After their little adventure in the Roble Kingdom, Eve had picked up Lin, who was still at the PUB, and they had left. While in the Kingdom, they had to remain acting as 'humans', as the three could feel that they were being followed and watched.

However, as soon as they left the Kingdom, they quickly lost the people following them and teleported back to Alpha Prime.

The three appeared in front of the Black Tower. Back on Alpha Prime, Lily stretched and took a deep breath.

"Oh man, it's really good to be home! I couldn't bear to be in that underdeveloped place for one more second, kekeke!"

Lin didn't say anything but nodded in agreement.

"Order: You two, go meet Lapis. I have already warned her about her punishment, and she has happily prepared some very 'fun' lectures for the two of you," Eve said right away.

Lily made an expression of terror, while Lin, even though she didn't show any expression at all, her despair was noticeable.

"Wait, Eve-sama! Let's talk about it!" Lily knelt and begged.

"Reply: No. Go before I give you two a worse punishment."

Giving her ultimatum, Eve entered the Dark Tower, leaving a stunned Lily and Lin behind.

"What happened to Eve-sama? She looked…Distant," Lily commented with concern as Eve was a lot colder than usual.

"I don't know..." Lin replied.

----------

Eve entered the Dark Tower and sighed.

'I need to vent to someone. I've been ignoring a lot of things lately, especially about my transmigration, and how relatively calm I am with everything that's been going on.'

Making up her mind, Eve walks calmly to the back of the Tower's entrance area, and stops in front of the wall. The wall, as if recognizing that Eve was there, a vertical line appears, and the wall opens, revealing what appears to be an elevator.

Entering the elevator, the doors close, and Eve said, "Order: Section 26, D254A122D."

Giving the command, a blue light shone just above her, and the doors closed.

The elevator shook slightly for a second, then opened the doors.

[Section 26, D254A122D] said a mechanical voice from the elevator.

The elevator wasn't exactly an ordinary elevator. Unlike an elevator that transits between floors, the elevator that Eve used transits between subspaces.

The subspace was a tool created for Guilds. All Guilds could create sub-spaces within their territory, and the sub-space varies a lot in size, as there were free sub-spaces, but there were also paid ones.

Its uses were varied, from warehouses, secret passages, and labyrinths, and could even be used as an expansion of your guild, without necessarily having to conquer new territory.

Some subspaces may be kilometers in size or just a few meters.

Entering the subspace, a meaningful smile appears on Eve's face.

The subspace that Eve entered was like a modern living room. It was big, with a huge rug on the floor, a long, comfortable sofa, and a giant TV in the middle.

On the couch, there was a man between 50 and 55 years old wearing pajamas. He had neatly trimmed white hair and stubble. His expression was a little stiff, but overall, he looked decent.

He was in front of the TV, watching a show while eating popcorn.

Sensing Eve's presence, the man turns his head and smiles. "Hi, sweet-hearth! I was thinking about you just now!"

Eve's expression had softened. If she could, she'd be tearing up right now.

"Reply: Hi, dad. I was also thinking about you."

In the Roble Kingdom, after Eve and company left, Kelart was in her office.

As he was reading a pile of documents, a shadow suddenly appeared beside her, and a hooded man appeared. His body and features were completely hidden by his black robes.

"Any news?" Kelart said without taking her attention from the documents.

"Sorry, my lady. We lost their track after they left the city."

Kelart raised an eyebrow. "Are you telling me that you, the best tracker I have, couldn't track them down after they left town?"

"Yes, my lady. I'm very sorry. It was as if they just disappeared without traces," he knelt and answered.

"I see. So I was right after all. You may go back," Kelart said.

"Yes, my lady!"

In the same way, the man had entered, he left, leaving Kelart alone in thought.

'Those three are extremely suspicious, especially that child. She may have deceived Calca, but not me. Cross half a continent and stop here? I think not. I'm sure I was wrong, and she's definitely not a princess.' She thought.

Kelart didn't know anything about them other than what Eve had told her, but her instinct told her that the girl had lied and that they were extremely dangerous.

Finishing her thoughts, she picks up a document that has a drawing of Eve, Lin, and Lily, and underneath it says 'Capture, Dead or Alive'. On top, there was the symbol of the Assassin's Guild.

She quickly read the contents, as well as the reward, and then stamped it.

"Whatever it is, I'm not going to let three dangerous and unknown variables roam the Kingdom as they please. If they appear again, I must capture them without letting Calca know," She muttered to herself. She may be the High Priest, but she has always been the one who kept the country safe by the shadows to help Calca, and so she will continue to do so.

What she didn't know, however, is that her decision, which she thought was cautious, may or may not destroy the Roble Kingdom.
