Chapter 06: Making Friends

– Weiss Schnee –

As Akari entered the room, she felt her face burn bright red as she looked between Winter and her partner. Winter was going to be sleeping with Akari with the intention of her being impregnated.

"Oh, hey," Akari said with a lazy wave.

"Hello again, Akari," Winter said, sitting on the edge of his bed with a slight smile on her lips. "I was just discussing our relationship with Weiss."

Weiss felt her face burn even hotter as Akari nodded with his usual serenity, unconcerned by the topic.

"Okay," Akari started, pausing. "Take off your clothes."

Winter blinked, looking at Akari in surprise.

"You wish to start right now? I don't mind, but I'd rather my little sister not be in the room-" Winter replied, still utterly calm and professional as Weiss felt her heart pounding.

"Enchanting. If you're gonna be my bodyguard/baby momma, you need enchanted clothes," Akari cut in, making Winter pause before she chuckled.

"Ah, that does make more sense. Well, I suppose there's no point in being shy, given what we will be doing soon," Winter agreed, casually removing her specialist uniform as she stripped down to her underwear.

Akari watched, his eyes briefly lingering on Winter's bra-clad breasts as she removed her top, before appreciating her long legs and panty-clad behind as Winter finished stripping.

Akari took the clothes, pausing to take another look at her nearly naked sister before he took them over to his desk and got to work. Winter watched him with a curious smile as Weiss's mind returned to their conversation.

Akari was the last male of a legendary bloodline. It made sense; how else could you possibly explain Akari's bizarreness? It was essential for the good of the world that Akari reproduced, and often. His powers couldn't die with him, and Winter had warned her that Akari was going to be a target, of both Grimm and those who would see the Grimm succeed. She'd heard of Grimm cultists, but only in scary stories, and hadn't realised they were very real. Her partner had a target on his back, and by extension, so did she.

Not that she blamed Akari, and despite her crush on the boy, she couldn't deny that Winter was right. Yes, she wanted Akari for herself, but Akari had a duty to the world to spread his seed. That didn't mean she was giving up on the crush Winter had forced her to admit she had on her blank-faced partner.

She'd always been told that the Schnee deserved the best, and didn't it make sense that she should have the best partner so that her children had the best genes available? Plus, she wanted to make up for her family's tarnished reputation. How better to prove that she wasn't racist than to take a Faunus as her lover and husband?

Would her father approve? Absolutely not, but a part of her found that to be just another reason why she should court Akari. Call it teenage rebellion, but her father could complain all he wanted; it would mean nothing when the Atlesian council would be thrilled to have Akari and his ever-growing powers linked to Atlas.

Her blush only grew brighter as Winter leaned over Akari to watch what he was doing, her larger breasts pressed against his back as she asked him about what enchantments he was placing on it, but she mentally nodded.

Akari was the best, and she had a duty to Atlas and her family to ensure that the next generation of Schnees had his genes. She wasn't quite as nonchalant about it as Winter, but she was going to offer her womb to Akari as well.

She almost couldn't wait to see the look on her father's face when she came back pregnant with a faunus child.

– Jacques Schnee –

He had long since believed that he was downright blessed with good luck.

He'd all but stumbled upon Willow when she was young, unattached and easily seduced, making him go from a third child of a minor family, working for the Schnees as middle-management, to the CEO of the Schnee Dust Company.

Sure, his three kids were problematic. Winter was the smartest and strongest, but she'd decided to waste her skills with the Specialists instead, and then Weiss had decided to run off and play Huntress instead of embracing her place as his heir, and Whitley was just generally disappointing compared to his two brilliant sisters. Whitley's only advantage over the other two was his obedience.

But obedience was something he valued above all else, which is why Whitley was his favourite—or, to be more precise, why Whitley had been his favourite until about ten minutes ago.

He'd seen the news coming out of Vale, of course. An entire forest being frozen in an awakening of a power beyond any Semblance, with his daughter's near-death seemingly being the reason behind the 'awakening', was not something he could possibly miss.

He suspected many would tell you that he was a racist man, but that wasn't accurate. He was a greedy man, and Faunus made the cheapest and most replaceable workers. If he could put humans in the same shitty conditions to increase his profits, he'd do it without a moment of hesitation.

As such, he was genuinely thankful that this Akari had saved his foolish daughter's life, and he immediately saw how the winds were changing. If Akari survived and became a full-grown Huntsman, he would become a legend.

Such a figure would do more to change the opinion of Faunus than the White Fang had ever managed with their protests before they'd turned to violence. It would hurt profits to increase the work standards of his Faunus workers, but he was, above all else, adaptable.

He was a businessman at heart, and ensuring that his company thrived was essential. He could easily use Akari saving his daughter's life as an excuse for 'opening his eyes' and changing his ways. It would make Akari look even better, of course, but that was fine.

Akari was a rising star, and it was in his best interests to attach himself to it and soar into the sky alongside the young Faunus. It was what he did with Willow, rising from a nobody to the CEO, and he would happily do so again.

