Shit shit shit shit darkness
My worst fear was darkness-well darkness and creatures like spiders, snakes and night butterflies.
But I absolutely hated darkness.
His phone suddenly started ringing and the small light coming from his screen lighted up the room a bit.
“Hello?”
I could hear Jake talking on the other end.
“Hey mate is your electricity out?”
“Yeah.”
“Shit, looks like the whole street is, if not the whole town.”
Jade’s voice was heard in the background, who said a faint ‘fuck the storm’.
“Alright well take care mate.” Jake continued and Nate just hung up, before his phone started ringing again.
He rolled his eyes and I clutched the skateboard to my chest, feeling my hair curling itself by the minute.
I ran a hand through my hair and almost had a heart attack when I felt pure tight curls on my skin. This just added to my anxiety.
Well a good thing came out of the darkness: nobody saw how I looked.
“What.” he answered rudely.
