When I sneaked through the snow covered mountains I finally found my first prey, it was a SnowClaw Eagle, it had made a nest high up in the mountains and was resting in it's nest made of branches
The eagle was as big as a horse and had extremely sharp claws, what made it stand out was it's snow white feathers that were as hard as steel
/SnowClaw Eagle
Talent: weight control lvl 2/
These feathers were very valuable as they were sometimes used as flying swords by Xin artists, Xin artists could control things remotely so a light weapon like these feathers were the perfect weapon
Although their durability wasn't as high as a normal sword they could control tens of them at the same time shredding their enemies with endless attacks
With a quick lunge I pierced the back of the eagles head before it had noticed my shadowy figure
*screech*
One last breathe came from the eagle as it's muscles jerked, after it had died I collected the feathers which were extremely hard to pull out, usually those that dismantled beast carcasses would douse them in boiling water to make them come out easily
When I looked at the feathers I pulled out I was amazed, the stem of the feather was like a natural sword handle and their shape identical to a sword except it had no guard which would cause your hand to slip and get cut by the blade
I placed all the long feathers in my storage ring that Grand Elder Lou had gifted me, he was a Expert Rune Carver and made many different items with unique properties
I learned Rune carving from him and managed to make my own Storage ring too, although the quality was much more inferior and had much less space
I stored all the feathers and dug out it's claws and beak, I also dissected and stored the meat for my next meal
Beast meat was filled with Li energy and was very healthy, except for beasts that were poisonous
I examined the new talent I had gained which was weight control, every woman's dream talent which allowed me to change the amount my body weighed by a small amount by using Li
The main reason I decided to go hunting for beasts was to acquire new talents as beasts had more unique traits compared to humans
This weightless talent was perfect for many instances such as dampening the impact of a punch
Image you punched a man who weight as much as a normal feather, he would float away and suffer barely any injuries
Of course the minimum amount I could weigh with my talent at level 2 was only a few pounds less than normal
Also with this talent flying was no longer a dream, if I could increase the level of this talent then I could use the feathers to create myself a contraption that would allow me to fly
As cool as that sounds it would require me to kill many SnowClaw Eagles so I decided to look for more of them