He also knew that more was going on than the public knew. He had his contacts, and whatever had happened with Akari had caused Ironwood to cancel several meetings to head to Beacon, taking the Atlesian Ace Ops and Winter with him.

His contacts found out that Winter was being assigned to Akari as his personal bodyguard due to fears of him being targeted, though who Ironwood feared was hunting him was still a mystery. Winter was Ironwood's right hand, his most trusted specialist, and she was being assigned to protect Akari. That alone was enough to alert him to the fact that something was going on, far more than just Akari's immense power.

In addition, Weiss was Akari's partner at Beacon, which gave them an excellent opportunity. He just needed one of his stubborn daughters to marry the insanely powerful Faunus boy and truly glue Akari to the SDC.

As for how to do that? He knew his daughters far better than they realised, and he quickly realised the best way to convince Weiss to try and seduce her partner. He just needed to act like he didn't want her to do so.

It would be a balancing act, approving and thankful for Akari's actions while disapproving of Akari as a partner for Weiss. Her little rebellious phase made manipulating her easier than she knew. If he had been more composed when she'd decided she was going to become a Huntress, he could have turned her off the idea by being supportive of it.

Winter wasn't so easy, being far more aware of his manipulations, and he suspected she had a thing for older men from her fanatic loyalty towards Ironwood. A part of him wondered whether Ironwood was already fucking his daughter, but he'd long since decided that no, Ironwood took his position too seriously for that.

Gods, if this didn't work, then maybe Akari liked younger boys. Whitley looked girlish enough. He didn't know if Whitley was gay, but it didn't particularly matter.

Before he made any plans, he needed to learn more about what made Akari so important to Ironwood, and he couldn't rely on his daughters feeding him that information. Rubbing his chin, he considered how best to go about this.

– Akari –

100cp granted, 100cp total

Feat Achieved: Gain Jacques Schnee's approval (100cp), 200cp total

Huh.

[Thief Gloves] - 200cp, 0cp remaining

A nifty pair of fingerless gloves that feel as light as air. The magical enchantment on them allows the wearer to move more swiftly and quickly, making them fleet of foot and dextrous. This significantly eases the flow of acrobatics and parkour attempted by the user, as well as letting them run a bit faster, making them more difficult to hit.

While they are pretty cool, the best use of them is for me to study the enchantment and recreate it. My new skills in enchanting mean that I can actually reverse engineer a lot of enchanted gear to recreate my own. I can't work out the Talisman; the magic imbued within it is currently beyond me.

"Done," I say, turning back to Winter, who gives me a small smile. I don't bother hiding my appreciation of her barely clothed form as she sits on the edge of my bed. We're going to be having sex; why should I hide the fact that I find her attractive? "I managed to fit the flight enchantment on them, barely, as well as the self-repairing enchantment. That's all I could fit on, so they don't give you back your Aura faster, and they're just as durable as before; if they get too damaged, the Enchantments will shatter entirely. Minor cuts and tears are fine; they'll fix themselves quickly, but they're still very destroyable," I warn, making her nod as she stands and walks towards me with a sway to her hips. "You're probably slower than Weiss in the air as well; her dress is just made of better materials than your uniform, so I could put more power into it."

"Entirely understandable. I have to admit, I didn't think my birthday present to Weiss would be so helpful down the line. Definitely worth the price tag," Winter teases, taking the clothes back and admiring them.

She doesn't get dressed immediately, nor does she say anything about me taking a long look at her pale body, only dressed in a white lace bra and matching panties. Grabbing her boots, I decide to get to work and flex my skills a little.

They're made of good leather; she clearly understands the importance of a good pair of boots, so I can do some good stuff with this.

"Hmm, leather is better for enchanting than cotton," I mumble, rubbing my chin. Pulling out my Thief Gloves, I study them as Winter and Weiss watch me, nodding to myself as I get to work replicating the enchantment. It isn't as good as the original, but it will do.

"They'll make your footsteps silent when you don't want to be found, as well as make you faster and more agile," I explain, handing them back to my bodyguard, who gives me an approving look.

"You know, the General would have paid you very well for what you just did," Winter points out, but I just shrug with a small smile.

"Proof of concept, you'll make the other specialists jealous. You're free advertising," I half-joke, making her laugh. "Plus, you're going to be protecting me, so you deserve it, and you're going to be carrying my child, so I want you to have it."

She pauses, giving me a soft smile at my blunt words before she steps in and leans forward. Placing her lips against mine, I mentally shrug and wrap an arm around her waist as I return the kiss; she tastes like cherries, her lip balm, maybe?

"You are an intriguing man, Akari," Winter says as she breaks the kiss. Weiss is bright red as she watches us. "Thank you for these gifts; I'll put them to good use."

"Mhmm," I agree, looking at the beautiful older woman. Worth it. "Enjoy flying."

"Oh, I intend to. Weiss, you seemed to be enjoying yourself. Would you care to show me the ropes?" Winter asks as she gets dressed, making Weiss perk up as she smiles.

