The sound of her voice startled him but his grip on me never loosened , “mary , Genesis has been very .. very disobedient lately”. He says sluggishly “just trying to discipline her thats all” he grips my face making me wince “dont. Say. A word. “ he utters to me very clearly considering the fact he was indeed beyond drunk i nod complying obviously just so he could remove his dirty hands from over my face .

gotta pee “ she says , he looks at me and smirks one last time before removing his hand from my mouth , as he goes to unlock the door without thinking i grab the soap dish and smash it over his head causing him to lose consciousness almost instantly, seeing him lay on the ground i finally let out the breath of relief i didnt even realize i was holding
“JOHN ?! GENESIS !!? WHAT WAS THAT UNLOCK THE DOOR NOW !!” I snap back to reality unlock the door and immediately embrace my mother i wanted to feel safe , i needed too . “Genesis , oh my - what did you do ?!” She exclaimed seeming more concerned about him than me , she pushed me aside and rushes to his aide “john , john ?? Tell me what happened “ i stand in the doorway in complete shock of her actions . “Mom..” i say never making eye contact w her “he .. he tried to touch me” “what ?” My mom says in disbelief , john groans in attempt to defend his self , i take a deep breath close my eyes as i feel the tears slowly start to build up “ he came in the house drunk again.. he tried to touch me , he WAS going to touch me .. mom” .
