April 19, Feeling Heartache

[Donald's Perspective]

Elliot's yell stole Henry's attention, and in order to avoid having Elliot bite his neck, Henry was forced to move away from Margaret's side a bit!

I seized the chance, casting a dangerous glance toward Martha on the other side.

Martha's obsession with Margaret apparently wasn't as strong as Henry's. She decisively let go of Margaret's hand and, frowning coldly at Henry said, "The submarine is fixed! Let's leave here first. With only his Lycan underlings, he definitely won't be able to escape alive from this cave today. These experimental werewolves can easily drag them to their deaths!"

While she shot her gun in self-defense, she urgently added, "Margaret is destined not to like you, and your persistence is useless! Since she wants to die alongside that bastard, then we can only 'grant' her that wish. Do you understand what I mean, Henry!"

"Shut up! It's none of your business!" dodging Elliot's sharp claws, Henry snapped back, grinding his teeth.