"Of course! Akari, would you like to join us? I'm sure we can find something for you to enchant," Weiss offers, but I shake my head.

"Stuff to do, have fun," I say, giving them a wave as Weiss nods and excitedly leads her sister out of the room.

Nodding to myself, I set off on a magical quest.

– Yang Xiao Long –

With classes delayed but them being restricted to Beacon's grounds, she really didn't have much to do. Ruby had immediately jumped at the opportunity to use Beacon's workshop to work on Crescent Rose more, and the other two members of team Raspberry were a little too introverted for her. They seemed to be getting along, but it left her with too much free time on her hands.

Hitting the gym, she grinned to herself. It wasn't easy keeping up a bod like hers, and she had to work for it.

A sudden increase in whispers made her look up from the weights, turning to the door as Akari looked around the gym with a slight frown on his face.

"Hey, Akari," Yang greeted, rolling her eyes at the people who were treating him like he was unapproachable after the whole frozen forest thing. "I've missed you; you've been giving me… the cold shoulder since initiation," Yang joked, a proud smile on her face as she spotted his frown briefly flicking up into a fleeting smile.

"Hey, Yang," Akari greeted, waving at her as he paused. "You're good at punching things, right?"

"I like to think I am, yeah," Yang agreed, tilting her head as he nodded.

"Fight me."

"Eh?" Yang asked, blinking at his serious look.

"No weapons or powers; I wanna see how I compare," Akari explained, and she couldn't deny the momentary relief as he said 'no powers'. She was a confident girl, but not that confident.

"Heh, you sure you wanna try that? I'm not gonna go easy on you," Yang boasted, flexing. "Have you seen my guns?"

"Mhmm, very nice," Akari agreed, looking at her biceps. "You don't have to hold back."

Akari was hard to read, his face almost entirely blank, but she was pretty sure he was a fun guy at heart. Plus, Ruby was worried that he was too famous to want to be friends anymore, and she needed to make sure he didn't get a big ego and hurt Rubes' feelings.

"Gonna get changed; meet you at the ring in five?" Akari asked, making her nod as she took a swig of her water bottle.

"You know it, ice-pop. Careful, I'm so hot you might just melt," Yang teased, posing as he smiled again.

"Hmm, you are hot, aren't you?" Akari asked, rubbing his chin as she hesitated. She was not sure what he was thinking as he gave her a curious look. "Five minutes."

Heading to the changing rooms, she headed to one of the rings with a grin even as she tried to work out what he meant by that last comment.

As he returned, she took a moment to whistle at the sight of him in tight pants and a tank top, revealing the surprisingly athletic body that he had hidden under his robes; he just snorted as he climbed into the ring and gestured for her to join him.

"So, why does the living ice age want to learn how to punch?" Yang asked as she threw a few punches into the air, giving him a curious look.

"Already know, my power gave me a bunch of martial arts knowledge; wanna know how good it made me," Akari said, making her blink before he clarified. "My power just does that sometimes."

The thumbs-up he gave her really didn't make things make more sense, but she shrugged. He knew his power better than her.

"Yang Xiao Long. Little Light Dragon?" Akari translated, making her nod with a chuckle.

"Small Dragon of Sunshine, but close enough," Yang confirmed, making his brows furrow. What was going on behind those silver eyes? "Blame my dad; he used to call me his Sunny Little Dragon before I got old enough to take offence."

"Huh, Dragon? Hot?" Akari mumbled to himself. He was kind of weird, but she grinned as he got into a combat stance.

Rushing him, she immediately learnt that Akari was bullshit as he blocked and deflected several of her blows, landing a single, hard punch right into her stomach as she winced. She was used to rushing down her opponents, using her Semblance to get stronger while she overwhelmed them, but that wasn't really a choice here.

Akari was a patient fighter with a supernatural sense of what she was going to do. He constantly blocked, deflected, or just sidestepped her attacks, waiting for an opening to land a single devastating blow on her. Once more, he knocked the wind out of her as he almost gently directed her haymaker to his side before dropping to one knee and punching her right in the kidney.

As Yang recovered from the punch, she took a deep breath and tried to read Akari's movements. His movements were worryingly fluid and precise; it reminded her of her dad, oddly enough. They had different fighting styles, but the skill made her think of the man who'd taught her how to fight.

"Alright, snowflake. Show me what you've got," Yang said with a grin as she charged at him again. She was stronger than him, even if he was more agile. She wasn't too proud to admit he was probably a better fighter than her, and his fighting style was almost custom-made to counter hers.

His patient, defensive style was a hard counter for her berserker style. He just avoided and deflected most of her blows, making her tire herself out as he just kept waiting for an opening. She'd throw a dozen blows, each one being countered before he returned fire with a single blow that would strike her directly.

"You're a tricky little bastard, you know that?" Yang said, panting slightly with a grin on her face. It had been a while since she'd sparred with someone aside from her old man who could give her a run for her money.

