Chapter 2 : It feels good to pretend

It took at least two good minute for Rukia and Ichigo to came to themselves and for their brain to function again. After that Ichigo start to question him.

"Mi- Minato? Wh- What heppen ? Did you do that? Why are you so powerful? How can you be here, and are you a Shinigami too?"

Minato didn't even had the time answer that someone else question him again.

"No, his Reiatsu indicate that he is one hundred percent humain, but I've never heard of a humain so powerful. Furthermore the word you just said, and that strange blade in your hand... did you take the power of a shinigami too ?"

Hearing Rukia comment on his Fullbring both Ichigo and Minato were surprise but for different reason. Ichigo simply thought that Minato already enconter a similar situation as him before, but Minato was more surprise by the fact that Rukia didn't know about the Fullbringer. But after a moment he understood. In his memory shinigami start to really pay attention to Fullbringers only after Aizen and that was because of Orihime and Chad apparition in the Soul Society. In fact even before they knew of the fullbringers because Ginjo was the previous Substitute Shinigami. But when he defect they didn't actively search for him but just wait fro him to show himself. In fact the Gotei 13 didn't really think that fullbringers can have the strengh to make them take notice. Furthermore Fullbringer were very few in number and didn't show that their ability could be inherited like the Quincy so the Soul Society just didn't care about them. Beside from what Minato remember before Ishida appear Rukia didn't know about the Quincy. So for her not knowing the Fullbringer seem more reasonable.

Seeing the two waiting for an answer, Minato didn't let them hang up anymore.

"I'm not a Shinigami, I am a Fullbringer, a human who acquire the power to manipulate the soul of objects."

Saying that he took out and show them his kunai necklace who became a real kunai that look almost exactly like the one from Naruto, except that on the handle the words "Free" and "Protection" were written.

"When a Fullbringer has a high emotional connection with an objet, he can fuse a part of his own soul with the soul of the object transforming it into a powerful tool. Actually now that I think about it it's almmost like your Zanpakuto. As for your question Ichigo my house is next to yours, except for my mother who will never wake up after she sleep normal people would never ignore the sound that your collapsed house made! Beside I'm not yet such a bastard to ignore a family being eaten by Hollow in front of me."

While what he said was basically true, it wasn't really why Minato went out of his house, because he knew that Ichigo would be fine even without him. But Ichigo obviously didn't know that at all and he will certainly never tell him that. But with that he grreatly increase the feeling Ichigo had about him. After seeing the face of gratitude Ichigo show, Minato felt like his goal was accomplished and he didn't need to linger here anymore. Anyway from the begening they didn't need him, he was just here to show his face, act like he was that unremarkable neighbor who turn out to be a mysterious powerhouse in the known. Like that while they will have many question about him, when it will to come the provenance of his powers or the random power up that he will have in the future no one will doubt him.

"Well Ichigo and the Shinigami, now that the problem is solved I'm going to sleep. I have class tomorrow so bye." Saying that he prepare to return home but Ichigo stopped him.

"Wait! I... Thank you for your help tonight."

"Don't worry about it, and you don't have to thank me, because I can see that you didn't need my help at all."

Minato was actually very sincere when he said that. In his opinion as the protagonist every monster coming to him when in the novice village was simply experience point send to him for free.

"Even then thank you."

Hearing that Minato smile and shook his head but he didn't say anything anymore and left, leaving behind two people who encounter too much in a night.

Back to his room and finally at peace, Minato finally had the chance to properly sort out his gain from the Simulator. After some minute, Minato finally understood his reward. First of all the first reward, Reiryoku power : the first obvious gain was an increase in his Reiryoku. He didn't know how powerful he was but with the indication from the simulator he could guess that he was at least a lieutenant level in term of reiryoku. The other thing that he recieve in the Reiryoku Power reward was an Iron will obtain from the "fight" against Aizen and his Fullbring power {Kiiroi Senkō}. Because Reiryoku is essentially the power of the soul and it can be raise with your spirit so getting "Iron Will" and his Fullbring was normal. His Fullbring had a part of his soul and "Iron Will" was why his Reiryoku was so high.

Next was his second reward : Skills. For this one Minato feelt completly cheated : skills was actually the mastery of the knowledge he had in the simulation. The problem was, he didn't have most of those knowlegde so even if he knew how to apply them it would be for nothing. Fortunately he still knew most of the Fullbringers abilities from the manga so he could still use some of those skills, but for some power like {Kiiroi senkō} where he only the basic of the basic of his ability it could be a problem. Because he could feel with the Skills reward that appart from duplicating his kunai and teleporting between them; {Kiiroi Senkō} had other application but he didn't know them. Making it a bit akward. One of the advantage however is that it didn't help to control his Reiryoku.

