For the sake of his family, Ren embarked on the popular VRMMORPG, COVENANT, that used real-time in-game currency. But being a mediocre player who only knows how to gather information, he was put in a supporting role.

As the game explodes in popularity and every multibillion-dollar company invested in the game, things have turned for the worse for Ren. Due to the amount of information he gathered, the cheats, secrets, quests, and bugs he discovered, he was silent in fear of selling the information to the other guilds.

But given a second chance, he went back in time when his father was still alive and COVENANT was just in its starting phase.

This time . . . he wouldn’t be that guy on the side who gathered information from day in and day out for ten years.

As they made their way, Evie couldn't help but inquire of Ren, "How do we plan to access the Netherworld? Should we confront the princess directly and accuse Salister Kane of being a fiend?"

Evie might be paranoid, but she really couldn't shake off the bad feeling she was having at the mention of another princess NPC.

Ren shook his head and answered, "Directly accusing Salister without concrete evidence might make us seem like the fiends in her eyes."

In truth, Ren knew that he could access the Netherworld without Princess Lorelai's assistance.

However, if he aimed to open up the Heaven Realm as well, her cooperation would be essential. Besides, having the princess join their cause against Salister Kane would expedite their efforts.

"We're going to undertake a series of quests for Salister Kane to gain his trust and expose him," Ren explained.