"Mhmm," Akari agreed, and she knew she saw a brief hint of a smile on his face. Akari didn't wear his emotions on his sleeves, but that didn't mean he was an unfeeling robot. She'd learnt a lot about him as they kept sparring round after round.

She did win sometimes, landing a blow before he could slip away and knocking him on his ass, but she wasn't ashamed to admit he beat her like a drum nine times out of ten. He was damn good.

His power just 'gave' him these skills? That was some high-grade bullshit, but she believed it. When a guy decides an entire forest would look better frozen, she figured it was better to just shrug and accept whatever bullshit they pulled off.

Taking another swig of her drink, she offered him the bottle, which he took and took a gulp of water himself.

"You're damn good, frosty," Yang praised, giving him a punch to the shoulder as he hummed. "Frustrating as fuck to fight, but I guess I need to stop just charging if I want to handle you," Yang laughed.

"You're good too, hot stuff," Akari said, his tone flat as she chuckled. "Want to be hotter?"

"Oh, is that your way of inviting me to get steamy with you in the showers? You did good, Akari, but you didn't do that good," Yang laughed, making him blink.

"No, not like that," Akari corrected, and she couldn't tell if he knew she was teasing or not. "You're a hot dragon, so you should take the dragon talisman."

What the fuck was he talking about?

Watching as he made a small silver talisman appear in his hands, the red carving of a dragon on it. He took her hand, placing the talisman inside it.

"Gives fire powers, not really my thing," Akari explained as she felt a heat overwhelm her, her hands bursting into flames as she stared in awe. "You're fun, hot and a dragon, so it feels right."

He once again gave her a thumbs-up after a nonsensical explanation, but she didn't care about how little sense things made as she felt herself laugh, surrounded by flames.

"...you're melting the ring. I'm not paying for it," Akari pointed out, making her blink and look down.

Oops.

The flames quenched with a single thought, and she turned to him with a slight frown.

"You're giving me this, just like that?" Yang asked, making him nod.

"I'll alter your top and sew it into your clothes so it's easier to carry if you want," Akari agreed, making her eyes widen. "I have a good feeling about you, so you can have it. I can summon it back if you lose it or go mad with power, so it is fine. Ozpin knows. I like you, so take the talisman."

"Well, I'm not gonna say no," Yang agreed, looking at the silver talisman with some awe. Akari was weird, but he was the kind of weird that she liked. "Wanna come back to Team Raspberry's room? Ruby wants to see you again, anyway."

"Sure," Akari agreed readily, and she knew rumours were going to spread. He just gave her a fucking magic talisman in full view of the other students; they'd gotten a little audience with their sparring. Or maybe it was just her fighting in a sports bra that brought so much attention? Either or.

Still, maybe he was trying to get steamy with her? As far as flirting attempts went, kicking her ass and then giving her the power to summon and control fire was a pretty good start.

 – Akari –

Ruby is a target because she has silver eyes.

Now, her sister is stronger, and it just feels right. Her name means dragon; she's hot, so she should breathe fire. Yeah, that is just basic logic.

Feats Achieved: Befriend Yang Xiao Long (100cp), Defeat Yang in a spar and impress her (100cp), 200cp total.

It's basically paid for itself, anyway.

[Nimble as a Diarmuid] - 200cp, 0cp remaining

Diarmuid na Duibe was a particularly agile fighter and would oft amuse his fellows with displays of balance, such as riding rolling barrels down a hill or dancing on the sword-blade of a man trying to stick him. It is also said that he could leap from the ground up atop a high castle wall and back again so that no fortification could stop him. All these things you can now do.

With this agility and precognition, I am going to be near-impossible to hit. I like that. My preferred fighting style is just to block and dodge until I see an opening, then finish the fight quickly with a single blow if possible, so this will help me dance around my opponents. Diarmuid na Duibe is a demigod, and now I have his agility.

Following Yang, I nod to myself. This was a good idea, and if she misuses the talisman, I can just take it back from her.

"Ruby is at the workshop, but she's due back soon," Yang explains as I nod easily.

"I think it's gonna be best to alter your gloves to fit the talisman," I say, making her pause before she shrugs.

"You're the expert; they're in my bag. I'm gonna grab a quick shower; I worked up quite the sweat getting danced around," Yang jokes, and I just nod again as I get the pair of black gloves out. I saw her fighting; she used gauntlets that go over the gloves and partially cover them. I open a portal to my room, sticking my hand in and grabbing my kit.

As I hear the water running, I frown. Did she leave the door slightly open as a test? Well, unfortunately for her, I have my ways. As I work, I project my senses just a little as I shift through the wall, smiling to myself. She's in the shower, hot water running down her naked, incredibly buxom body, but she's got her eye on the crack in the door.

Sorry, Yang, I cheat.

I'm too used to Kali's teasing to react, and this happens to be how I get back at Kali for teasing me as well.

"Akari?" Blake asks, making me blink and return to my body as I turn to face her. "What are you doing here?"

