At The Crack of Dawn

Keira felt something poked her cheek. Jostling her from the comfortable puffy white cloud she was sitting on. The strawberry milkshake spilled on her lap, wetting her brand new jeans she got after fighting another rabid middle-aged mothers on a Walmart sale.

She opened her bleary eyes to find a pair brilliant brown staring with a hint of amusement. Startled, she squeaked and plastered herself on the car door.

"Relax, it's just your handsome future husband," Nate innocently said, a crooked smile on his still fresh face.

Heart racing from being woken up – so gently, but she still needed to calibrate herself first. "What is it?" Keira croaked, blinking rapidly to wake herself.

"Let's step out for a while," he said, unbuckling her seatbelt and then went to open the door on his side. He got out and pulled her hand, insisting that she had to get out too.
