James arrived at the hospital at around ten that night. Getting into his wife's ward, he saw his daughter fast asleep beside her mother while her friends took the floor.
He had never seen someone so faithful like her friends. To him, it was an irony that his daughter's friends could stay with her at such a hard time unlike his own blood sister who disowned him shortly after she got married.
James took his seat on the single chair sofa. He bought out the contract from the brown envelope and started to go through it.
He felt no matter how true and reasonable the professor's words were, he still needed to go through it because if anything happened, he was the one who would be on the losing side.
Few hours after going through the contract, he could now sum it up in his head. He could point out that the contract was solely for his own benefit and not that of the professor.
