With the scream, Kai dashed out like a puppy. Beau walked out too after Nik gestured to him to go out.
"Should I tell you separately? Leave me alone!" She hissed. She had the worst day of life and upon that, the useless discussion made her breathless and angry.
"Tomorrow, we are going to meet my mother. So, we need to shop!" Nik said in the calmest and feeblest way possible.
Lili's shoulders dropped to hear that. "He doesn't allow me to visit my house but wants me to visit everyone." She murmured to herself. But she wanted to complete all the things related to her unwanted and so-called husband as early as possible and get back to her normal life. "Does she live in this city?"
"No!"
'God! How long should I travel to reach his mother? His father lives in the jungle; now where does his mother live? Why doesn't he confidently take and introduce Beau?' She sighed and nodded. "Fine! Let's go!" she lethargically walked to the entrance door. Like any ordinary girl, she doesn't have a purse or bag, so there was literally none to fetch.
As they went out of the room, Beau asked if he should accompany them. Lili instantly gave a glare at him, which made it clear to Nik that he shouldn't call him.
"Kai will go with us. You inform the mall to check the security and evacuate it." Nik said with a blank, straight face and followed Lili, who already dashed away after giving an enraged look at her assailant.
Kai gave a little bow to Beau and ran behind the couple.
On the way to the mall, the deathly silence made Kai and Nik restless. Though Kai was sitting in the front, he could feel the spiking coldness behind him.
"Thanks Mr. Wood, for taking Liliya to the hospital and helping her." Nik broke the silence. "You can directly talk to me regarding her security."
Kai could only nod. It was like a dream come true to speak to Niklaus Cooper. "Sure, sir! Sure!" he finally fumbled over those three words.
Lili bit her bottom lip to control her smile. Her stomach clenched and cheeks pained as she held the laugh for a minute. She knew that many treated Niklaus as celebrity, genius and the greatest person in the world. But it was the first time she witnessed someone struggle so hard to speak a few words.
As they reached the mall, which looked dead, "You do your shopping. I will pick up a dress for you based on my mom's taste." Nik told Lili. He wanted to give her the freedom and shop as she usually does, without being uneasy with him beside. Moreover, finding a dress that her mother's likes is a difficult task.
After an hour of countless trails and roaming around, Lili ended up choosing about 20-25 dresses and settled on a sofa. 'Where is he? Is he stitching himself?' Lili stretched out her legs and crossed her ankles.
"Mam, Jewelry?" A young girl reminded Lili that not only should she buy some basic jewelry, but also cosmetics and shoes. She wanted to, but her body wasn't supporting. She ate about 7 hours, that too not sufficiently. Her stomach was almost attached to her backbone.
"I will come next time, but can you tell Mr. Cooper to hurry up? Where's he?" Lili felt her stomach clenching. She pressed her lips and gulped, wishing that her stomach wouldn't embarrass her with a growl. She looked helplessly around to find Kai, who already had spent money on her than his limit.
She recalled how Kai, in secret, begged his sister for some amount to get his poor owner into a suite room.
"Mr. Cooper is here." the girl said and all the female staff who weren't active earlier jumped up as if taken an energy booster pill.
'Is that for me?' Lili widened her eyes over the plain, long and hideous dress in his hands. 'Did he roam an hour to bring this ugly dress?'
"Finally, I found a dress that covers the whole body!" he said, looking at Lili. His eyes were sparkling as if he achieved something. Lili, Kai and every staff member looked at him and that dress in utter confusion and shock.
"I didn't know that we have such a dress." the lady beside Lili murmured to herself a little loudly.
Lili, who was already controlling her laugh looking at the various expressions, blasted out. "Are you sure your mom will like this dress?" She inquired with a smile from ear to ear.
"Yes!" That single word from his straight face disappeared the grin on her face. He narrowed his eyes on the staff and dispersed or hid themselves from that piercing gaze. After keeping the staff in control, he looked back to Lili. The frown and poker straight face disappeared in a jiffy and was replaced with a smile. "And here is your card. Pay with this. Password is your birthday." Lili blinked at the sudden transition with awe. She gathered herself, took the card and handed it to the lady near her.
All three left the shop, with Kai carrying all the bags behind them.
"Why don't we have our dinner here?" Niklaus asked, and the next moment, Liliya walked inside, sat down and called out to the waiter.
Both the men's jaws fell to the ground to see the speed that Lili rushed into the restaurant. Before they could sit in the nearby chairs, Liliya ordered all the chicken dishes. As the waiter was about to go away, she called him. "Why didn't you take order from these men?" Lili cutely asked, which made the waiter's mind go blank.
"Fruit juice!" Nik said, as he was sure that the table couldn't occupy anymore dishes. And of course, his hunger would die by seeing Lili go fierce over the chicken's parts.
"Veg Sandwich and fruit juice!" Kai said, still wondering if the lean girl before him could digest the ordered food.
"Sure Sir!" The waiter ran to the cooking section at once.
