The Merging Ceremony

I sat on the bench and watched the head of the Furry pack, converse with David.

The meeting room, that was large enough to size the members of my pack, couldn't contain everyone when the Furry pack joined.

The entire place was stuffy when they came in, that was why we are now sitting under the moon.

In some ways, it was for the best. After all, we are getting bonded with them, under the full moon.

Crys sat next to me on the bench, together with the children, while the others stood.

I felt guilty sitting down, but David assured me that it was okay.

He said I and the children won't join in the ceremony, so it was okay to sit and relax.

"Mummy said they will live with us in the pack. Don't you think the pack is too small to contain them?" Crys pouts as she watched them.

"It will."

There is enough allowance for the pack, should they care to join us. There won't be anything like a shortage of space.
