For the sake of his family, Ren embarked on the popular VRMMORPG, COVENANT, that used real-time in-game currency. But being a mediocre player who only knows how to gather information, he was put in a supporting role.

As the game explodes in popularity and every multibillion-dollar company invested in the game, things have turned for the worse for Ren. Due to the amount of information he gathered, the cheats, secrets, quests, and bugs he discovered, he was silent in fear of selling the information to the other guilds.

But given a second chance, he went back in time when his father was still alive and COVENANT was just in its starting phase.

Meanwhile, Leonel, Roz, Isolde, and Avaris, with the still sleeping Lethargia, continued their journey through the eerie landscape.

"Are we going the right way?" Leonel asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "We've been traveling along the stream for quite some time now, and I'm starting to get dizzy with all the swirling pathways in here."

Avaris shrugged nonchalantly, his confidence unwavering. "No worries, first-timers are really prone to dizziness after venturing inside the stream. But rest assured, we're on the right track."

Isolde glanced around at the barren surroundings, her expression one of mild discontent. "There is nothing here but dead trees and more dead trees."

"This place is creepy," Roz muttered under his breath, his gaze darting from tree to tree.
