	“You brought me here to your realm, just to kill me?” Alyssa asked incredulously. “Why not do it somewhere else?” Saeraboth Drund shifted his gaze to Prefect Doth who shook his head.


	“How interesting you have never known the truth, but I can understand why your mother shielded you from it, and decided to abandon you.” Saeraboth Drund said. “No doubt you are aware that the pendant is the symbol of the Amethesi, much as the coiled snake is the symbol for the Drund family. It was a gift from your mother to protect you from me.”


	“I don’t understand; how?” Alyssa questioned as she cocked her head.


	“As long as you wore that pendant, I could not kill you nor could any Drund family member; it afforded you incredible protection from us. But no longer.” Saeraboth Drund stated. 


	“Zarram told me that you wanted the pendant, not just removed from my person.” Alyssa countered back.
