Stalking my mate

"Where are you going to?"

"To the town. I have an errand to run."

"I will take you there," he stood from the bed.

"It's alright. I would rather not inconvenience you."

"You ain't inconveniencing me, Daniel. I'm also going to the town, so I saw no reason for you to consider it to be an inconvenience."

"Oh."

How can I get him to drop his idea of taking me to the town?

I smile nervously, "I want to trek to town. You don't have to bother about me."

"It's not a bother. But Since you wish to trek—"

"Oh, yes! I do want to trek!" I clasp my hands together.

"Then, we will trek together. It's not a bother to me if you don't mind?" He raised a brow.

"Why should I mind?" I flash all sets of teeth at him, while all I wanted to do was to shout at the top of my lungs, at how unfair the world is.

"Let's go, then." He walked over to the closet, and changed his shirt, in favour of a tank top. "Let's go."
