Chapter 76: Life or Death

*Micah*

I slam into Alpha Kradick like a f*cking brick wall, knocking him backward down the mountain at least twenty feet. I slide with him, but I manage to keep on top of him, and when he finally stops moving, he’s flat on his back, the wind knocked out of him, wheezing.

Now would be the perfect time to rip the b*stard’s throat out. He’s separated himself from all of the rest of his troops, who are on the other side of the battlefield, and the two of us are over here by ourselves. I want to end him more than anything. I have no mercy in my blood for this jacka*s after all of the sh*t he’s done to so many people in so many packs.

He deserves to die more than anyone I’ve ever met before.

But even though he can’t get a full breath in, and he’s bleeding from the side of his head where a rock has cut into him, he’s not down and out. He’s still bigger than me, and he’s also scrappy. He’s not going to fight fair. Knowing that doesn’t necessarily make it easy to counter his attacks.
