Captured

Alec

I was seated outside with my heart so heavy. It's been weeks since we couldn't find Jessy. There's no where we haven't searched. This got Damion so devastated. He couldn't loose two of his beloved in one day. We already buried the alpha and now Damion has taken his position. While my own father handed me the Gemma.

I was really unhappy because of Jessy's disappearance. We didn't even know her whereabout. Jessy is someone I've wanted a long time ago but my father warned me against having anything to do with her. He said I shouldn't entangled myself with the alpha's life. I didn't know what that means but I obeyed him. I know he wouldn't say a thing if he doesn't have a concrete reason. Another reason is that, Damion might be my friend but our Alpha isn't someone to toil with.

As I was thinking, I saw Jessy's message bird flying over. We've not seen the bird ever since Jessy disappeared. With it showing up now, it gave me lot of hope. I watched as the bird approach and I saw it bearing a paper on its claws. I wanted to rush to go call Damion but I thought against it because I might miss the bird. The bird moved to me since it was very conversant with me. I took it and removed the paper that it beared.

I was going to give the paper to Damion but curiosity over came me. I recognized Jessy's handwriting "I AM WITH THE DEMON ALPHA" was all she wrote.

I ran inside like a mad man that everyone I passed looked at me dazed.

"Alpha!" I shouted.

"What gemma?" Damion asked blankly.

Damion too has changed since he took up the title of the alpha but I do understand. It is responsibility. Even the gemma position that I assumed is taking a toll on me, talk more of an alpha and a mourning alpha at that.

"This" I gave him.

His beta was with him when I walked in. If I had known I wouldn't have given it to him. Damion doesn't really like his beta since we were kids. Not that the guy really did us any wrong but he always keep to himself when he is suppose to be moving with us. We concluded he is so full of himself. Stiles is a decade older than us but we didn't think it should be the reason to always want to be alone. We think he is too calm to be a beta. Many times has Damion wished I was his beta. The guy hardly say anything aside it is for the pack. We've all been searching for Jessy together, so this news will excite him too. At least he could stop sticking to us and be alone as he liked.

Damion collected the paper and read it. He looked at me and then back to the book.

"Who brought this?" He asked quickly.

"Jessy's message bird" I replied.

"Gold?" He asked and I nodded. "I thought as much. That demon has my sister" he said in anger.

" The demon alpha?" Stiles asked.

"Yes" I replied.

" He's such a coward" Damion sworn.

"We need to get her quickly. We don't even know what that demon is doing to her there" I said impatiently.

" I'll need us to calm down on this issue. I know how we are feeling but the demon alpha isn't someone we can toil with. We need to get really prepared" Stiles said calmly.

Both Damion and I glared at him been that he just reminded us how weak we can be and how he just snapped the dead alpha's neck in seconds. Our alpha died like a cat and this beta still has the guts to remind us. He brought back old wounds.

"Are you saying we should leave Jessy to them?" I shouted at him.

I knew I passed my limit. The beta isn't someone I can shout at. He is next to the alpha. He's like a leader to me. So when Stiles looked at me, I bowed to show I was sorry.

I wouldn't lie, there is a lot of reasons why Damion and I dislike Stiles. There was an history that was told that his mother is a direct descendant of the moon goddess. This gave him an exceptional power. Instead of a normal beta eyes, his will show the moon color whenever he's trying to use his rank or show his powers. If he had been an alpha blood, he would have been so fearful. Another thing aside his good looks, is that he also as the ability to become an alpha, start a pack or hijack one. The dead alpha has always warned us to be very careful about him and his family. He wouldn't even let his father perform the full duty of the beta he is. People do wonder why they haven't rebelled, with the way the dead Alpha of the ranger pack treated them.

"Why would I say that? Jessy is family to me too. I was only saying we can't beat the alpha by rushing things" he said calmly.

Not to forget his always calm demeanor. That's one of a frustration. He wouldn't give any reaction, he would just strike. He is a very unpredictable person. Damion and I looked at each other. We didn't continue the conversation neither did he ask us any further question. We were glad because we were not ready to tell him either.

Stiles would be a liar if he claims that he isn't aware of our personal hatred for him. It wasn't hidden to him at all and we don't think he cared. We decide to exzempt him like the dead Alpha did.

At night, Damion and I gathered few men and went in rescue of his sister. We didn't inform anyone, not even his beta. That's even the last person we want to tell. We followed areas that no one would notice that we are gone. Damion already sent Jessy a message that she should be prepared for our coming.

Getting to the Sceptre pack, there's no need for a signpost or someone to tell us that we've gotten to the demon Alpha's territory. The atmosphere spoke it all.

Bounce

I woke up suddenly from my sleep. Not that I dreamt about anything, talk more of me having a nightmare. I just couldn't close my eyes anymore. I then walked to my window wanting to see if I watch the beautiful view of my land, I'll have my sleep back. Immediately I got there, I sighted a bird flying. I know a message bird whenever I see one. I knew the kind of bird we use in our pack for a message bird, this bird seem not to look like it. I whistled at the bird. Not that I expected it to come but I just wanted to confirm my doubt. The bird came when I whistled at it with my Alpha prowess. It couldn't resist the power in my voice.

