"Why isn't she here yet?" Fred asked as he looked around like a lost puppy searching for its owner.

Jared could barely hold in his laughter at his assistant looking for the Frosty Princess frantically. They arrived at the Le Grand Gala about thirty minutes ago and it seemed Fred was more concerned about Ariana's lateness than the real reason they were here.

Jared wasn't so worried that Ariana hasn't shown up till now because who was he kidding? She was Ariana Jatropesh, he knew she would come in when the party had started fully so she could garner attention just like the drama queen she was.

"One might think you have fallen in love, Fred," Jared teased and smiled as he watched his assistant go red.

"W-What?! No, of course not, boss! I was just asking because she wasn't here yet!" Fred tried to defend himself quickly which only added to Jared's amusement.
