No Good Deed Ever Goes Unpunished

*Crash

Aavesh was thrown outside the Black Wormhole and he landed in a strange Dark Place.

He could see dangerous silver wisps and streams pass in the air casually.

Even the Land here was different... and not ordinary at all.

He felt very dizzy - it was like his body could not survive here at all. He felt he could not breathe at all!

*Sizzzzzz

A Translucent shield covered him and removed those abnormal conditions from his body...

A Stalwart man appeared before him along with an Armored Swordswoman.

Aavesh widened his eyes as he recognised the man, and spoke out, "Lord Irolin-"

Irolin casually waved at him and smiled as he spoke, " Damn Kid! You literally get into trouble everytime I see you! Besides - how was the first time getting dragged into the Time Stream?"

Aavesh groaned as replied,"It's fucking Horrible!"

"I know right?! Besides I heard you fought that guy's Avatar- look there, That Guy with the Tacky Armor and wierd Pet Octopus 🐙🦑- See"

" Oh- so he's the guy with the worthless illusions"

"Hmm? Aavesh he used illusions? and they were the worthless?", Irolin Asked Curiously.

The Armored Swordswoman Kronika was speechless at the duo conversing like this... 'Little Bro I was fighting that Guy with the 'worthless illusions' Even I didn't remain victorious- doesn't that mean you are indirectly classifying me as Trash?' She could only silently complain in her heart.

Aavesh was about to reply when his 2 eyes began to hurt fiercely. It was as if something was stripping something from his eyes forcibly. By instinct he placed his palm on his eyes.

His Palms had become wet with a strange fluid-

Aavesh suddenly felt darkness in his vision and only strange liquid oozing from where his eyes were.

He was ... blind.

"I can't... see", he let out a low voice, as his head was suddenly attacked by something. Aavesh fainted but Irolin quickly caught him with a solemn look on his face.

A bit far away from them, the Masked Black Knight let out a laugh seeing this and spoke teasingly, " Hahaha - the backlash from the Universe - heh as they say, no good deed goes unpunished!", with that he then left the Sub Time Stream along with the Octopus with a strange smile on his face.

He then entered the Dark Wormhole - No matter what- he has expended so much to create a Deadzone, he would atleast stay there and find remnant Destiny Energy.

But Irolin and Kronika were incredibly angry. They saw Aavesh's face, - there were only 2 hollow eye sockets present where his eyes should have been. His eyes had melted away and there seemed to be something trying to hurt his mind as well.

*Shua

Irolin didn't say anything, he carried Aavesh as a blue Oceanic Portal Opened up before him. The Armored Swordswoman followed behind silently.

*BOOOOOM

The group arrived at a Mystical World - A world with a Dark but colorful Sky where spatial currents flowed unabated - Like the world itself was folding through continuous realities.

The land seemed to made with a Mysterious Dark Translucent substance that not only withstood the dangerous spatial fluctuations but also the Terrifying Silver River of Time below it.

If one looked carefully - the River of Time seemed to be flowing like a raging current beneath the Ground.

This was the Space -Time Junction where The Cosmic Laws of Space and Time manifested itself in reality.

It was forbidden zone where only the Strongest Inevitables existed. Even New Gods dare not enter at all lightly.

The Group then headed to a Large Hexagonal shaped Building which was the size of A Galactic Grade City.

It was Dark Grey Crystalline in Surface and 6 Massive Edge Pillars that seemed to Penetrate the Strange Ground and tap into the Terrifying Laws of Time.

The World was mostly a Wasteland with only spatial storms and Some springs of Chronoctic Water. Only the Massive Hexagonal Shaped Building was the outlier in the Space - Time Junction.

As they walked towards the Building they stopped before while trembling for a bit.

Then Kronika whispered to Irolin, "Are we allowed to Enter the Citadel ? Will the Prime Archon not punish us?"

Irolin Replied seriously," No this time, he wanted me to bring Aavesh here, He won't punish us but from his tone - I think something grave is about to happen - I never seen him so worried before... - just be ready to escape ok?"

She nodded and they continued towards the Building. In a minute they reached the wall - there was no direct entrance or door but Irolin took out a silver Ring and lightly tapped on the wall with it.

*Blitzz

A white rectangular portal opened up and the group entered it. Behind them, the portal closed as if nothing was there in the first place.

The group was directly teleported to an old style Ordinary Tea Room. A Machine like old man was preparing a seemingly ordinary silver pot of tea. His Body seemed to made of crystals and metals while he wore a Strange Silver Robe.

He didn't seem to notice about the three new Beings that entered the room.

*Pat

Irolin Kneeled down while carrying Aavesh and spoke respectfully, " Teacher - I have brought him back, like you asked but his eyes..."

The old man then looked at Aavesh's unconscious face, he nonchalantly spoke with a light hum..., " It's tea time- give him some tea to wake up"

With that he filled an ordinary wood cup with mildly warm tea. The Tea Cup then automatically floated before Irolin who received it and fed it to Aavesh slowly.

*Whoooosh zzzzzsiz

Aavesh's face scrunched up in Pain while his empty eye sockets seemed to regenerate new eyes- in a moment they had regenerated while Aavesh suddenly woke up with a fright!

His quickly felt his eyes and saw the unfamiliar surroundings.

He then saw Irolin above him who patted his back to calm him down , he then gazed at the old man before him... and felt that he was unfathomable.

The old man spoke again lightly, " To have received Heavens Eye curse- and mind cripple curse, Little kid you have truly pissed off heavens with what you did"

Aavesh looked a bit confused at this and had countless questions in his mind...

