Her legs

Silence buried the both of them in the kitchen and later on. Xander left the room. Got ready for work and departed from home. He really should have asked where she went to and how she was doing.

Stacy just watched him in silence, when he left she thought of what to do to keep her busy all day. She freshened up and put on light make-up, she pressed her Amber hair to her side and dressed attractively.

She wore a pink mini off-shoulder gown. Then Stacy took a lot of pictures in his luxurious house and uploaded some on Instagram and some videos on Tik-Tok. When she got tired. She watched TV and then, took another nap. Staying in his house was boring. When she woke up, she said HI to her family and took a stroll out of his mansion to get to know his maids.

When Stacy got to their bungalow, she made her presence noticeable and just as she expected, they had a good time and were easy to talk with. With that, the day went by.

Xander arrived home at night, Stacy noticed something about him, he didn't have bodyguards and got no secretary with how rich he was. She thought the riches needed a lot of protection.

That means he was a loner. She needed to understand the man she was living with or else she'd fail on her goal.

When he arrived home, she was watching TV with Pringles in her hands, this time she wasn't sitting absurdly. When she beheld her master, she threw him a smile. "Welcome home dear Master!" She exclaimed and moved a little. "Why don't you join me? I mean the movie is going smoothly" she blinked her eyes in a kiddish way.

Well, Stacy was a tall slender lady with a perfect shape. She had icy blue big eyes with a narrowed nose. Her lips were plumpy and full. Ready for kisses at any time. And most of all her fair face consists of little freckles.

Xander rolled his eyes and turned away but Stacy didn't give up, she followed him. Xander then massaged his forehead, she was being the pain. He stopped as they walked through the corridor to his room. He lifted his arm and placed it over her shoulder before pulling her close.

"You really want to enter my room?" he questioned her.

Stacy was shocked but damn! He smelled so sweet, is it his perfume or he naturally smell this sweet?

But, he was holding her neck too tight. Oh! So, this was what he meant by returning the pain. She now felt disgusted with his arm around her neck and how he was pulling her like she was a heavy log he couldn't carry.

When they got to his room, she pulled out and could finally breathe. "Urgh!" She pushed him off. "What's so good about your room anyway?" She asked and then looked around. His room looked empty just a good explanation of his personality. Empty and lonely!

And there were several paintings, wait. . .He paints?! She glanced at him and went to a board the moonlight was staring at. She walked closer and saw that he painted a woman's face. He had an ex? Maybe he was this grumpy because she broke his heart.

She turned to him with a fake smile.

Xander had been watching her and was thrilled by her clingy behaviour and he wondered to himself. He had never let anyone this close to him except his Dad. What was so special about her? What has she done to him to make him this weak around her?

He watched as she returned to him but instead, she walked past him and switched on the lights before finally standing right in front of him. Stacy lifted her hands and attempted to unbutton his shirt and prepare him for his bath but Xander pushed her hand off. "Let me do my work, I've been neglecting that since I got here" she protested, something was now different about her tone, he sensed that.

Xander let her. "So, you had an ex and you never told me" she started.

Xander stared at her confused. When he met her gaze, she enunciated, "I mean the painting" she looked in that direction.

Xander sighed, "it's no Ex"

Stacy looked up at his beautiful face and smiled. "Who then?" She pulled the shirt off his shoulder, brushing her knuckles on his bare skin but now she wasn't focused on his body but on the woman in the painting.

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because I saw it first?" She doubted that. "You painted it right?"

Xander nodded. "What a good talent you got there, here I thought you were a workaholic and always sombre, never knew you were into art" she tapped his chest gently as if saying 'good job' but Xander was sensitive about it.

After taking off his shirt, she dropped it on his bed covered in blue. She looked around for his wardrobe but it was in his bathroom.

"So, who's she?" She asked with curiosity. Her eyes were just too compelling, he didn't want to say it to her but her eyes just were doing this thing to him that he failed to understand as she stared at him waiting for his response.

"My Mom" he whispered without gazing right into her eyes. It was so blue and was filled with that intent that weaken his guts.

Stacy was surprised, his Mom? Wow! His Mom was just as beautiful as he was. Looked like he inherited his looks from her but where was she?

"Wow, your mom is pretty. Where is she?" Stacy was still standing by his bed.

Xander lowered his gaze to see he was half-naked but she was comfortable with it. "Where she wanted to be, away from me" he whispered again, with that tone that told her that his sadness and loneliness were related to his mother.

"Okay" she was about to go closer to him but her legs failed her. Things like this had been happening to her lately. She fell to the ground and couldn't get up, she couldn't even feel her legs. Stacy looked up at Xander to help her but he just stood there like he was rooted to that spot.

"Xander" she extended her hand.

"Stop lying, I won't fall for your acts"

"I'm. . .Not lying Xander. I can't get up" she said and hit her legs. "I really can't get up" she looked at him and suddenly she started to cry. "What if, what if I'm paralyzed?" She began to imagine life in a wheelchair. "That means I won't be able to walk" she cried, hitting her legs but she felt no pain. She couldn't even move it.

Xander was surprised, she can't be lying if she was crying. He went closer and pulled her up by her arms but Stacy's legs weren't working or she didn't know how to use them anymore. She fell again. "See I told you. Why is my life just so miserable?!" She yelled at herself.

"Why can't you stand up? Just stop pretending okay?"

Stacy glared at him badly. "Why are you so stupid?" She didn't know that she was speaking to her master or had forgotten. "Why will I lie about. . .You just don't have enough IQ to know what's going on!" She yelled at him.

Then, Stacy lay on the ground and crawled with her elbow. It was hard but it seems Xander wasn't helping. Wailing, she tried to move her heavy legs that she couldn't feel. Why was this happening to her?

Five minutes passed but she wasn't out of his room yet and Xander was watching her.

Frustrated, she slapped the floor and glared at him, breathing heavily. "Is that how heartless you are? Can't you just help me to my room so I can think and make research on what's wrong with me?" She glared at him. She never knew that he could be this soulless to watch her struggle when he could help.

Xander then realized that she wasn't acting or lying, something was wrong with her.
