June Verrier was only a B-list actor shortchanged by his agency. He was only supposed to be a person rebelling against his old boss. How did he end up entangled in the affairs of the demons? No matter. Whatever came his way—be it a goon, an arrogant director, or a demon overlord—was dealt with precision. What was there to fear when he had become a devil’s darling?

The fact that Lantis was not around for a while made June uncomfortable. What was that grand demon doing that he couldn't be bothered to check up on June? No matter, June just ate corn dogs with Ares before taking him to the studio for the kid's show.

When they got there, June figured the auntie should come to fetch her nephew or just take a look if Ares was still working. However, there was no white Porsche 911 in the parking spaces that June could see. He just parked as usual and had Ares hold his hand as they walked toward the studio.
