Trial of the Bloods

Alice wasn't sure where the Bruch family was based, but she thought it wouldn't be impossible to find the branch first and find a way to ask for the location of the headquarters in the name of Lestat.

That night, however, she had just spent the day riding in a car ready to stay in a normal town when she came face to face with two vampires.

She could smell their vampire scent so clearly that she paled and turned to walk away.

However, her hopes that they would not realise she was a werewolf were dashed. They had come for her, darted over and grabbed her, not giving her a chance to struggle, and taken her straight to a car.

Alice was still a bit confused when she was tied up and thrown into the car.

They ... seemed to be targeting herself, didn't they? Otherwise, I'm afraid that when they encountered a werewolf vampire, they would have just killed her, so why would they have bothered to tie her up?