"Adjusting Yang's gloves so the talisman fits," I say, wondering why she looks so confused when I'm obviously working on Yang's outfit.

"Talisma- wait, never mind that. What the fuck was that during initiation? You've never been able to do that before. Were you hiding-" Blake asks, whispering as she glances at the crack in the door to the bathroom, Yang's off-key humming coming through.

"It's new. My power developed some new tricks. Cool, right?" I ask, making her blink. "Ozpin knows."

"Semblances don't just grow like that," Blake points out, but I shrug.

"Mine did," I counter, making her sigh.

"Damnit, Akari. You've always been like this," Blake sighs as she sits down. "You know the White Fang are going to go crazy over this?"

"Mhmm," I agree, shrugging.

"H-have you given any more thought to whether you are willing to keep my secret?" Blake asks, nervously looking towards the shower. "I know I'm asking a lot, but I promise I can make it worth your while-"

"Blake," I say, making her hesitate. "You're dumb."

"What?!" Blake asks in a harsh whisper.

"People shared videos of the initiation; you were on camera," I point out, seeing her pale.

"O-okay, but maybe nobody recognised-"

"You're wearing a bow, but that was it. You're even still using Gambol Shroud," I continue, seeing her flinch back. "Sienna knows you're here."

"But-"

"She doesn't care; you're not worth chasing," I add, watching her freeze. "I asked; she'll not hunt you as long as you don't interfere with White Fang operations or spill any secrets."

"You told-"

"She already knew. We've been texting since I became famous," I continue, watching Blake's anger die out. "Ozpin knows as well. Why are you surprised? You didn't even change your name. Have you ever searched 'who founded the white fang'?" I ask, making her pause and pull out her scroll.

"The White Fang was originally founded by the now High Chieftain Ghira Bella- motherfucker," Blake curses, making me smile.

"Ghira is indeed fucking your mother," I confirm, getting an unamused look. "Speaking of your mother… you know you need to talk to her, right?"

"Look, it's not that easy. I don't expect you to- fuck; sorry, Akari, you know I didn't mean it like that," Blake whispers, watching me send a text.

"Mhmm. You're stubborn, so this is for your own good," I say, making her blink and let out a strangled scream as a portal forms beneath her feet, sending her plummeting into it. It's fine; cats always land on their feet.

– Kali Belladonna –

Watching her daughter faceplant onto the living room table, Kali suppressed a giggle. Something told her that Akari didn't exactly give Blake a choice about coming home for this little talk.

"M-mom? Wait, I'm home?!" Blake squeaked as Ghira gave her a long look before he rushed forward and wrapped her in a tight hug. Kali joined it with a soft smile, stroking her daughter's hair.

"Don't worry; Akari will make you another portal to go back to Beacon when I ask him to," Kali promised, a beaming smile on her face. That boy really was a gift from the Gods. She asked him to get Blake to talk to them, and he did exactly that within the first couple of days.

Blake looked like a deer in headlights, but as they reassured her that they weren't angry at her, just disappointed, and that, no, Sienna wasn't going to string her corpse up in the middle of Kuo Kuana, Blake started to relax.

She could kiss that boy, but she'd settle for getting Blake to do the kissing. Akari had always been part of the family as far as she was concerned; now, she just needed Blake to stop being so stubborn and make it official.

– Akari –

"Did I just hear Blake screaming?" Yang asks, peeking through the door in just a towel as I nod.

"She was being stupid about not talking to her family, so I made a portal and sent her back to Kuo Kuana. I'll bring her back later," I confirm, making her blink.

"You can make portals that go that far?" Yang asks, making me nod.

"Yeah. If you wanna pop home for anything, I've got you covered," I say, giving her a thumbs-up as she steps into the room, the towel barely reaching her mid-thigh as she gives me an impressed look.

"Damn, you're a useful one, aren't you? I might just take you up on that," Yang admits, and I just nod again. "Wait, you know Blake?"

"Childhood friend. She's a good girl but a little dumb and stubborn sometimes. She ran away to become a Huntress, and her parents were worried, so I sent her home," I explain, making Yang nod.

"Yeah, I'd probably do the same if I could. Family is important, and you shouldn't worry about them for no reason," Yang says, giving me a look I can't quite discern. "She's gonna be pissed at you, isn't she?"

"Meh. I don't care if she's pouty; this is for the best," I say with a shrug. "She'll get over it."

Feats Achieved: Keep your promise to Kali (100cp gained), force Blake to stop running away from her problems (Epic Feat: 200cp gained), 300cp gained

…Blake, just how stubborn are you?

"Akari, you're her- Yang! Put some clothes on!" Ruby shouts, making Yang chuckle as her sister goes bright red. "What are you doing here? Wait, Yang, you didn't do that with him, did you?"

Ruby looks scandalised, and Yang scoffs with an offended look on her face.

"Oi, I'm not that easy, and you're too young to know about that kind of thing. Akari just made me hotter than ever," Yang teases, making Ruby blink as she blushes.

