When the lady looked up at the villain.... She panicked. "AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" She yelled. "The fuck is this! What am I?! I feel like Quake, so how do I got electricity like Jackrabbit?!". She looked herself up and down and said "Okay, calm down. We.... I have a villain to defeat!". She turned to see the villain was gone, and heard the two mentors coming back. Glass Weaver and Hyper Speed looked through the smoke to see the new person just standing there.

"Okay.... So let me get this straight.... Your Nathan and Kate?" Hyper Speed asked. "But at the same time, you're not?" Glass Weaver finished. The new girl turned to look at them and said "Yes.... It's weird I know, I can sense both of their powers, but It's not really coming out. So I'm technically a fusion of both?". Hyper thought for a moment before snapping his fingers and saying "Kaitlin!".

"Huh?" The two said at the same time. "It sounds like both of their names, so Kaitlin will be yours!" He said acting like he was clever. "Alright fine, I accept my new name! Now I'm gonna go find food!". She turned on her heel, but before she left Glass Weaver grabbed her wrist and said "Oh no you don't young lady-". She snapped at her and said "Bitch I'm 21, I don't know how I know that, but I just am!".

Weaver scoffed and said "Yes, well you're not leaving here or else!". At that moment both of Kaitlin's eyes turned mostly pink and she said "Oh, what will you do to me if I don't behave~". Both the heroes were both shocked and embarrassed, realizing to late that she'd shifted through the wall. "She- she just- Good lord! Nathan and Kate combined have some.... Tactics...." Glass Weaver said fanning herself off.

"That was so fun! Messing with the two of them felt great! I like being me!" Kaitlin said walking away from the building. Her eyes changed back to normal and she stopped. ".... I don't want to go back yet.... I don't want to be THEM yet! We'll stay like this awhile, and then I'll split!" She said hugging herself. She then smelled smoke, and turned to see the villain from earlier before.

"Well, well, well.... It appears my eyes don't deceive me! I wonder how Necrodrift would react to such an amazing specimen like you?". Kaitlin's eyes turned mostly turquoise, and she said "Please, reconsider this! I don't want to hurt you!". The villain just smiled and said "Call me Burnout, and darling, do you really think a monster such as yourself has a chance?". Kaitlin's eyes changed back to normal and she said "Monster?".

Kaitlin laughed and then said "I like that. In which case, you can call me Knockout!". All of a sudden, a black jumpsuit, covered in metal spikes appeared on her body, and she got a pink set of goggles.

"So how do we find them?!" Glass Weaver asked. As if on command, a large burst of lightning appeared.

Ghost Out allows her to move through solid objects, and Body Shift allows her to shape her arms and legs into weapons.]

Burnout was thrown into a wall, as the fusion changed her hand back from a hammer. "You are SO weak! I can't believe I had trouble with you before this!" Knockout said disappointed. Police cars pulled up and officers stepped out. "Aw, our playtime is over already!". She grabbed a hood on the back of her suit and put it on, going through the floor.

When she came back out, Glass Weaver and Hyper Speed were waiting. "Hello again." Hyper Speed said.

*4 hours later*

"Oh Piper Speed~" Kaitlin said waiting. Hyper Speed walked over to her and said "You're lucky I don't hit girls!". Kaitlin smiled and said "Me neither! See, we have SO much in common! Both of us are strong, fast, and talented! So just WHY is this so hard for you to understand? I don't wanna leave, and you wouldn't let a vulnerable and defenseless girl like me stay against my will, would you?".

Hyper Speed looked at her and said "1. That's why I tied you up, 2. You can't phase through power-cuffs, and 3. Bitch we're nothing alike!". Kaitlin sighed and said "So what are you doing?". Hyper put down a marker and said "I'm trying to figure out how to split you in half, without killing you. And from what I gathered, if I vibrate at the right frequency, I should be able to split you in half!".

He backed up and got a running start. He ran full speed at the fusion and went through her. "*GASP* Okay, that's why I don't go through people!". He heard a grunt and looked down to see he was holding Nathan. "Ow.... I feel weird, and the room won't stop spinning.... Wait, I have my body!" He said. "Nathan.... Why is the ceiling getting closer to my face?" Kate asked.

"Welcome back to the world of the living you two! Do you uh.... Remember anything?". Nathan helped Kate up and she said "Yeah.... And I hate and love her at the same time! She's a badass, but also a jerk.". Nathan looked at Hyper Speed and said "Burnout mentioned a name.... Necrodrift I think it was?". Hyper Speed went pale and said "Are you sure?". Nathan nodded and said "Yeah, sounds like a villain. You know him?".

".... I need to go." Hyper Speed said running off as Glass Weaver walked in. "Necrodrift.... Why was Hyper Speed so bent about that name?" Kate asked. "Well you see, Necro did more than just ruin things for Hyper.... He was the one who took down his former teacher.".
