Chapter 6: The Reunion.

The door to the child's room opened after a few minutes, and our happy couple Skygge and Adeline rushed in with nervous faces.

The two were followed by a beautiful silver-haired woman who appeared to be in her early twenties, wearing a blue and white French maid outfit, it was none other than our favorite maid, Grayfia Lucifuge, the Silver-Haired Queen of Annihilation.

The couple quickly rushed to the bedside to see their grandchild who was still lying on the bed, just staring into the ceiling blankly.

Once he saw the couple nearing him, he finally started to move, trying to sit up but failing due to his body being unresponsive to him due to prolonged non-usage.

The couple seeing his struggle quickly helped him sit up making him lean on the head of the bed to support himself, once the boy was made comfortable, he showed a weak smile, and said, "Guess I need a few more days of bed rest."

Once the boy was comfortable you could clearly see just how cute he was. Although a little thin compared to his peers of the same physical age, he still couldn't hide his truly enchanting beauty, with his silver ash hair, and beautiful eyes that mirrored the celestial river.

The tense atmosphere in the room softened considerably and the nervous couple broke out into small chuckles and relaxed considerably.

The boy looked toward the silver maid, and with a small smile and playful tone said, "Is that the "Little" Ice Princess I see?"

This caused the couple to break out into small laughter, while the silver maid narrowed her eyes at the boy and spoke in a serious tone, "It seems "young master" is in hurry to go back to his sleep."

The boy showed a dazzling smile that would even make all the Goddess of Love in the world blush like a maiden in love. Much less are ever stoic silver maid, who had a faint blush and could only avert her eyes from that beautiful smile and whisper under her breath, "Baka!"

The previously tense atmosphere of the room was completely gone, replaced by a joyful mood.

Seeing this scene made the Shadow Emperor, Skygge shed a few tears, of happiness that his grandson was finally awake and of sadness that his daughter, son-in-law, and friend weren't able to see this scene.

The small tears were clearly noticed by the child, who only showed a sad smile, and raised his trembling hand with great effort and wiped the tears off his grandpa's face, causing the old man to look up at him in surprise, only to be greeted by words that broke his final barrier.

"It's all okay grandpa, I am here."

After that, the great devil couldn't hold back his tears and just hugged his grandson tightly, like he was afraid of losing him once again. The boy didn't back off and just reciprocated the hug as much as he could while comforting his grieving grandfather.

The boy also held out his trembling hand towards his grandma, who was also in the same condition as her husband. The grieving grandmother took his hand, and the boy with all his strength pulled her in the hug as well. Comforting her too.

However, the boy didn't stop there and beckoned the silver maid and pulled her into a hug too, and that's how the people who had lost their loved ones cried together all comforted by a boy who looked no older than 8 years.

The boy who will shake the very foundation of the devil society and bring great shock into the supernatural world.

The boy who will be known as The Great Demon King Aatrox De Vil.

(A/N: A bit on the shorter side because I wanted this chapter to contain some emotion. Tell me how I did.)
