Chapter 12 No one should know

Kalaron matched over to where the maids sat paralysed in shock. He looked down at them. When Belinda and Risella felt someone stare at them, they looked up to see a very handsome male. He wasn't human of course! An elf? Yes, his pointed ears said it all.

I don't think ladies as beautiful as yourself should be seating on the ground like that." He spoke softly with elegance in his voice and the way he carried himself.

Risella and Belinda who at first seemed way too disoriented to pick on what he said finally sprung up from the ground embarrassed. They must have looked so pitiful that these royals were taking the initiative to approach them.

We are sorry your Highness!" Risella apologised tagging at Belinda so that they could leave and not pick on alot of attention.

What are you apologising for?" Kalaron asked confused. Had he done something to have them apologize? He had been gentle and spoken nicely to them! Humans were really....ahhh! He stepped away and let the humans be on their own but stopped in his steps. "You were asking help from the wrong persons." he said to them and the maids were confused now. "Go to the head maid, she'll help you better." He said and left, he needed to be there during the rescue of Redpearl.

Huh?!" Belinda looked at Risella with her red eyes asking for clarification. It clicked later after a few seconds in Risella's mind and she literally dragged Belinda along with her. Why didn't they think about it sooner!!!!????

.......

"You are really making this difficult for both of us!" The vampire snarled at Redpearl. "I'm giving you an option of becoming my mate at will! If you do that, I won't hurt you but the more you keep rejecting me, the more I have no reason to leave you unscathed...so be a good little human and accept me!" He yelled throwing a chair across the room thlo contain his rage. He really liked her, or else, he wouldn't have gone to such lengths to pursuade her to let him bite her or even better, to put his life on the line with the offer from the other human princesses. He hadn't expected such resistance and if this didn't get done sooner, he could be found and put into a difficult position!

"I'm giving you one last chance!" He took a deep breath to calm himself down ."Accept me or else I'll just kill you, your rejection is starving me further!" He had drank from her guard but his blood was terrible, only passed the rate to keep him from bitting the human princess.

"Someone help!" Redpearl squeaked. She had grown up to be a free soul who had never experienced the harshness of the world, except being isolated, she had never gone through such an experience. The vampire hadn't hurt her that much but she was in so much fear that she lost her voice. She had put up a struggle against him whenever he tried to come close to bite her neck and he'd clutch at her neck so tight that she feared his nails would dig in her skin and draw blood which would agitate the vampire further putting her in a far worse situation that she already is in!

As Benard sprinted flowing the faint scent of his mate still lingering in the breeze, he caught sight of a finagle of fairies racing aganist the wind. What? Those creatures never left their habitants for no matter the reason! Why? He wanted to know but his mate came first!

He sprinted and caught up with them and only after running a distance, did he realise they were heading in the same direction as he was. He caught sight of an abandoned cottage. The scent here was more distinctive!

Whoever it was that had their hands on his mate should say goodbye to his disgusting life today! The fairies clumped themselves into a cluster and hit at the cottage with so much ferocity enveloping the whole place with themselves.

The vampire who had his fangs out coated with mating serum ready to sink his fangs into the unwilling and resisting Redpearl who had blood dripping from her neck to her dress was startled with the loud bang sound that interrupted him. He knew he had been found and it was a now or never moment for him! He tightened his hold on her his sharp nails digging deeper into her neck drawing more blood. Redpearl writhed under his hold!

And just before his fangs broke into her skin, an earth shattering growl broke out in the room. The fairies displayed their first ever aggressive nature and sprinkled their dust onto the vampire whose skin burned in exhuriating pain. Benard took this as his cue and bit into the vampire's neck from behind dragging him away from his mate!

There were rules but he wasn't planning on following them now, he sunk his fangs Futher into the vampire's neck up until it's spine.

A huge portion of the fairies surrounded Redpearl and lifted her off the ground, they sprinkled their dust all over her which undid the wounds that had formed on her body. The points where the dust made contact with her blood would sizzle and produce more dust.

Benard didn't think twice and bit hard at the vampire's spine. He was angry but he didn't forget their purpose of coming here. He didn't want to bring his kind a war...though, he planned on offering this bloody creature a lesson! He dislocated the vampire's spine real good that he'd never get to use his limbs ever again!

Kalaron and his group had also just arrived at the destination where Redpearl had been held captive. He and his men stopped in their tracks and watched the whole cottage glow with fairies, it was a beautiful sight but that wasn't the reason they were here. The discreetly charged forward but before they could get to the cottage, they experienced an out of the world experience. The small creatures exhibited a ferocious nature sprinkling their dust to the elves and it burned their skin!

Fairies were peaceful creature and this kind off aggressive nature wasn't in them! Elves were from the other branch of these creatures though they had lesser magical elements to them.

Kalaron had his soldiers draw back and watch the whole thing unfold dumbfounded.

Inside the cottage, Benard managed to disable the vampire and his now golden irises looked at his mate. She was a little shaken but looked fine now thanks to the fairies that kept sprinkling her with their magical dust. He had heard of the magic behind their dust but had never really gotten to see something of the sort happened but now, different from the time his mate was pale when he just came in and her heartbeat erratic, she was calmer and her expression relaxed as she watched the small creatures banter around her. They were complaining and blaming one another for having been such a lazy bam making them arrive late!

Redpearl was smiling and almost forgetting she was close to getting bitten by a crazy vampire. "Thank you guys for coming!" she said her voice filled with gratitude. She was close to tears of joy but the small creatures weren't letting her tears fall! Everytime a year was close to falling, they'd sprinkle dust onto the tear and it would sizzle as if burned them burst into more Pixy dust! It was beautiful to watch since the dust had rainbow colours when it fell off her.

Brandon looked at the lady with red locks and and hypnotising green eyes as she laughed and he felt his heart erupt in sweetness. His wolf wanted to lick her! Oh goddess! Couldn't she just forgive him? Such a beautiful mate! He'd die this instant at her beauty! She was heavenly, her scent sweet, driving him primal but all frozen to even approach her!

His ears twitched and he caught soft voices outside the cottage, then he saw how the rest of the fairies that had been surrounding the cottage flew into the house and created rings of barriers around his mate. His snout twitched.

Lots of love from litto-ways ❤️
