morning Everyone" said Romanoff as he walked in.

"Good Morning Commander" said everyone in a chorus.

"Alright, so this morning, we are going to focus on target hitting" said Romanoff as he sounded a little bit annoyed.

"And do take into consideration that what we practice here, will be essential during the physical training" said Romanoff.

"If you don't know what the physical training is, I will explain quickly, at the end of the month, you all will undergo a training drill to show how skilled you are, and how much you have improved" said Romanoff as he explained briefly.

"And that is all it is" said Romanoff.

"Now in this moment as we speak, the targets are being changed from circles, to a full body target" said Romanoff as everyone turned to look at the targets as there were people changing the targets quickly.

"As you will observe on the new targets, there are five red circles in different parts of the body" said Romanoff as he explained lazily, as if he as was giving a boring presentation, which he was, since he had said this many times.

"Those five circles are five critical points on the human body, points that you should avoid, or use when necessary" said Romanoff.

"The first critical point is obviously the head, the brain, anyone gets shot there, then they are dead instantly" said Romanoff.

"Really is nothing new or interesting, even little children know that hitting the head is very dangerous" said Romanoff.

"The second critical point is the chest, more specifically, the heart, one bullet to the heart, and you are dead" said Romanoff.

"The third critical point is in the forearm, if you shoot well enough, you can cause maximum bleeding from the arm, that if not treated quickly could lead to a slow, painful death" said Romanoff.

"The fourth, which is in the thigh, shoot it, and just like the arm, bleed slowly, causes immense pain, if the person is strong, they can still move, but the pain can be very, very painful, and it also gives you the chance to watch the cry of pain of your target" said Romanoff as he smiled.

"Mhmm, last point, in the foot, getting shot in the foot does seem unlikely, but that foot of yours has many nerves, and when damaged, can send high pain reports to the brain, and so it is also critical if not treated quickly" said Romanoff as he sounded bored by this explanation of his.

"Alright, move on to safety, when should you avoid these critical points? Well when you are training with your fellow agents, and I am looking at you Vicki" said Romanoff as he looked at Vicki and Vicki did not say anything.

"When can you use these critical points? When you have a target, and you need to get him or her at all costs, but do avoid using these points if you want to interrogate and get information, it is better to use your fists the old way for torture" replied Romanoff.

"But I digress, do you all get what I am saying?" asked Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" they all said.

"Good" said Romanoff as he did not want to have to repeat himself, especially not with that boring instruction training he had to give them, he was not a man of boring rules, but of action.

"Now, get to shooting, your mission is to hit all five critical points, whether accurately or not" said Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" said everyone.

"Alright, in this order, Kira, Rodion, Vicki, Olga, Nikolai, Alexi, Sofia, Artem, Andrei, Tatiana, and then Natasha" said Romanoff.

"Get on to it" said Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" said everyone as the rest of them walked to get prepped while Natasha and Tatiana stayed in their spots.

"Tatiana?" asked Romanoff as he looked at Tatiana.

"I was practicing Commander" said Tatiana as she smiled and Romanoff figured as much.

"And you?" asked Romanoff as he looked at Natasha.

"She asked me to help her" said Natasha.

"I see" said Romanoff.

"Kira, you are up first" said Romanoff as Kira nodded her head as Romanoff walked to the side to watch her as she got ready to shoot.

"Five bullets, five shots, if you miss no second chances, move to the next point" said Romanoff.

"Yes Commander" said everyone as they nodded their heads.

"Kira, shoot" said Romanoff as Kira nodded her head, she pulled the trigger as her bullet went straight for the target and she continued shooting until all her five bullets were gone.

"Hmm, not bad, aim is not bad, accuracy could be improved" said Romanoff.

"But overall not bad, I believe that you will improve with more practice" said Romanoff.

"Thank you Commander" said Kira.

"Hmm next" said Romanoff as Rodion went to the second stall as Romanoff walked behind him.

"Go on" said Romanoff as Rodion took his shots.

"Could be better, next" said Romanoff as it was Vicki's turn and she took her shots.

"Not bad, but I expect more accuracy from you, you have gone hunting before" said Romanoff.

"Next" said Romanoff as Olga, Nikolai, Alexi, Sofia, Artem, Andrei all went their turns.

"Tatiana, you are next" said Romanoff as he looked at Tatiana as she nodded her head and she got into shooting position as she closed her right eye and she took her five shots.

"Hmm, you improved" said Romanoff as Tatiana smiled.

"Thank you Commander" said Tatiana, she was so happy that at least her shots landed on the outer edge of the circles.

"Alright, Natasha, your turn" said Romanoff as Natasha nodded her head and she faced her targets as she took her five shots quickly in one moment.

"Impressive" said Romanoff as he smiled, Natasha had hit all five of the circles with accuracy.

"Wow" said Tatiana out loud as Natasha removed her earmuffs, she actually could not believe that she hit all the circles, she wasn't aiming for that at all, she just shot.

"First try, nice one Natasha" said Olga as Vicki scoffed, while everyone else agreed with Natasha, it was clear that she was skilled.

"Hmm" said Romanoff as he smiled, she reminded him so much of her mother, just like her Ivanka was not very good at combat at first, but give her a gun, and she could shoot in in difficult places that you could not even imagine.

Natasha was more like her mother than she realized, it was much more than just her looks, she was just like her so much, that Romanoff felt like he was watching her right now.

"Well everyone that concludes this exercise, if you want, you can train some more later, but first, you can all go for lunch, and after lunch, come back here, we have another exercise to carry out" said Romanoff as he snapped out of his thoughts.

"Yes Commander" said everyone as they nodded their head.

"I will see you after lunch time" said Romanoff as he walked away without wasting a single second, as if he had been bored here.