"Yang said you wanted to see me again, wanna hang out and talk about weapons?" I ask, finishing up my fixes as Ruby's eyes widen.

[Shadow Style] - 400cp, 100cp needed

There was a shinobi who once asked, "Why do we need to know swordsmanship if we'll never fight anyone directly?" That shinobi is now dead. It was a violent one. While not as potent as the Ashina school of swordsmanship, the Shadow Style of the ninja serves them well whenever a ninja must directly confront a foe. It primarily focuses on unbalancing the enemy and breaking through their guard, usually by parrying and countering their attacks. Because of this, it could be seen as a primarily defensive combat style intended more for duels rather than war. You are now the master of such a style, able to ascertain the weaknesses of your foe's stance and how to best exploit it by creating a window of opportunity for a "Deathblow". Deathblows are the decisive single strikes that put an end to your opponent.

Well, I did just say this is how I like to fight.

"I'd love to!" Ruby cheers, making Yang chuckle fondly as she zips over to me, eager to show off her baby.

I reach through another portal and pull out Kasa-obake, eager to show off the enchantment I worked into the shield.

– Ruby Rose –

Akari still wanted to be friends! Sure, her sister was being shameless and embarrassing her, but Akari was here, and he wanted to talk about weapons, listening patiently as she explained all the parts she chose for Crescent Rose.

He was so calm and collected, but she could tell he was listening to her as he quizzed her on why she used a specific part over a different one, making her beam at him as she answered.

"I've just upgraded Kasa-obake again since I've learnt how to imbue my power into weapons. Watch this," Akari said, his tail swishing excitedly as he deployed the shield, and it started to glow with a pale white light. "I've enchanted my shield, so it will deflect projectiles back where they came; cool, right?"

"Cool? That's amazing! How did you do that?! Is it some special dust or-" Ruby started.

"Nope. My power. It grows sometimes, and now, I can make enchanted equipment. I just imbue my powers into stuff; I made Weiss' dress make it so she could fly, as well as some other stuff. It's fun," Akari explained, his flat tone perking up slightly as he talked with her, excited to talk about weapons.

She knew he was cool.

"Did you make my new fire talisman?" Yang asked, getting her attention as Yang burst into flames, making her gasp, seeing the silver talisman on Yang's glove now that she was properly dressed.

"Nope. Sometimes, my power gives me things. It gave me the talisman, but it didn't fit me," Akari explained, making Yang look down at it. "So now you have it."

"Because I'm hot?" Yang asked with a teasing grin, making Akari smirk momentarily.

"Something like that. I'll see what enchantments your clothes can hold later if you behave," Akari offered.

"What if I misbehave?" Yang asked, making Ruby groan and throw a pillow at her giggling sister. Why had she wanted to be partners with Yang again?

"Wait, can you make Crescent Rose do cool things?" Ruby asked, her eyes widening as she looked between her baby and Akari.

"Mhmm, if you want. It's your baby, after all. I wouldn't want anyone else messing with Kasa," Akari said understandingly, and she beamed at him. "Ironwood is hiring me to enchant the Atlas Specialists weapons, so it's fine either way."

"Wait, do I need to pay because I totally can- okay, I can't, but please-" Ruby corrected, remembering that her savings consisted of a jar of cookies, a pile of weapon parts and her pocket money.

"Nah, it's cool. We're friends, and I like my friends to be as well-equipped as possible," Akari said with his usual bluntness, making her flush at his honest words. "Think about what you'd want Crescent Rose to be able to do, and I'll tell you if it's possible. Hmm," Akari paused, leaning over and touching her cloak with a frown. "Where did you get this?"

"My cloak? It was my mom's when she was younger. Mom gave it to me before she… well, before she passed away," Ruby said, stroking her cloak with a slight frown.

"It's amazing. It's just regular cotton, but I can tell I could put some amazing enchantments onto it. Weird, wonder if the age is a factor?" Akari mumbled. "If you want, obviously."

She hesitated because as much as she loved her weapon, her cloak was even more special. She could fix Crescent Rose, but her cloak was irreplaceable.

"It won't get damaged?" Ruby asked, making him shake his head.

"I've got a better idea of how much power I can put into things; I'll be very careful," Akari promised, watching as she unclipped it and slowly handed it over.

Akari took it, laying it down on Blake's bed as she watched him work. His hands glowed with a soft light as her precious cloak did the same. It felt like he was working for hours, but she logically knew it was probably just a minute or so before he smiled, the widest she'd seen on his face yet.

"Done," Akari said, pride clear in his tone. "Thank you for trusting me. I call it Mother's Caress, my first legendary piece of gear," he said, offering it to her as she put it back on. It almost felt like she was being held in a warm hug as she cuddled up in it. "It has an aura of its own, is basically indestructible, and it will move to block sneak attacks for you. It restores your aura while you're wearing it, heals any wounds you take, and can give you flight because everything is better with flight," Akari explained as she hugged the cloak to her. It was almost like Mom was still protecting her, then? She gave Akari a look of true gratitude, feeling so at home within her cloak.

