Victoria P.O.V
She doesn’t spend much time gathering things from her room. The sooner she leaves here, the sooner she’ll arrive at the longhouse, and the sooner she’ll be able to see Antoni again. Just because she’s accepted waiting for him to return doesn’t mean she has to be indifferent to it.
Haphazardly throwing textbooks and study sheets for the rest of her classes into a tote bag, she runs back down the stairs and out the front door. Dante’s car is nowhere in sight; the small patch of oil on the ground where the car was parked already freezing over. They must have left as soon as Antoni got into the car.
