Taking care of children is hard enough when you're a parent. It's harder when you're a seventeen-year-old high schooler.

Lucy Hastings is the caretaker of five foster siblings -Seth, Serena, Derek, Oliver, and Ariel. The six of them have been together for years, under the love of their foster parents. When their foster mom passes away their foster dad needs to work more to make ends meet. The kids want to be a family, so Lucy steps up to take care of the kids.

Keeping everybody around her at arm's length, Lucy finds it difficult to hide her true self from new student, Wesley Reynolds. He seems to be everywhere, why can't she escape him?

The set dinner table looked like it was out of a catalog. Tall candles are at the center of the table. The table had extensions to fit the six of us plus Wes, Meredith, and Jordan. All the kids filled their plates to capacity without missing any of the food. 


Clarice always told us that wasting food, especially food cooked by somebody else, is the biggest sin and sign of disrespect. She always made us all finish the food on our plates. 


“I hope you’re all enjoying the dinner. Wes made sure that none of the kids had any food allergies before we started cooking,” Meredith explained. 


“It’s incredible Meredith. Our dad, Eric, loves ordering and cooking Italian food for Thanksgiving. A traditional meal is something that we haven’t had in years,” Serena smiled. 


The girl is a genius. She knows exactly how to tell a story to make people believe anything she says.


Both Seth and Serena have the ability to talk themselves out of any situation.
