Macaroni and cheese

"Have you had lunch yet my lovely niece?" asked Lulu.

"Yes I have, what about you aunt?" asked Joy smiling.

"I also had lunch with Benjamin." she replied.

"Oooh, what did you have for lunch?" Joy asked as Lulu carried her up the stairs.

"Well some chicken nuggets and fries. I got some from the mall when I went shopping." she Lulu.

"Ooooh, that sounds delicious aunt Lulu." Joy giggled.

"It was, what did you have for lunch sweetie?" asked Lulu as she walked into her bedroom and set Joy on her bed as she proceeded to change into something more comfortable.

"Well macaroni and cheese, which I didn't like but I had to finish it anyway because mommy says to never waste food." Joy said.

"That is true, I also hate macaroni and cheese. You know, when I was little, about your age, my mom made macaroni and cheese for dinner, and I don't know what happened, but I was just not in the mood to eat something I didn't like."

"So I got up, carried the bowl and dumped it on Dom's head." she laughed as Joy gasped.

"You did?!" asked Joy shocked.

"Yes, I did, I used to be so terrible stubborn and mean back then." said Lulu as she laughed.

"You know what, I was lucky I was the baby of the family or else I would have gotten punished, or worse, beaten." she laughed.

"So what happened?" asked Joy.

"Well, Dom was angry of course, he almost hit me, and looking back now, he should have. My mom just cleaned up the mess I made, and my dad asked that she make something else for me, which she did." said Lulu.

"You really got away with it aunt Lulu." Joy said, still looking incredulously. She could never imagine herself doing something so nasty and still getting away with it scot-free.

Even though her parent's rarely punished her, they would certainly discipline her if she acted so roughly.

"I truly did. Looking back now, if any of the boys had done that they would be beaten and punished, but I was just left to be." she laughed.

"I agree aunt Lulu, if I ever did such a thing, my mommy and daddy would be so angry." Joy said as Lulu tied her hair up in a ponytail after she changed into something more comfortable.

"Yeah, I truly was pampered, I still am, anyway, I used to be such an annoying sister, I have to admit." Lulu laughed.

"What do you mean used to? You're still a very annoying sister." she heard Dom say as he walked into her room. She had forgot to close the door behind her.

"Oh, ha, ha, who asked for your opinion?" she scoffed at him.

"No one did, you were just referring to a very common trait of yours as if it's no longer there when in fact it still is." he smiled.

"What are you even doing in my room? Aren't you supposed to be at work?" she asked him annoyed.

"My house, my rules, and also, I needed a break." he smiled.

"Anyway, what were you two talking about?" asked Dom as he looked at Joy who had been giggling watching her father and her aunt bicker like siblings did.

"Aunt Lulu was just telling about how she hates macaroni and cheese, and how when she was little like me she poured a bowl of it on your head." Joy giggled.

"Oh yeah, I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was so pissed Lulu, you were almost like a demon back then." he said as she hit him.

"Don't exaggerate, I just didn't want to eat it." she said.

"Then you could have said that instead of pouring it on my head, do you know how hot it was? My scalp was burning for almost a weak!" he said, all the emotions of that moment coming back. At that point in time, he wished that he had never gotten a sister.

"Oh that's just because you have a sensitive scalp, which Joy, my sweet niece luckily did not inherit." she smiled.

"It was that day that I stopped sitting next to you at the dinner table." said Dom as Lulu scoffed.

"I was so upset that mom and dad didn't even scold you or anything." he said.

"Perks of being the favourite child." she declared proudly.

"Oh please, if anyone's the favourite, it's definitely not you. All you have is baby of the family preference, that's different from being the favourite." he scoffed.

"No it's not!" she shouted.

"Yes it is!" he shouted back as they broke into a back and forth, Joy on the other hand was just giggling.

"What in the world is going on here?" Natasha asked.

"I can hear your voices all the way from my office." she said frowning.

"Mommy, they are arguing about who's the favourite." Joy giggled.

"Of course they are, well we non sibling children don't have to waste time arguing about that." she scoffed.

"Easy for you to say Natasha, you were of course your father's favourite, and even grandfather's favourite." said Lulu.

"Just stop arguing like two children." she said.

"Lulu here was just telling Joy of how she poured a hot bowl of macaroni and cheese on my head when she was little." Dom said as Natasha laughed.

"Oh I remember that day, you were so naughty, I can't believe you got away with it." she laughed.

"That's what I was telling Joy, I did deserve to be punished that day." Lulu laughed.

"You definitely were supposed to be. I remember that your scalp was all red, you had to cut your hair to check for any burns." she turned to Dom and laughed.

"Yes, and it was painful." he said frowning.

"I felt so sorry for you, and without your hair you looked so ugly." Natasha laughed.

"I know right... definitely the only thing that makes him handsome is his hair." Lulu laughed joining Natasha in ridiculing him.

"The two of you are just being mean for no reason. That was a very painful time for me, imagine a fifteen year old that still had to go to school with partly shaved hair since my scalp was so sensitive I couldn't cut all my hair. It was definitely very embarrassing." he said looking wrong.

"Yes, true, but you have to admit that you did look very ugly." said Natasha.

"Whatever, it's not funny." he frowned.

"Aww Dom, don't be sad, we still love you regardless." Lulu said giving him a hug as Natasha laughed, she still didn't love him anymore, but she definitely loved remembering how ugly he was.

"Yeah, you say that now but you're still going to continue insulting me." he said.

"That's what we do, we're siblings." Lulu laughed tickling him.

"You know that doesn't work with me." said Dom.

"Oh come on Dom, lighten up." said Lulu.

"I won't lighten up, let's all admit it, we'll all look ugly without hair." he said.

"Umm that's not true, remember when I some kid stuck gum in my hair in the tenth grade and it was so stuck in there that I had to shave off my entire head." said Natasha.

"That's so true, how did I forget that?" Lulu laughed.

"I have pictures from that time, they are probably at my dad's house, anyway, I totally rocked being bald and you know it." Natasha said proudly.

"*Gasp* Mommy, you were bald for a while?" gasped Joy as Natasha smiled and nodded.

"Yes I was, just for about three months or so. At first I was embarrassed, but after a while I realized that I actually looked good bald, unlike your daddy." she said laughing.

"Oh, ha, ha, very funny Natasha." Dom said not amused at all. At this point Lulu could not stop herself from laughing.

"I want to see a picture. I want to see a picture." said Joy.

"Oh, I would really love to show you a picture darling, but I don't have them right now. Maybe when I go over to my dad's house and search for them." said Natasha.

"Aww." said Joy disappointed.

"I think I have a picture." said Dom as he brought out his phone.

"Really?!" asked Joy surprised.

"Yes really." he replied.

"And if so, why would you have a picture so casually?" Natasha asked narrowing her eyes at him.

"Relax Natasha, mom decided to back up all our family pictures and videos to the cloud just in case something happened to the physical ones, and I was helping her upload them to the cloud and I came across one photo we all took when your head was shaved." he simply explained.

"Okay..." she said, still a little bit suspicious.

"Aha, here it is look." said Dom as he smiled and showed Joy the picture.

"Wow, mommy you look so young... and very pretty." said Joy as she gasped looking at the picture very lovingly.
