Class Assessment 3....

It's been two hours since we were resting and waiting for the start of the exam.

Suddenly we heard echoes and cheering sounds from the entry gate of the field. Not understanding what was the shouting all about we went toward the gate.

Upon nearing we saw The Tsuchikage and the whole clan elders council were entering the field.

The shouting and cheering were for the welcoming of the guests.

The Tsuchikage walked briskly toward the Seeing Platform near the field. He amiably smiled at every one of us before engaging in small talks with many students before he went on the platform. Before sitting he waved to the crowd making them erupt in cheers. And between a few minutes clan leaders came in succession.

'Man, these Kages are like fuc@king politicians'

When every one elder became present we were made to stand below the platform and then Onoki sama started his stupid speech.

" First I would like to congratulate you 10 finalists who have made it till this far. You all were born here in Iwa and this is where your family lives, To protect this family we have to be strong so we can protect them from those who wish to inflict harm upon us....."

Akira found it hard to keep his mind on what the Onoki-sama was saying. The weather was hot and moist air was blowing making the dust in the fields stick to our skin. His mind couldn't help but return to what Yuki had told him a few minutes ago while I and Yuki were talking.

'Why am I feeling Yamato trying to sound like Yamato? I know this doesn't make any sense so what am I feeling this. Maybe Just my stupid assumption.'

He made an effort to throw those ramblings in the back of his head and turned his mind back to the speech.

".... And so you are all the future of Iwa. Now let the match begin"

The protector came and our matches were decided, it would be number 1 vs number 2, number 3 vs number 4, 5 vs 6, and so on. Soon the matches started in 5 different stages. Not wanting to waste much time in these matches we decided to end our matches quickly.

Our [Akira, Yuki, Yamato, Hana] matches were held in the northern, eastern, western, and southern stadiums.

In the northern stadium where Yuki will be fighting. The moment the fight started she started forming hand seals and released one of the most powerful light genjutsu she had in her arsenal that made her opponent go blind.

Upon seeing Yuki making a hand seal her opponent also used a jutsu to make an earth barrier hoping to stop whatever she was casting. But before she knew what happened her vision went blind, she panicked and she forgot to use the earth sense to check her surroundings and was quickly defeated by Yuki.

On the southern stage, Akira was standing opposite his opponent. The moment the protector announced the start of the match I created a light construct bird and flew above the stadium. Then without any end, I bombed the stage with all kinds of jutsu making him lose within seconds.

My opponent was mainly earth and fire user and hence knew little of wind jutsu making him unable to fight against me.

The match which ended the fastest went on the eastern platform. A boy was facing Yamato. When the match started he saw Yamato smirking then he disappeared from his view, and the next moment he heard a whisper " Oh ho my chocolate I couldn't taste you much, Tsk Tsk Goodbye" and he fell unconscious.

Hana was having her match ongoing on the western platform with the strongest student except the four of us, his name is Koji, and was Onoki's youngest son he had received guidance from Onoki himself and was powerful enough to hold a candle against Hana. Even though he was somewhat powerful but could defeat him quite easily but she was thoughtful enough to continue this fight for a few minutes. Though she knew Onoki can't do anything to her but for keeping Onoki's pride she fought for a few good minutes.

When she felt that was enough she defeated him using a light jutsu making him faint.

All these matches ended just as they started. the students were cheering and discussing how strong we are. Unlike the good mood between students, the elder's platform was as silent as a grave after witnessing the previous fight.

Onoki had a hard time keeping himself from outwardly showing his shitty mood from the fights, other than glaring at The Shiba clan Head he kept silent. Even though the other elders wanted to say shit to Kurai they said the opposite " Kurai it looks you have a few good seeds in this generation, well congrats"

"Ha Ha Ha... Thank you. But they are not that good, they need to try hard to live up to my expectations " Hearing Kurai all the elders felt like spitting blood.

The fifth match was still ongoing between Aoi Habichi and a Mori clan student. They were looking battered with mud and dust all over their body and face, their clothes were torn from here and there and they were panting like dogs. The Mori clan kid looked more haggard than Aoi. She took a deep breath as her face became pale as if devoid of any blood and she without any hand signs made crystals appear near her opponent nearly impaling him. But before it could impale him he was carried out of the platform by the protector leading to his surrender.

No elders were looking at the platform as they were too busy thinking about the Shiba clan's kids to look at the usage of crystal by Aoi...
