Antoni P.O.V
Antoni watches as Victoria’s eyes light up after stepping off the elevator into the empty lobby. She turns around in a slow circle, eyes wide and slack-jawed. Her throat meets the air as her chin lifts to look at the high ceiling, multiple rooms, and offices which are visible like a glass beehive.
Antoni grinds his teeth together. He would give up his spot in Heaven and Hell if it meant he could kiss away the cold caressing the skin under her chin.
“The plumbing, interior walls, and everything cosmetic-related still need to be completed.” Antoni shrugs, looking around the space. “But it’s getting there.”
Glass windows cover the lobby, looking out toward the front entrance – a concrete and weed-filled courtyard in desperate need of landscaping. The soon-to-be reception area sits in front of a wall separating the two main hallways, the right one leading to multiple elevators and the left heading toward the bathrooms.
