“Tis the season to be a foster kid!” Seth exclaimed, running into my bedroom.
“Fa, la, la, la, la, it’s Christmas!” Serena continued.
I stirred under my blankets to try and remain comfortable. In three seconds, a storm of kids is going to jump on my bed and ruin my peaceful slumber.
Without warning, multiple bodies body slammed onto my bed.
“Lucy! Lucy! It’s Christmas! Santa came to see us!” Ariel chirped.
It’s been about a week since the kids were sick and they are now back to feeling 100%. All of them have been up and out of bed the last few days. Thankfully, they aren’t sick during Christmas. That would’ve ruined the holiday spirit for everybody.
