First Spirit Skills

After entering the magical space, one could see multiple immortal herbs that were being grown here, some were even extinct.

While Tang hao and Tang San were amazed by the magical space, Tang Yin explained to them how the moat protected the immortal herbs and some of the spirit plants here from the spirit beasts lurking outside. For the next week, Tang Hao stayed in the magical space, looking at the cultivation of the plants. He could see it progressing by 100 years a week while some were much more to 500~600 years per week.

During this time, Tang Hao didn't just watch the plans all the time, he also started training Tang San in some of the techniques for the hammer, while he taught Yin the same technique except he adjusted some things for it to be practiced on the staff.

Tang Hao only gave her the skill with some changes, but she had to polish the skill by herself, while Tang San already had a polished skill and only needed to practice it. Tang San felt some pity for her, so he often helped her develop the technique. At this moment they were both learning the simplest technique that even normal spirit masters had access to, not Clear Sky Sect's techniques.

As even though the techniques were stronger, their spirits were just awakened and to execute those powerful skills, they needed not only knowledge of their spirit, and abundant soul power, but also a strong physique. Out of the three criteria, both barely passed the latter criteria.

...

Tang San and Yin were practicing against each other, while their father was meditating near the core of the spirit region.

He suddenly stood up.

Tang Hao- I've decided, I'm gone for two weeks you can continue practicing.

Both Tang San and Yin nodded.

Tang San looked somewhat confused about where he was going, but Tang Yin knew he was going to get their mother, Ah Yin who had converted back to a blue silver grass with its cultivation lost.

...

Tang San and Yin had already practiced for another week and a half and were somewhat confident in going to the forest. So, both headed across the moat and entered the lush green forest for their first spirit ring. Both Tang San and Tang Yin were confident in getting a 1000 year spirit ring as their first spirit ring, because of the physique they possessed.

One had to know that after a few years of the herbs, Tang San and Yin's body was already comparable to a low Grand Spirit Master. So, they both wanted to get their first spirit rings on their Blue Silver Grass.

After a few hours of walking around their forest, Tang san came across a 1000 year Datura Snake and chose it as his first spirit ring.

Tang Yin devised a plan, Tang Yin would distract it for a while, with her staff, while Tang San will wait for an opportunity and sneak attack.

Tang San was initially against it at first, but then she reminded him that she could stand toe to toe with him during their practice match earlier, so she appeared in front of the spirit best immediately.

The Datura snake immediately spat green poison from its mouth, to which Yin responded by throwing her fan which blocked the poison.

In her week of experimenting with her spirit, she found that if she used more soul power, she could increase the effects of the fan and increase its size, which could be used as a defence. However, the plant was currently brittle, so Yin currently wanted to increase its defence.

Seeing the poison not work, the Datura snake charged forward with all its might and it let go of its defensive stance, so Tang San came out of the bushes and immediately when the Clear Sky hammer hit, the Datura Sanke's body-slammed a nearby tree, and it died.

Tang San quickly came over to Tang Yin if she was okay, and she said she was fine. Tang San walked over to the Datura Snake to absorb the spirit ring, and he felt a surge of gentle wind hit him, and it was Yin's fan. He gained his optimal condition and absorbed the spirit ring. It took him half an hour before he was done. He came over to Tang Yin who was guarding her, and when he showed her his spirit rings, he and Yin were shocked as the colour of the spirit ring wasn't purple, but instead yellow. However, Tang San noticed that while the ring was yellow, the effects were still of a thousand-year ring, thus this was a blessing as it won't attract any unwanted attention to them.

Tang Yin asked, "What is your first spirit skill?" To which Tang San responded not by telling but by showing. "Bind" Immediately the blue silver grass sent out countless Blue Silver Grass strands vines to wrap around a tree and bound it. If the target was able to move, it would bind the target, immobilizing them. The scariest part was that the vines of Blue Silver Grass that bind the target had increased durability under the effect of this skill. Thus it would take even a Spirit grand master some time to escape its bind.

After showing his spirit skill, Tang Yin said, "It's time for me to get my spirit skill now."

...

The duo ventured into the forest a little bit further and came across many spirit animals but Yin didn't want them.

Until a screeching noise was heard.

When they arrived at the scene, they saw a turtle with 2 heads that were greatly injured as well as a fox with 2 tails, that had died.

Tang Yin looked at Tang San and nodded indicating that she wanted the beast.

Tang San looked with a concerned face. "Are you sure? It seems to be almost 4000 years."

"Don't worry, I got it."

Seeing the confident look on her face, he knew that she would not back down. Since the Turtle was heavily injured, the fight did not last long. This time, because the beast was heavily injured to the point where it was about to die at any time, Tang Yin was able to defeat it in one go.

Tang Yin quickly sat down and absorbed her spirit ring. The ring was absorbed by her in an hour, and she had felt some pain during this process, Tang San seeing this was nervous but he couldn't do anything. If he stopped her now, it would do more bad than good, so he could only wait.

The spirit ring appeared, and yes, it was yellow again, but the effects were of a 3800 Ditigo turtle.

After absorbing the spirit ring, Tang San scolded her for almost biting off more than she can chew, but he then asked her to show her spirit skill.

A fan appeared and it had more runes, and the golden rivet (on the stem; where all of the sticks attach) of the fan grew a little bit more.

Diverge.

Yin flapped her fan this time and it flew towards the tree broke into 7 parts of the fan each fan had the defence of the turtle's shell and the attack power of its mighty teeth. The 7 parts of the fan hit the tree and were about 10 centimetres in the trunk.

Tang Yin was shocked, not only was it her first time practicing, but she also only used a little bit of soul power, if she increased her soul rank, and gained mastery of the skill, then this would turn into a powerful skill.

Tang San was also shocked, not only at the might but also at the fact that she was using the Blue Silver Grass as an Attack Type soul even though it seemed to have benefits of Support-type.

...

Both had left the forest as it was getting dark and came outside of the magical space. when Tang Yin returned to the house from her magical space, both Tang San and Tang Yin were hit by someone and hit the side of the house. They both spurted blood from their mouth, and when they looked at who it was, they saw a man who looked in his forties and had a crooked nose, and had murderous intent towards them. He had a mask on his face, but there was a "Spirit" emblem on his white uniform, Tang Yin said, "It's someone from the Spirit Hall!"

Tang San looked at him and saw 4 soul rings, "Spirit Ancestor!"

This was going to be a tough fight.
