//Well shit apparently making a new volume is not a good idea. Whatever, chapters are still chapters.
Enjoy!//

"Hehe, did you enjoy the show? My master~"
Ordell turned to his master, giving her one of his signature bows, although this time there was hardly any mockery behind it. His regular smile was back in full swing, hardly fazed by the situation he had put the rest of the student body present into.
Despite the danger previously being present in a very clear way, the people that formed the circle around Ordell and Guiche's duel walked away relatively slowly. They were unsure if running away would even be the best option, or if staying still would ultimately put them in more danger. So they chose the third option, slow retreat. Like one would do when faced with a potentially dangerous animal, not knowing whether running away will make the animal chase them or staying still will make the animal feel more threatened.
As such, a slow retreat from the scene has been chosen as the best possible answer.
"Well~?" Ordell couldn't help but quirk up an eyebrow as Louise just stared at him with this flabbergasted look, mouth slightly agape and eyes widened.
He was confident in his abilities to impress his master, but her aghast silence was slowly getting scary. A bead of sweat trailed down Ordell's brow as he for just a moment thought that he broke his master's mind, which it was far too early for that, he hadn't even put her legs on his shoulders!
Ahem, getting off-topic again. Kirche and Siesta seemed to keep a little bit of distance between Ordell and Louise, Siesta obviously being the considerate one and waiting for the right moment to intrude while Kirche just wanted to get on Louise's good side quickly so that she can ride Ordell like a rampant horse.
"Hello? Master? Are you there?" switching back to his disrespectful self for just a minute, Ordell snapped his fingers in front of Louise's face in hopes of breaking her out of her stupor, which actually worked!
But instead of stuttering or giving some manner of a verbal answer to the slightly worried familiar, the pinkette instead charged onward. Faster than the eye could blink, Louise's body collided with Ordell's. She wrapped both her arms and legs around his torso, keeping her short and light stature suspended in the air.
Ordell blinked twice before quickly placing his hands under Louise's small but very soft and luscious thighs, helping her stay in the air as she tightly hugged him like a beartrap. They stayed silent for a little while before Louise had spoken to Ordell in a soft, barely audible voice.
"How did you do that...?"
The smile that was ever-present on Ordell's face widened slightly as he gently bent his head backwards, signalling his master to look him in the eye. She obliged, the position they were in, no matter how intimate and provocative didn't seem to invoke any sexual thoughts at the moment.
To Louise's chagrin, the male winked at her as his smile turned into a smug :3
"Magic~"
"...I hate you."
"You love me."
"...Yeah."
Not wanting to be completely ignored, Kirche made a b-line straight towards the two having a very intimate and romantic moment. She fully intended to squeeze herself in between those two, and she had to admit, Louise was very fun to tease and annoy~ Siesta of course reluctantly followed after the busty Germanian, she wanted to thank the man that had saved her properly, even if she had nothing to offer...
Except maybe her body...
NEIN! Purge those thoughts from thy brain!
So while the four were having a talk, in Louise's and Kirche's case a small argument, a person watched the whole chain of events unfold with great mystique and interest. That person was none other than Jean Colbert himself, the professor that instructed the second-year students on how to summon their familiars.
He saw the marks glow on Ordell's hand and couldn't stop his fascination with them. They seemed oddly familiar... yet were foreign at the same time. They were rare, exceedingly so even amongst uncommon, maybe even mythical familiars like Ordell.
That man was clearly not human, not by a longshot. But, the fact that Colbert couldn't find anything on a race with a pair of two red horns on his head frustrated him. He wanted answers, but no books would provide him with some.
Perhaps, it is best to gather information straight from the source...
Louise obviously won't be of much help in this regard, but her familiar on the other hand might be able to shine some light on this mystery. He was unnamed before he appeared, this could suggest that he was not a member of a tribe of some kind or even had any form of social contact with anyone. As to how he could speak and such could be explained with magic, Ordell has shown that he can perform it very well. He constructed that weird silver hand cannon. But this arose a new question, Colbert had never seen magic on an intricate level such as that. It wasn't bringing life to golems, it was creating a clearly complex structure in a matter of seconds without so much as straining to do so or even looking, let alone chanting.
But, still, Colbert couldn't help but smile lightly. The happiness of his students always precedes his other duties. He is, after all, a professor, not a researcher or a soldier. Just a teacher who has the best interests of his students at heart.