"Wait, what made Mom's old cloak so special?" Yang asked, making Akari pause.

"I have no idea," Akari finally admitted, shrugging. "I think it is because of how loved the cloak was by both Ruby and your Mother. I can sense it, the… echoes of her. I didn't choose the enchantments, aside from the flight; I just let my powers be guided by her desire to protect Ruby," Akari explained. "It's hard to explain, but when someone really cares for something for a long time, it leaves an imprint. I just used that imprint, and she wanted nothing more than to keep the daughters she loved so much safe."

She had no idea what he meant, but it sounded exactly like what she thought. Her mother had wanted to protect her, and now, with Akari's power, she always would be. Blinking, she swiped at a rebellious tear that had escaped, not wanting to look like a baby in front of Akari.

Looking at Akari, she felt her cheeks heat up as he gave her a soft smile, not judging the intense emotions she was feeling.

Akari ruffled her hair with that same soft smile, his eyes crinkling slightly.

"We can talk about weapons another time, lemme know if you work out what you want to do with Crescent Rose, same with you, Yang, and whatever you call your weapons," Akari offered, making Yang nod at him with a beaming smile, her eyes a little wet. "Later."

Akari stepped off the bed, making them all gasp as he fell through the floor, or the portal they hadn't noticed that formed on the floor before it closed with a popping sound.

Yang moved forward, hugging her as Ruby let her tears fall. They weren't unhappy tears, and she was only somewhat surprised when the hood of her cloak moved to wipe them away.

Akari was amazing, and she owed him more than she could even imagine for this gift.

That is a really cool cloak, and it was worth it just to learn about the power of sentimentality. That cloak is made of nice, but very average, materials. It's been patched up so many times over the years, and the sheer love put into it has changed it forever. To be loved is to be changed.

[Grey Wolf] - Free, 200cp remaining

A loyal and mighty creature with teeth like swords and hide like steel, easily the size of a house, perhaps larger. You have earned the loyalty of such a noble wolf, well-trained and even smart enough to utilise a sword and other implements of war to tear apart your foes.

Standing in my room, the giant wolf pants happily as it stares at me.

"Heya, boy," I say, rubbing his nose with a small smile. "I don't suppose you like killing Grimm?"

The toothy grin and single, sharp bark make my smile grow slightly. That was a yes.

"Ah, Akar- what the fuck is that?!" Winter gasps, going for her weapon before I move between them.

"Wolf, my power gave him to me. He can kill Grimm," I say, giving my goodest of boys a pat as he pants.

"I- I see; I really need to adjust my understanding of 'normal' with you, don't I?" Winter says, releasing her weapon. "I just wanted to tell you that the new room is ready."

"Oh, cool," I say, patting my wolf on the snout before I pause and look at him. "...for it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul and, by my shoulder, protect thee."

He lets out a howl as a brilliant blue aura flashes around him, licking my face. Yeah, I need to come up with a name for him.

"Let's go see the new rooms and then poke Ozpin to find somewhere big enough for you to sleep," I say, making him woof as I turn to Winter with an expectant stare. In the worst case, he can sleep in the Fairy Fountain glade; I'll make him a giant dog bed.

Leading Akari to his new room, she let him in with the keycard, making a note to track down Miss Valkyrie and give her her own card later as she showed him into the far larger room. It was a little unfair to the other students, but the new room was nearly twice the size of the others, with a single king-sized bed, three double beds and a side room for her if she wanted to sleep away from Akari (or if he had other company). Professor Ozpin and the General worked fast, that was for certain.

"Huh, nice," Akari said, looking around as she nodded.

"Akari, can you send your wolf away for a short time?" Winter asked, making him blink as he turned to her. He froze as he did, seeing that she'd already divested herself of her clothes and was giving him a certain look.

The wolf huffed in amusement, and Akari just waved his hand and made a portal to the 'Fairy Fountain', the wolf trotting through it.

Standing before Akari in her birthday suit, she smiled at him.

"I realise I may be rushing things, but you have more than lived up to everyone's expectations, and I figured that you had earned yourself a… reward. We do not have to go all the way if you'd prefer, but I thought we should take advantage of having the room to ourselves," Winter explained, taking a seat on the edge of the king-sized bed, watching as Akari stared at her naked form with undisguised interest.

Akari had more than impressed both herself and Weiss, and he was far more reasonable and calm than most boys his age. She had a duty to Atlas to ensure that he continued to be so sensible, and rewarding the man who would be the father of her children was a small thing as Akari stepped forward.

She reached up, gently removing his Mistral-style robe, her hands touching his well-defined chest. It was good that he was in such good shape; she liked men who had good discipline. She pulled off his undershirt and pulled him in for another kiss, her hands working on his trousers.

