The continuous rain on it's shower on the city, in the cold lonely streets, a wept of sorrow and despair flowed to his cheeks, his eyes ruby eyes that shimmers on the light of day now turns dark, the scarlet eyes that was once a ruby of happiness currently becoming darker and darker, he cried and cried as the rain goes with his cry silencing him in the midst of the rain his tears shadowed by the sound of rain never to be noticed by anyone because how come you notice a crying man when his tears are hidden from the rain's water, he aimlessly walks around the city alone, some people look through the glass wall in the restaurant, they feel empathy to this boy, some were gossiping even some wanted to come to him but they can't. The world turned against his back taking his most dearest to him in an instant event that would hurl his world upside down, his heart aches, his eyes woken from sleepless nights when he thinks of the past his eyes would tears endlessly till morning, he mourns to his lover whom died in a car accident, his name is Zen Clevhilt.
Why? Why did the world took her to me? Did I do wrong things to people? I've done my best in my whole life do I not deserve happiness? Am I cursed bastard? How can I continue? I want to cry… my heart aches so much that I can't think straight… I look at the darkened clouds showering their own kind of tears…
"Oh spirits of the world do you really exist?" I blurted seeming to find hope, can they resurrect her? Please hear my prayer… "If you spirits can resurrect her please do" I laughed " how…how can they even resurrect her when I don't even worship the spirits…but I want my heart to be at ease it's painful having this in my chest…felt like I want to die without her in my life" I cried.
Can I just hold her one more chance? Can I see her one last chance? Oh gods and spirits can you hear me? Although it's selfish of me but please I beg you give her back.
Zen did this for three days straight after her death a week ago, his mother goes to his apartment every once in a while to check on him, she worries constantly as she would as a mother, Zen goes home in drenched clothes, his mother gasped from what she saw, a depression caused by love and the stress it gives she felt it.
"Oh my, Zen why are soaking wet?!"
She tends to him in every way she can, Zen bathes in the bathroom as she cooks meals for him after fresh bath, she eats with him.
"So how is it? Is it to your taste?
He didn't speak, he looked down, her eyes was filled with worry yet a smile appeared from her and she stands up, she hugged him tight patting the head of her handsome son.
"It'll be okay you can do this"
He cries to her gentles arms, holding her tight, he couldn't keep up anymore, his tears again flowed to his cheeks, his mother wipes it off of him, the care of his mother was heartwarming he showed his weak side but it's not weak or fragility because once in a while tears should flow from the heart even if it's painful.
"It's hurts" sniffle "I can't do it anymore"
This kept on happening until three weeks have past he stays in his apartment, skipping school every now and then, he sometimes watches the clouds move on the tallest skyscraper, going to his lover's grave as he pays no attention to anyone but to himself.
The sole sister of Zen has the name Mia Clevhilt while her mother is named Clara Clevhilt the wife of Marcus, although they are not successors to the magic but they do know of the past magic that was handed down the downside is that they don't have mana circuits on their body being unable to use magic only special humans can be blessed by mana circuits only a few selected by the world, their shrine is also known for curing people of their sickness so they're quite known by the public.
"How is Zen doing Mom?"
Asks this girl who was the little sister of Zen, she has pinkish cheeks, red eye to the left and blue to the right, has twin pigtails, dressed in a gothic dress, a petite young body, they were both sitting across her mother and she in the office of the chairman the husband of Zen's mother.
"It's the same as always oh and thank you for helping your father since your elder brother is on a situation he can't handle yet"
"Falling in love then his lover dies at an accident, did someone planned this or not?"
"There seems to be no suspect on that, but they found there is no driver on the truck"
"EH?" she widened her eyes "But how could that be?!"
Her mother shook her head.
"That's so strange…if so then a mage is responsible? Did you ask Grandmom about this? Did she sense a trace of magic?"
"No she didn't"
"What?!"she stood not believing the story as she find it shocking that her grandmother one of the last mages of the world could not even sense a trace of magic "How in the world could this happen…Did you already told elder brother about this?"
"Not Yet… he doesn't need to know"
Sigh "I guess so" sitting back to her chair.
"I wonder who could cast a spell that cannot be detected?"
"Who knows mom it might be an entity we don't know, or it might be one of the spirits…oh about them … you know who"
Her mom giggled "They're fine but it seems to worry since it's raining"
"Ahhh you mean one of the four from my uncle's care?" Her mother nodded.
