A call from my past

Things returned to normal. Aside from the occasional look, David sends my way, generally, things were back to how it was before.

"What's this tantalizing scent I perceive?" David sniffed.

"Stop. You are acting like a dog."

"Only for you, love. Only for you." He nuzzled my neck and sniffed.

"Stop!" I giggle at his ministration.

"Why?"

"I'm ticklish!" I giggle as he continued, without stopping. It seems his life mission now is to make me die from giggling.

"Oh, you are?" He pretended as if he doesn't know that, already.

"The food will burn!" I giggle some more.

Thankfully, the tactics I decided to make use of, worked.

David stopped teasing me the moment I mentioned food. It was like a magic word to him.

"You can proceed with cooking. I won't disturb you at all."

"Better." I turned the pancake I was frying.

"Make sure you add more, I'm famished. I need to eat as much as I can."