His hands moved to her hips, gently stroking her soft flesh before he almost hesitantly moved them down to her firm backside. He was almost certainly a virgin, which admittedly excited her a little more as she pulled him onto the bed and made him lay down, smiling at him as she wrapped her fingers around his manhood, appreciating that he had a rather impressive-sized tool.

"Are you ready for us to go all the way, or would you rather we start slowly?"Winter asked, leaning over him as she placed a kiss on his neck, still stroking his cock with half her body covering his.

Akari answered the question with his actions, grabbing her and flipping them so she was on her back, Akari resting between her legs as he looked down at her exposed, slightly wet pussy with clear intent.

"Go ahead, you don't have to hold back, Akari," Winter urged, hooking one leg around his waist as she grasped his cock and helped line him up, rubbing the tip along her slit to help lubricate him and get her more ready. "I'm yours."

That did it, and Akari started to push forward as he slowly sunk his manhood into her waiting quim, making her moan lightly as he leaned down and kissed her, his hand finding hers as their fingers interlocked.

He was only hesitant for a moment, starting to move his hips with increased vigour as he found a pace he enjoyed, not too fast but not so slow that she didn't enjoy the feeling of him sheathing himself inside her repeatedly, moaning into their kiss as they made love.

His free hand came to her breast, caressing her soft bosom and playing with her nipple as she smiled up at him. She was glad it was him who had gained these powers; Akari really was a very good boy at heart, and quite attractive as well. His fox ears twitched and his tail swished behind him as she reached around and stroked the incredibly soft appendage.

What would her father think of her allowing a cute Faunus boy to have his way with her Schnee pussy? The thought made her giggle as she kissed him and encouraged him to go faster, her hips moving in time with his.

She quickly discovered that his inexperience was not a disadvantage, his thrusts picking up speed as he started to truly fuck her, balls slapping against her ass with each deep thrust, one of her hands wrapping around his back to claw into the soft flesh as she felt herself moan lewdly, her body reacting to his rapid movements and tender caress. They were still holding hands, Akari not once letting go as he kissed, groped and fucked her, breaking in their new bed.

She came first, which almost embarrassed her as she clenched down on his pulsating shaft, but she wasn't alone for long as the sensation of her tightening down on him drove him wild.

"Inside, Akari, breed my Schnee pussy," Winter encouraged. "Fill me with your fertile seed and make me yours."

He needed no further encouragement, and with an almost whisper, he called out her name as she sheathed himself inside her, and she felt his climax hit, his seed flooding her womb as she performed her duty to Atlas.

As he collapsed onto her, she smiled and kissed him on the head before she freed herself from under him, rolling him over and looking at his cock. Slipping down, she took the tip of his flagging manhood into her mouth. A single load wasn't enough to guarantee her pregnancy, so she should be sure, right?

Akari groaned, making her smirk as she fellated him back to full hardness, mounting him as she smiled down at him, retaking his hand as she started to ride him.

— Bonus Scene — Penny Polendina

Having arrived at Beacon, she smiled brightly as she wandered the halls. It was so exciting to be sent to Vale, and her new teammate sounded very interesting!

Akari, Weiss and Nora, her new friends and partners!

Humming to herself, she eagerly headed to her room to meet her new friends.

"Ma'am, I suspect that your teammates will not be in the team room at this time of day," Ciel reported, making her roll her eyes. Ciel was always so serious about everything. She understood that her father and James didn't want her running around on her own, but did she really need her babysitter to come with her? Maybe she'd relax when they were away from Atlas Academy?

"Well, we won't know if we don't check!" Penny said, moving towards the room.

Swiping her keycard, she opened the door and saw Ciel's tanned skin go even darker as an immediate blush overcame her at the sight before them, Specialist Schnee on her hands and knees with her tongue hanging out of her mouth as the white-haired Fox Faunus who could only be Akari railed into her from behind.

"O-oh my," Ciel murmured, gasping and covering her mouth as Penny happily moved forward.

"Salutations, Akari!" Penny greeted, making Akari blink as he noticed her approach. "I am Penny Polendina, your new teammate. It is a pleasure to meet you!"

"Hey," Akari replied, taking his hand back from where it had been groping Specialist Schnee's breast to wave at her. "Nice to meet you."

"P-Penny?!" Winter finally realised, her pale skin going red as she raised herself onto her knees, trying to cover her breasts and vagina, but Akari just grabbed her and continued to copulate with Winter with increased fervour. In this new position, both she and Ciel had a front-row seat to the sight of the large phallus as it vanished into Winter's depths.

Penny leaned forward, watching curiously as Akari sheathed himself fully into Winter over and over again. How intriguing!

"P-Penny, get ou-OOooh, oh Gods above, I'm gonna cum again," Winter whined, her face flushed with pleasure as Penny tilted her head, Ciel frozen in place. "T-they're going to see… Mhmm, oh fuck-"

Winter let out a loud, keening moan as Akari sheathed himself inside her, his testicles twitching as he released his semen inside of Winter. Ah, they were attempting to reproduce! Ooh, she loved babies, she couldn't wait to see their child!
