A Boy named Quinn and a City of Normal
[A/n if you think Orb is in a magical world or magical realism world then you are mistaken]
Orb saw the equipment of the explorers which were just a few sleeping bags, climbing pickaxes and other things that people would need when going on long hikes.
"Hello there" Orb asked
"Who are you?" Asked the boy trembling
"Will you hurt me like them?" The boy asked as Orb saw a large bleeding cut on his left arm
"..."
[... A sad sight]
'Sad?' Orb asked
[Please take in this boy and use him to start your takeover of this world]
'Alright'
"No" Orb replied
"Then-" The boy started to talk
"Join me" Orb asked
"..." The boy looked at the ball of black mist which was Orb
"Join me and I promise you whatever you desire" Orb in a figurative sense smiled
"..." The boy was silent
"Tell me what is your name?" Orb asked
"Quinn" Quinn replied to Orb's question
"Then will you join me?" Orb asked
"I-" Quinn stuttered
"-Will join you" Quinn's green eyes started to become firm while his short blonde hair flutter in the wind that was picking up
"Then come inside" Orb said as Quinn went inside the small cave
Ten hours went by, and Army was revived and soon Quinn found Army.
Army and Quinn got along good with each other.
"Army, Quinn come here" Orb asked
"Yes, my Lord?" Both said in unison
"Go and take more lives" Orb said to the dismay of Quinn
"Yes, my Lord" Army said as Quinn followed
"Good"
Soon two minutes passed, and Orb was confused about something.
"Can Army only summon three? What about ranged soldiers?" Orb having despite being born only twelve hours earlier asked

Soon in the forest another soldier but in blue robes and a long pointy blue hat with a staff appeared and flung a magic bolt at the bunny with horns killing it.
"What" Quinn asked
Meanwhile with Orb as he is simply waiting as the lives keep coming in.

"... Faster attack speed" Orb decided to choose three

"What else can I do?" Orb asked bored
[Well, you can take control of a soldier]
"Take control of a normal soldier" Orb asked before he saw his vision faded and he saw himself marching with the others but kept quiet
"Alright there is another bunny over there" Quinn's voice sounded
"Got it" Army gave a simple reply
Soon the army attacked with Orb despite being in a physical body for the first time, he knew how to move and attack like a normal human.
Orb moved with such moves he was quite surprised, but he ruthlessly cut the bunny's head off clean surprising Quinn and Army.
'Who is that one?' Army thought before having Orb's avatar lead
They went on for a few more hours until it was dark, and they needed to return.
Soon they had gotten back to the cave as Orb returned into his black misty soul.
"You're back?" Orb said
"Yes-" Quinn said as he stomachs grumbles
"Whoops" Quinn said embarrassed
"May I have some food?" Quinn asked sheepishly
"What's food" Orb said in a straightforward tone
[Food gives the inhabitants the required energy to live]
"Where can we obtain some?" Orb asked
"Uh, there's a city a few thousand meters away" Quinn replied
"Good, Army goes take Quinn to the city tomorrow" Orb ordered as he checked the points

[Would you like to select an upgrade?] This text box had come up earlier, but Orb ignored it as he was attacking a few bunnies
"Why does it ask whether I would like to select an upgrade?" Orb asked finally
[Well, you can also exchange it...]
"For what?" Orb asked
[Well as of now you are unable to exchange as the lives are too little]
"Alright then let me select" Orb sighed
[+1 Wolf Rider, Better Magic weapons, or Fire Weapons]
"Fire Weapons" Orb said
Soon the wooden daggers and the magic wand the army had including the long wooden spear went into flames now being able to give fire damage while the magic wand could now use fire type spells.
"Can I use Shadow Tentacles to attack?" Orb asked since he needed more points
[Up to fifty meters can you attack]
"Got it" Orb ordered the Shadows to attack any living being other than Quinn
Soon the night passed, and all the animals soon had a great tale passed about the Monster that lurks in the night.
Army summoned his troops as Quinn and Army left for the City of Hope a city which relied on its fabulous clothing, diamonds, and the first hunting companies to make it so rich.
Hunting companies usually hunted exotic beasts to either protect people or obtain great riches which many hunters would die or that's what the companies should be doing. Hunters were quite new as the superheroes were just starting and being uncovered as F rank heroes had just started becoming worldwide celebrities after the white light now called Genesis.
Soon Quinn and Army found themselves in the city with people all around were posters of people with cool superpowers.
"Woah Ice girl?"
"Hey look! Fire Hero!"
"Grass Man!"
In hindsight the hero's names were quite... strange?
Soon Army and Quinn found themselves in the grocery store called Hero Bags and bought a few rations and ate a few snacks and went to a pizza place and ate and when I mean eating, I mean only Quinn ate.
Wait where did they get the money? Oh, yea the adventurers that Orb killed.
Soon we find ourselves with Orb finally obtaining 100p after leaving his cave.
"What else can I do with 100p?" Orb asked
[Well... You can obtain a new elemental]
"Do it" Orb said without any hesitation
[Well, the elemental will be random and very low ranked]
"Do it" Orb said again
[Fine]
[... The Fire elemental has been chosen would you like to spawn Fire in Hope City or Omega Cave]
