CH1: CALAMITY OR BLESSING

DATE: 22-11-2002 PLACE: EARTH

On full moon night there were rain clouds all over the city and thunder started rumbling and concentrated on the public hospital like god of lightning is giving a visit.

1 HOUR IN PAST

Inside the hospital, First hallway a man looking like he is 25yr, have a concerned look, he asks a nurse passing by, "will she be okay" nurse answered in tired way " this is not the first time a woman is giving birth and screaming in pain, thats normal "

"but its first time for her" he says "please relax mr jigya nothing bad will happen, doctor is very experienced he can handle any situation" she said and leave afterwards.

After walking for sometime in corridor, man sat on a chair outside the ward in which his wife is admitted, as the time of delivery is getting closer, frequency of sceams increases , he starts panicking everytime he hears her sceam (because he has been kicked out of the room for asking too many questions and disturbing doctor during his work) , but he endures all the mental pressure while his wife have to face physical pain.

Being a religious person he started praying" oh god i have always believed in you, please help my wife in enduring pain"

on the same time a strong wind blows, he saw a old man in black cloth having a white beard, short hair with a smile on his face , its like time has stopped, when he saw the unkown man smiling while passing by him, he asked him in anger " what so funny" "how can you smile when everyone else is in pain"

He turn towards him facing each other he smiled brightly, seeing that smile sudden chills went down his spines, he is now somehow started feeling a little relaxed but on next moment he screamed furiously " Are you mocking me" " why would I mock you , I don't known you and don't have any reason to hate you" he said in a calm voice. " Then why are you smiling, when someone is crying in agony" " Its because you are praying to a god, who can't hear you" old man said without any emotion

he says " god can hear everything " in disbelief , " they can hear all the cries of his believer" " Even if you think he can hear you, what if he can't " he said sadly " There are many beings on this planet, for a guardian all the children's are equal do you think he can attend every one of them" " Do you think gods can interfere in birth of a child , a process as natural as this where a new life is born in universe"

" can you think how gods feels when they hears believers cries and can't interfere"

After hearing those words , he was astonished and started calming down , after a moment he saw the old man walking away, when the old man reached the end of corridor as he turns towards the exit he looked at the young man and smiled , but this time young man was shocked because he can feel eternal sadness in his smile and suddenly a tear fell from the left eye of the old man, seeing this he speaks loudly " stop old man what happened"

When he reaches the end of the corridor that old person was gone he asked the guard at gate of hospital " did you see the old man who just passed through here, he had white beard and black clothes, where did he go"

Guard answers in confusion " which man only nurses have passed through this gate in last half hour" " are you drunk"

Man was confused and started thinking that he is going crazy because of tension, but his mind got diverted due to arrival of his big brother, his brother asked "are you okay" "yes" he said " What about your wife " he said "she is in labor pain and doctor has estimated delivery within a hour".

After some time rain clouds gathered all over the city but not a single drop of rain has fallen, thunder started lightning all over the city , slowly converging towards the public hospital, at exact time of midnight all the thunder has gathered all over the hospital like gods indra is visiting the hospital, strong wind started blowing , in a beautiful full moon night, its like nature is celebrating something.

Meanwhile inside the hospital a baby boy was born , father of the child who was waiting outside the room finally has the permission to enter the room, nurse who just came out of the room said " congrats a baby boy is born"

He was about to enter but suddenly all the thunder fall on the hospital , but luckily hospital has a lighting rod, very few people were able to see this phenomenon including jigya family because it was midnight and mostly everyone was asleep , this wasn't recorded in camera because they were really expensive at the time and very few people can afford it , phones only have one feature called calling.

when jigya family who were near the hospital saw this , they started running towards the hospital in panic because thats where there son and his pregnant wife is.

Inside the hospital, when the man tries to enter the room a shock wave of thunder caused a small quake inside the hospital and all the equipment working on electricity stopped , all the lights went off.

In the dark room a old doctor was the only one present in the room, he saw a ball of white light coming through the ceiling going towards the baby , and it entered the baby through his chest it goes through his skin in the part where the heart should be, without harming him in the slightest , suddenly the baby started glowing, doctor was the only one witnessing it because mother was unconcious after delivery and only nurse with him is gone to inform the father of the baby.

Doctor didn't believed his eyesight so he removed his glasses and wipe them with a clean cloth, put them on again, now the radiating light from the childs body is gone, he says " he just a normal child " " but what was it, am i daydreaming " " lets not tell anybody else beacause they will think i am going senile due to old age and reccomend me for retirement"