'Fortunately I still have the possiblity to run another two simulations. This time my focus should be on my skills and knowledge on fighting, and the situation of the spiritual world more than anything. And if I could creating new skills'

Having decide, Minato once again turn his attention to the blue screen hanging in the air.

[ At the age of 15 you became a Fullbringer and discover that your friend is a Shinigami ]

[ After a little persuading from your friend, you agree to hunt hollow with him until one day after discovering that Orihime's brother was a Hollow you stopped hunting them ]

[ When you approach you noticed that he keep retraiting and don't reply to you. You found that strange, stop and take a good look at your "ghost father" ]

[ You discover that it's not your father but a Hollow disguise as him. You become angry so you fight him ]

[ During the fight you discover a terrible truth and almost break down and lose. Fortunately Ichigo came to help you and make the Hollow Grand Fiisher retraite ]

[ Because of this incident you started to hunt Hollow again ]

[ One day as you rest yourself inside dojo of the club the student started to attack you for no reason. Finding that situation strange you defeate them and want to investigate the cause of the matter ]

[ Because of that you notice that a large amount of Hollow appear on Karakura Town ]

[ Going out of the club you see Orihime awakening her power and defeat the Hollow controling the students ]

[ Wanting to save people you went out to hunt the Hollow while trying to investigate why they appear ]

[ You find that Uryu Ishida is the cause but you don't have the time to do anything because a Menos Grande is coming ]

[ With Kiiroi Senkō you tried to prevente the Menos from coming but you failed. fortunately Ichigo make him flee after an injury ]

[ One night you wake up sensing a burst of reiatsu. Arriving at the place you see Ichigo severly injured ]

[ Learning that Rukia was captured you go to the Soul Society with a team of friend. Even after losing you and your friend still succeed in your rescue mission ]

[ One day Arrancars appear on earth and kidnap Orihime. You and your friend went to the Hueco Mundo for the rescue. You finally won your first real battle and rescue Orihime ]

[ Back on Earth you fight against an old enemy and don't lose too badly ]

[ Stubborn and injured you still go to fight Aizen and you were crushed but you survived with a gift from the Hogyoku ]

[ After that you started to train yourself in almost a desesperate way. Your effort pays off. You were able to create a miracle and evolve your already complete Fullbring to a second form ]

[ One day you were invited by other Fullbringer to join their team you didn't agree but still became friend with them ]

[ After being betray by them and resolve the problem you went to train again ]

[ One day the soul society is attacked so you go to help them ]

[ One of the enemy try to make you doubt yourself but it doesn't work and you defeat her ]

[ Another one find you. You Explode. You died at the age of seventeen ]

[The Simulation is over, you can keep one of the following choice: ]

[ 1 : Reiryoku power at the age of seventeen ]

[ 2 : Knowledge at the age of seventeen ]

[ 3 : Experience at the age of seventeen ]

[ 4 : Skills at the age of seventeen ]

Minato didn't immediately made his choice but start to think about what he found on this simulation and he overlooked in the previous one : The Minato on the Simulation didn't have his meta knowledge at all! And now that he think about it it actually explain why that Minato does those choices.

After thinking about it, he didn't worry about it anymore. 'Anyway it's not the real me who does those things'.

Thinking that it was not big deal he started to concentrate on the reward and instantly got entangle with a problem : wether or not to chose one. For only one reason, the simulation itself said that I create a miracle with my Fullbring. Because he knew that after a Fullbring is complete it can't evolve or change anymore and even becoming more powerful is difficult which was also one the reasons why the soul society didn't worry about Fullbringers. Not only because when you form a complete Fullbring you had a high chance of dying during the process but also because contrary to Hollow and shinigami, after the fullbring was complete, making it grow more than that was impossible.

So for Minato to making it evolve was really nonetheless than a miracle. Thinking about it, Minato grit his teeth and chose one, because he wasn't sure that if he chose 2 even if aquire the knowledge of how to evolve his Fullbringer, he could do it again? So to be safe he choose one.

After making his choice, he felt his Reiryoku rise to half of the first time, but it was already a lot. Furthermore he felt that even if his Fullbring still looked the same, it somehow change a little, like there was an additional thing in it. Satisfied with it, Minato Prepare to make his last Simulation.