I then took the piece of paper on its claws and read the content. I didn't know who the message is for. So to confirm, I did one secret thing that no one knew I could do. I cut myself and gave the bird just a drop of my blood. More than a blood would kill it. This action will make the bird answer to only me no matter what they say.

"Go deliver it to whom you are to deliver it to" I told the bird placing the paper back and it flew away.

I my eyes followed the bird untill it got to the window of the restriction room, then I knew who it was. I wasn't surprised because I didn't expect her to lay low without doing anything. I was even expecting them sooner.

"Get yourselves here now" I mind linked Mitchell, Gabriel and Moi.

Since they were not to far, they all met with me in the pack hall within few minutes.

"Alpha" Mitchell called me.

"The ranger pack is visiting us" I said.

" The one we have their female?" Moi asked and I nodded.

" When are they coming?" Mitchell asked.

They didn't know that they were planning to sneak in.

"This night" I replied casually.

They seem so confused. How can someone visit at night.

"Moi, I want you to call off all the guards so that they can have free entry" I said.

This was when they got the gist of the issue.

"Oh they want to sneak in to rescue their female" Moi said nodding his head to show he just understood. "But alpha you want to grant them entry?" He asked after he remembered what I said.

"Yes and do exactly as I say".

"Yes alpha" he said and got to work.

" Beta, I want you and Moi should gather few warriors and place then at strategi8places that would make them surround these rangers when they arrive at the first clearing, if they are passing the route I'm thinking of. I want them captured alive and tied to the stake till morning. Do not kill any

with those coming. The person I gave grudge with is dead already. I hate to hurt innocent people deliberately.

"Yes alpha" Gabriel and Moi" chorused.

" Get on with it" I ordered.

They bowed and left.

" What's your plan?" Mitchell asked me.

"Nothing, just only going to spread some nice news" I replied.

Mitchell didn't ask me any further question because he didn't have to ask. He already knew what my plans are.

"Hi back to sleep. We would see in the morning" I said to Mitchell.

Damion

Alec and I gathered the warriors to leave for the Sceptre pack. Although we were not planning to fight with anyone or kill anyone. If it's possible for us to sneak in and out with Jessy without a soul noticing, we'd be glad and if it's the other way round, we will face it. Anyhow , my sister must be rescued. I can't just leave her in the hands of the demon if an alpha.

We masked our scents with an odourless flower which we do use anytime we are off to war. Shifting to our wolves we raced to the Sceptre pack. On getting to the Sceptre pack's territory, none need to tell us that we've gotten there. The aura changed, it gave fear but I was an alpha and fear shouldn't exist in my word. Even if I'm not an alpha, my determination to get my sister surpasses any fear.

The strange thing about this whole thing is that we haven't smelt a single wolf close as we entered the territory. I've heard that the alpha demon scarcely secure his territory because just the fear of him wouldn't let anyone trespass. We are going with one mind and we are so alerted. We are in our wolf form so it wouldn't be easy to capture us in our wolf form without a proper fight.

We got to our first clearing and we could see the pack house from where we were standing. The fence isn't even as high as it ought. I wouldn't deny that the beauty of the place looks heaven and that I want captivated by its beauty. The magnificence was so amazing. We all stood and look at each other because we don't know where we will start from. I signalled to them that we should split and we all did. I didn't know where to she is but I know we would fine her if we are not caught. I was even looking out for her bird so it could direct us to where she is. Then there is also her scent which is the utmost weapon.

I inhaled hard to catch her scent and after so many unfamiliar scent, I finally got hers. I told her already to get ready that we are coming for her. After a little while, I discovered that ut was only Alec and I that was still in view. I didn't expect them to have entered swiftly but I really didn't lean on that thought. I already told them were we would meet once I mind link them that Jessy is in our hands.

We were still tracing her scents when we were suddenly caught up in something. It was a net trap.

"No" I growled. " This can't be" I said to myself.

I looked at Alec and he was in the same position. He was struggling hard to get out. It's all useless because I could feel the effect of wolf's bane in them. I knew this is the end. I wish my men could get wisdom to escape.

I would have thought someone betrayed us if we gave anyone the chance to know our plan. I knew we should have listened to Stiles. I didn't regret doing this because I'm sacrificing it for my sister.

The demon alpha appeared with another beside him.

"Well well well. What do we have here?" He said in disdain.

With the way he did. It was as if he knew we were coming. Now we've transformed to our human body and we are stark naked and powerless.

"Bring the rest" another said

It was the one beside him and it was vivid that he is a beta. He look quite younger than the alpha. Each guard brought every of my pack members and threw them on the floor. This saddens my heart but there's nothing I could do.

"I demand you release my sister you demon of an alpha" I shouted with my strength.

The wolf's bane is eating up my strength and making me dizzy but I want to show him I'm an alpha too. I didn't even see anything special about him. He's not even looking like a true alpha.

The beta lgave me a confused look. "Where is the alpha?" He asked.

"He is talking to me?" The demon alpha replied