But the Old man seemed to have anticipated this and spoke in a friendly tone,

"You are probably confused as why Irolin brought you here, what is 'here'? and who am I? well let's start our meeting with the last question - I am Inevitable Kronos, A lowly Temporal Archon - who runs an old junkyard pile with dumbass disciples"

On hearing that both faces of Irolin and Kronika twitched uncontrollably but they dare not complain.

'If he was lowly, then even they would be pure trash!'

"Wait - Wait- An Archon?!", Aavesh's jaw dropped as he stared at the old man incredulously. Archons - they were a terrifying existence! He knew a little bit about them... But that little bit was scary enough !

In his Past life an Archon descended down to Face the Forbidden Devil God- The Devil God had to sacrifice 6 of his 9 True bodies to kill the Archon.

That battle was terrifying - the Planets nearby faced Several Disasters because of the after effects of the clash.

The Nearest Planet was wiped out.

Archons were truly powerful, unfortunately they were shackled by the Universe and could only use their true power under specific conditions.

Just like the old man before him. The old man then poured himself a cup of tea in an elegant manner.

Kronos smiled at him and spoke, " I had you brought here because you - my little friend - are quite interesting "

He then took a sip of the tea and continued," You have memories of an alternate Timeline, very rare form of Time Travel- very sneaky as well - hmmm - I won't comment on that but I do say- you are the only Person in the History of this Universe to wield 2 Mythic Powers and strangely- they don't seem to conflict, although your other Innate Mythic Power is very closely aligned to Order - It eventually boils down to what is it- right?- Do you even know your New Mythic Power?"

Aavesh shook his head at this- by now he was not surprised that People knew about his memories - these were all big shots - if they didn't know it would be a joke.

Kronos sighed and spoke, " Your Other Mythic Power is a derivative of the Cosmic Balance- very similar to Machina Power of Absolute Order but a bit more - different- Its name is Primordial Aeon Mythic Power- It was a Mythic Power that could one day achieve the highest peak known to us as- Archaic Gods!"

"But the Person who molded it, never went past the level of Celestial Autarch - he died and because of him we all are here - His Mythic Power however diffused into the Reincarnation Cycle - randomly choosing a Soul - these people became Mythic Aeons and created their own versions of the Power, Ultimately all of them have the same Tragic Ending as the First Molder - they became unspeakable - meaning their names could never be uttered - all of them remain forever forgotten in the annals of Time..."

He then paused to look at Aavesh who was shocked at this story- Aavesh could not almost believe it - a Power so ancient and Mysterious had chosen him?

And would he have that same Tragic Ending? He also seemed to recall that mad old witch who kept telling he was destined to Die...

Kronos spoke again, as if reading Aavesh's mind," You recently lost your eyes and almost lost a part of your mind - this is indeed related to your Mythic Power, You used the Power to remove The Source of Eldritch Chaos- don't be surprised if I know this- There is not much hidden to the Eyes of Time - anyways you used that power to bring balance - to do something good but ended up with this Curse - it is not unique, but a very common Phenomena with Aeons like yourself - you used the rules of the Universe and altered then to bring Balance... "

"sigh* the Cosmic Will doesn't like that because you USED ITS Powers - the Cosmic Will is very fickle and will demand a Price for using its all powerful Abilities - think Aavesh - those Aeon Predecessors of yours were able to Literally Time Travel and alter reality at a flick- there was always a price for those abilities... to pay for that - they became agents of Machina Realm, in the end they became far detached from their emotions and became soulless slaves to both the Machina and the Cosmic Will"

"The Machina even tried to replicate this Mythic Power! But they created a powerful yet defective Order aligned agents known as Machinan Aeons- they can't Time Travel or see the Cosmic Balance - they are very good at wielding Absolute Order Powers"

" Now simply put - if not for Irolin and us, The Machina Realm would have contacted you already - with a Powerful contract to let you truly wield your powers - you might think, why does the Cosmic Will ask you to pay for using your Mythic Powers - it's pretty simple"

" You are not Protected by the Machina Realm and your power - despite how effective it is, in the eyes of the Cosmic Will - it is a Threat, an unstable variable - It will collect high payment from you because your powers are bound to the Laws of this Universe - also you are not a Powerful Celestial Autarch to be able to fully display the Power within- you are too weak to resist the Cosmic will..."

Aavesh now truly understood his new Mythic Power- It was that of a Primordial Aeon... but he still felt a bit of shock... why did they not Manifest before?

However Kronos solved this doubt by saying," if you are thinking why you were unable to activate it before - this Mythic power has harsh requirements, you may have achieved your requirement recently - think Aavesh, which was the closest state you achieved with the concept of Balance?"

Aavesh thought for a bit then realised , as his eyes widened, " I think it was a while back when I faced my Heart Demons- I realised that I must accept myself Fully to truly bring balance within me as a person - could that be the trigger that activated it?"

However Kronos smiled as he spoke," It was one of the few triggers - the other being you receiving a Heart refining Mental Sutra and the final one when you began to finally 'wish' to Alter reality being in an unfavorable situation - however, do you want to be a slave ? For you to fully become a True Aeon- you will have to accept the Contract offered, unless do you want an alternative route?"

"Is there an Alternative?" Aavesh immediately asked, with hopeful eyes. He didn't want to be a slave at all!

"It ultimately depends on you", Kronos spoke straight forwardly but there seemed to be a slight glint in his eyes.

He then poured another new cup of Tea but now the Tea in it seemed to display a mini universe on its own- it was filled concentrated specks of Star light and drifting Solar clouds and so much more...

He passed the new cup to Aavesh and spoke nonchalantly," Drink this- accept the Test and we shall see what you are..."

Aavesh now stared at the Cup of tea before him...
