Chapter 33

That wasn't the best time to talk to her Dad, as she was in the middle of something enormous. She ignored the phone and waited to be introduced.

"Ladies and gentlemen" The announcement began "We have a new being in our midst, she goes by no other name but Miss freckles".

The crowd began to cheer her, she couldn't hide the facial expression, since she was never asked about a name.

why on Earth would they give her such name?

As she stood elegantly and beautifully, she decided to do a quick scan, not sure of what she was looking for but she did find something anyways.

Melissa flinched, her heart began to beat faster than she could ever think of. Barely watching Williams seated beside her boss made her back crawl. Many discouraging thoughts began to invade her poor brain.

'What if he told Williams about her? What if he just came on his own and would recognize her! What if-? What if--?'
