Chapter 64: Pymous

A warm, ruddy glow greeted Oliver as he stepped inside the Crownseeker tent. A stretch of dirty earthen floor led the way forward, packed down by countless boot prints. Wooden partitions separated the large space into several sections, with white canvas draped between them, blocking many of them from view.

The center of the tent was a flurry of motion. More than a dozen Crownseekers were milling about, there, ducking in and out among the canvas-covered partitions.

No one paid Oliver any mind. Glancing to his right, he caught a glimpse of one of the covered sections of the tent as a Crownseeker emerged. An oil lamp hung from a ring in the canvas ceiling, which spilled light across a table more than eight feet long. A map lay across most of it, which was mostly covered by a variety of small, multicolored objects.

Oliver supposed they must be markers of some sort, though he could not begin to guess what they were meant to convey.
