Surprisingly, Aurora found Carlisle quite the conversationalist. She’s not usually comfortable around men her same age because she found most of them naive, but she could not dare resist the young lord. Aside from the interesting stories he tells her, he’s also well-mannered that he’s even making sure to maintain the distance between him and her. She has socialized with a lot of noble men her age but it’s rare to find someone like the young lord of House Walrus who acts cautiously and maturely. 


They were in the middle of laughing when the coachman knocked from the outside and informed them that they have arrived. Aurora was too busy listening to Carlisle that she has momentarily forgotten that she is in a carriage on the way to Xenon, to take her exam. The thought that she was distracted alarmed her that she can feel her insides seems like being twisted. It’s like feeling the calm before a storm.
