1 On 1

*At a hero meeting 3 months before school started*

"Sin!". Sin turned around to see Daycloak walk over. Her once dark and purple outfit now consisted of a bright yellow cloak with a sun on the back of it. "Akari, good timing, this meeting won't start by itself!". The two heroes walked into a large room and to both of their surprise, Pitch Black was standing in the center of the place. "Sin, Daycloak, great timing! Now my presentation can begin.".

The heroes all sat down as Pitch started. "Now, as you may know our world is changing rapidly. Even though heroes are very common nowadays.... Balance in power has shifted. Most people with Skills are heroes, and evil is nearly extinguished besides villains such as myself. Which is why, I'd like to propose an offer to you all, as this is the final obstacle in my way.".

He puts down a poster and in large bold red letters it read: Alpha Villain High School.

"Alright class!" Ms. Rein said happily. "It's been a decent 3 weeks so I believe it's time for your first test!". The class groaned and Nathan said "It was bound to happen sooner or later.". Their teacher then said "Fortunately, this test will be physical rather than mental. However,". They went out to a large arena, and saw a bunch of students glaring at them. "You will be fighting 1 on 1 against the 30 unique villain course students of Alpha Villain High School!".

Nathan looked at them all and thought 'What the heck is going on?!'. "Pitch Black, Sin, and Backstab shall explain the rules!". Pitch and Sin enter the arena and they both stretch. Backstab spoke saying "There will be 5 minutes in between each match. 1 person from each will fight, until one taps out or is unconscious. If a match goes too far, then I will be forced to step in and stop the match.".

Ms. Rein looks at a list of students from both schools and says "The first fight will be: June Ty VS Laura Hunter.".

June looked ahead of him to see a girl who had blue hair up in a ponytail, 5'10, black sweatpants with a blue tank top, and cream colored skin. Her eyes were unique, as the right eye was red and had a plus in it, and the other a blue minus. She also wore a utility belt with 2 yellow pouches on it. "Emperor scorpion, am I right?" She said smirking. "BEGIN!". June ran up to her and swung his tail.

Before his stinger could connect, a nail hit the armor on his tail, knocking it away. "What?!". A bunch of nails and screws went past him. She girl then made her left eye glow blue, and the nails came spiraling back. After he dodged she smiled and said "Poor little scorpion, now what would an actual hero do?".

Skill- Magnet

The two sides of her body act as magnetic poles, the right to attract, and the blue to deflect. Though both can be used in the same way.]

She ran up to him and punched him with her right arm, sending a red wave of energy all over him. He looked up and all the metal objects in the area stuck to his body, weighing him down. She then yawns, flicking her finger, sending him high into the air. As he was coming back down he yells "TAP OUT!". She then stops him before he hits the ground. She snaps her fingers and says "There, the magnetism should be deactivated now.".

All the metal comes off his body and he says "For someone with a skill like yours, you have amazing control over it!". She sighs and says "Yeah, if you'd taken time to not think more about your brawn, you might have stood a chance.".

"The second match is: Zora Dark VS Damian Clay.".

"This match will be interesting." Pitch said. "If his intelligence doesn't decide the match, his skill sure will.". Damian in question had pale white hair, was 5'9, light blue eyes, pale skin, and he was wearing a black trench coat, with gray sweatpants. "You, a villain? I think a homeless person fits your description better!" Z said determined. "Funny, that's exactly what one of my classmates said!". He replied.

Z immediately sent out a wave of smoke in an attempt to knock him out, but surprisingly he committed the same actions in exact sync. Z swung one arm, he swung one arm. She sent a wave of smoke, he sent a wave of smoke. "This fight won't end as long as I'm standing. Or really, I should say while you're standing.".

Skill- Mirror Match

Whenever he can see his opponent, he can do the same actions as them to complete synchronization, even using their skill as their own as if he was a mirror.]

Z smiled and said "I get it now, your skill allows you to copy your enemy huh?". He nodded and says "Yes, so you might as well give up now! You can't defeat a villain such as myself!". He then tried to use the smoke again.... But nothing. "W-what?! Where's that power I had?!". Z laughs and said to him "So you see, about my skill.". She pulls something out of her pocket and starts eating a bar of some sort.

"My power requires a specific kind of fuel to work, in this case being....". Pitch looks at her hand and says "Is she eating...!" Pitch says shocked. "Tobacco leaves!". She releases an entire cloud of smoke, knocking him unconscious.

While they are getting ready for the next match Ms. Rein goes over to her and says "Z, as impressive as that was, take it easy with the smoke next time.".

"Fight three: Nathan Gray VS Victoria Shade."

Victoria had bright red hair in bangs, almond skin, orange eyes, 5'11, and a red short sleeve with red shorts. She had two cat ears on her head, and a long red tail. "Must be nice to be the son of the number 1 villain! So I'll make sure that you know what that means to me!". He looked puzzled and started sparking. He ran up to her, and swung his fist. She dodges out the way and sends a punch towards him.

He dodges as well, and jumps back to get some distance. She smiles at his sparking and punches her fist into her palm. Nathan breathes in and changes his hands to be slightly bigger, covered in fur, and does the same to his feet. "How cute, mind if I try?". Her ears get a bit larger, her arms get covered in fur and gain huge claws, and her feet also do the same. Her eyes turn cat-like, and her teeth get sharper.

Blazing hot fire seeps off her hands and she says "Say hello to my Skill bunny boy!".

Skill- Burn Panther

She can use all the abilities of a panther, and can create blazing hot flames.]

'I am regretting my recent decisions!' He thought. She sliced at him with flames, until he got an idea. He rapidly sped up his body, to the point it looked like she was in slow motion. He was about to hit her when he noticed something.... Her ears were twitching as if agitated, and it was then that he came to the realization.... She wasn't fazed. "About time you noticed~". She turned around and blazed towards him, leaving a red streak of heat in her trail.

For the next few minutes, it was just a red and turquoise blur constantly trading blows of lightning and fire. "Who's winning?!" Sin asked. "I- I don't know! They're moving too fast!" Pitch said. Both of them then went to opposite ends of the arena, and made a straight line towards one another. And when they collided, a shock wave of fire and electricity went all over the place, knocking out the power. "Who won?!" Backstab said as they went down into the arena.

All they found, was both of the students unconscious.

It might not seem like much, but this chance encounter, would change the fate of them both.
