Hero Gala

"N.... Nathan, I'm not gonna make it....". "Don't say that Natasha, this is our greatest challenge yet!". A game over screen pops up and Natasha says "I told you I wasn't gonna make it!". "Well that was before you got shot! So close to the boss too!". The two turn around to see Tamara walk in holding the bridge of her nose. Nathan looked at her and said "You good mom?". She looked at him and said "Just dragging two idiots through the front door. Which reminds me, I need you two to join me with team POINT for a little party.".

"You're telling me we've been invited to the world's largest and most guarded hero event in the world?!" Kate said excited. "Yep, the World Heroes Gala! Every hero on the planet is invited, making it the largest party on earth. And it's only held once every year!" Nathan responded. "Now with that being said Natasha, do you have any dresses?" Aura asked her.

Natasha thought for a moment and said "What's a dress?". All the girls on the team turned their heads so fast their necks might've broken. "What? Did I say something wrong?". James, June, and Nathan all backed up. "Nathan, we're just going to borrow your sister for the next few hours! We'll be back~" Z said throwing Natasha over her shoulder. "Brother help!" She said getting carried away.

Nathan turned to the boys and said "Alright boys, time to go and get ready to party!". As he was walking off he stepped in some sand and said "Huh, sand...." He then walks off not paying it any mind. Unknown to him, the sand then shifts away. A boy who's 5'8, white hair, a long-sleeve with a collar that goes around his mouth, and mocha colored skin, looks around a corner at them. His sand colored eyes stare them down, and he says "Perfect.".

A few hours later, June, Nathan, and James are waiting at his house. "When's your sister getting back, I wanna see what the hell the girls put her through!" June said impatiently. They then hear the girls walk over and Nathan said "What did you do?!". "Oh calm down!". They all turned to see Natasha walk over wearing a purple dress with bright colored jewels all over it. Her hair looked freshly combed and she was wearing purple lipstick.

The boys were all stunned to say the least. James looked at Nathan and said "How the fuck does she look so good?!". "Aye! That's my sister dude!".

After they all got dressed up, at 7 pm, they arrived. Tamara looked at them all and said "Alright, I've only got one request for tonight: Don't make me have to do hero work! Besides that, I'm gonna go find Weaver and then get drunk!". They all walked in and and Nathan said "Alright, you heard the lady, don't fuck up!".

*1 hour later*

"*SLAM* Another round!" Tamara said having a drinking match with.... Z. "Keep trying old lady, you won't beat me that easily!" She said to her. From a distance, Natasha was talking to Kate and Aura. "So how come you didn't know what a dress was?" Aura asked her. "Oh, well when I was still living with my father-". She stopped for a second and said "When I was still living with that villain, I wasn't really able to do what girls my age normally did, so I honestly had no idea what a dress was.".

They kept talking until one of Natasha's rabbit ears twitched, and they both shot up. "Natasha?" Kate said watching her ears turn towards a back exit. "We're being watched. Follow me, I might need backup.". They all walked out of the exit to see a bunch of sand leaving the door, going over to one specific area where it took the shape of a person. "Alright, what's the plan?" Aura said to Natasha.

Natasha ran out of their hiding place and sent a punch at the figure, and a giant hand made of sand caught it. "God Natasha, still fight first and ask questions later? Thought you'd have changed!". "Wait a minute, I know that laid back voice!". The sand solidified into a person, and Natasha said "Adrian Coast, you sand covered fool!" She said punching him in the shoulder. "Ow.... You know me so well!".

He can manipulate and turn into sand at will, and use it to even change his look!]

"False alarm girls, it's just my friend Adrian!" Natasha said as the two walked over. "Wait, how did you find me? And how did you get here?" She asked him. He focused on them and said "After Necrodrift was defeated, the base started to crumble. Shadow was able to get everyone out in time, but when we regrouped he told me to go and try to find you. So I obliged!".

He looked at her and said "I've been searching for you ever since. You know how Shadow gets when he doesn't hear from one of us after an event like that! I uh.... Also came to warn you....". Natasha looked at him and said "What is it?". He sighed and said "Court Jester and Mirror Miser. The two of them are on their way here, and I'd like to preferably not interrupt all the partying heroes.".

Back inside Nathan went over to grab Z, who was.... Okay, to put it nicely she was wasted. "Z. Wake up Z." Nathan said as Z barely moved. She smiled and said "Shut the fuck up, you got the right to remain silent! Anything you say, will and can be used to-". At this point Nathan just picked her up and said "Time to sober up!". He walked over to Daycloak and said "Hey, Day, I need a favor.".

*5 minutes later*

Nathan turned on a hose and started spraying Z with it. "AHHHH! TURN IT OOOOOOOFFFFFFF!!!!". He turned off the hose and Z looked at him and said "Nathan? The fuck are we doing outside?". He helped her up and said "Let's just find the team!".
