After she chased them out, Rebecca regretted her actions. 

That was a contract worth millions of dollars! Her heart bled when she thought about how much money she had just lost out on. 

"Mom, look at you. No matter how much they mistreated you in the past, they're now handing us money. How could you send them back? My brother was right. You can be angry all you want, but you can't let money slip from your fingers." Scarlet could not stop her mother, and so she could only grumble nonstop. 

"Enough, Scarlet. Stop talking. Haven't we been oppressed enough over the years we stayed with them? Mom has finally stood up for herself. You can't start criticizing what she did." 

Rebecca felt slightly less guilty when someone else stood up to support her.
