The shock from her words hit June and Freya differently, but Miranda just stopped walking because they did. Whenever the mother and son saw those two get too cozy with each other, they only thought that Rainy and Reese were just a sweet young couple. After all, their kisses were normally on the cheek and nose, too innocent to be romantic. No wonder… they were actually family.

Still, June was surprised. Rainy was too young to be a grandmother to someone as old as Reese.
