As the Alpha of Midnight Moon, my first priority is protecting my pack, not finding my mate. So when we are threatened by Dark Eclipse pack, my goal is to keep the threat away. There has to be someone I can talk to about this. But who?


Normally, I would turn to my mom for something this important, but I can hardly tell my mom that I slept with the Alpha last night. I can’t really tell Alice either. If I tell anyone at all, they will guess the truth of the situation, that Micah and I are fated mates, and I’ve promised him I won’t tell anyone.


Except… there’s someone who already knows….


Ordinarily, I would say this isn’t the kind of conversation a person should have with a member of the opposite gender, but James isn’t like most guys, so I think that will make it manageable. But then… he also doesn’t care about stuff like this. As far as I know, he has absolutely no experience with it. So maybe I shouldn’t talk to him about it.
